My husband and I are not photogenic people (and we're pretty awkward), but Matt is so great as what he does that you'd never be able to tell because the pictures are so stunning! Matt makes you feel so comfortable and he is really easy to work with. My husband hates pictures and he actually got excited for our wedding photos after the engagement shoot. Before we even began speaking about a contract and price we 30 emails back and forth informing me on typical process and what to expect from wedding photography. This guy’s customer service is unmatched by any other wedding photographer in the Detroit area. Then when it comes time to working with him, he is incredible. Super easy guy to get along with and work with. He is truly there to not only save a cherished memory for you in a magical way but he is always right there ready to go when you have a specific picture you want. We had a few we wanted to make sure we got and he was right there ready as soon as we wanted it. We just got all the picture in a few days ago (about a one week turnaround) and they are remarkable. These pictures are the quality you would get from a photographer that is charging at least double what he charges. I would recommend Mollan Photography to absolutely anyone!

ago but he did a PHENOMENAL job with our engagement pictures and we just have so much confidence in him, we know he will do great with our wedding photographs. When my (now) Mother-in-law saw our engagement pictures, she cried because she felt they were so genuine and reflected who we are as a couple. Matt has a way about him that makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I can describe his style in one word and that's "natural". I never wanted a lot of posed pictures, just true genuine moments that reflect who we are and he just nails that! Matt, thank you for capturing our special day and working with us. , we reworked our budget as Matt was night and day above all the other photographs we met, yet remarkable still affordable compared to some others when you actual look at the price of packages and what you receive. My wife had certain places she wanted photographs taken, Matt was easy to work with before the day to get us a realistic idea of what could be done in the short amount of time. Come wedding day, his prediction was 100% correct on what could be done so we were able to get all our locations. Additionally, our church was very restrictive on photographers. You would never know by the photographs Matt took, he seemed to be everywhere, but watching the video of the wedding later you hardly see Matt. I don't know how he does it, he must be part ninja. Being involved with quite a few weddings before, I don't ever remember a photographer being so easy to work with during the wedding day. Everything was a yes with Matt during the day. Lastly, and most importantly, the quality of the pictures are top notch. While I could careless about what others thought, we have received numerous praises for Matt's work. We ended up with just under 1000 photographs. If I can give one piece of advise to you as plan your wedding, no one is going to remember the cake or the food, but you can look back at the pictures Matt took and everything about your day is captured and captured very well. Even some things that you never saw, Matt did, and he makes it look so good. Thank you Matt.

During the ceremony he was shooting from every direction but we had no idea because he shoot from the perfect distance allowing our guest to enjoy the ceremony and not be distracted. We didn't give Matt a detailed list of shots we wanted (even though it was tempting with all my Pinterest ideas) because we wanted to just be in the moment. Matt was great with giving us idea's on where to shoot pictures at and would give us direction on what to do if we started to get awkward. All of our pictures were online very quickly and they were perfect! He got everything we could have asked for and more! Matt is great to work with and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

hardly noticed he was taking pictures, but we have almost 700 photos on our disc. He is very easy to work with and he captured all of our moments beautifully. There are a few photos where he almost could have directed us more, and he is a little on the pricy side (we just bought the CD of photos and will be making our own photo book online) but overall he did a great job. If you are looking for a photographer who is going to set everyone up and pose people, this is not the photographer for you, but if you want someone easy to work with who will just go with the flow and capture your moments, definitely consider Mollan Photography!

photographer I made sure it was Matt. My husband and I were selecting from two open dates and before I confirmed with the reception hall and church, I emailed Matt to see if he had either dates open. Once I knew he was available, I nailed down the date to ensure him as my guy. Matt is super friendly, easy-going and down-to-earth; plus he's a Spartan!! :) He is quick to respond to emails and has great ideas that compliment your personal style. He's conscious of your budget, always emailing when he receives sale prices on canvases and memory books from his suppliers to see if you're interested in ordering. My photographer was one vendor that I would spend more money on since it is the one thing you get to keep from your wedding day BUT Matt is extremely affordable and worth the money. You definitely don't have to wait weeks or months to receive your teaser photos (or ALL photos in general) with Matt. He posted mine while I was on my honeymoon less than a week later! My wedding was only three weeks ago and I already have the CD with all photos in my possession. I can't imagine having another photographer for my wedding. Matt is dependable and makes you feel comfortable throughout the day. He is flexible and is innovative with the locations you choose.

o so pictures of a whole wedding, I was starting to think I would never find the type of photographer I was looking for. Luckily I stumbled across Matt by accident when looking at a friend's wedding pictures on Facebook. I met with him the next day and knew that I had found my photographer! Matt is a very nice guy, never pushy and a lot of people didn't notice him at the wedding. He does not pose people during the reception, he gets candid in the moment shots without people even noticing. His coloring in the pictures are amazing and so professional looking. Whatever he does really makes the pictures awesome. We got our engagement and wedding pictures done with him and have gotten so many great comments back from friends and family members.
