Working with Chelsea on my custom dress was an unforgettable experience. Planning a wedding in less than 6 months, many bridal boutiques did not have anything to offer me or had ex...
orbitant rush fee charges. After a frustrating day of trying on dresses, Chelsea was caring and calm. She was able to create a fully custom dress for me in under 6 months. Her pricing and process was transparent from the beginning and from our first design session, I felt completely heard and cared for. She approached every detail with patience, warmth, and extraordinary craftsmanship.
The dress itself was beyond anything I imagined — elegant and luxurious. Each fitting felt thoughtful, and her attention to detail gave me complete confidence. Chelsea didn’t just create a dress, she created something that felt uniquely mine.
Wearing it on our wedding day, I felt comfortable, beautiful, and fully myself. I will always be grateful for Chelsea's talent and kindness and cannot recommend her highly enough for a wedding dress or alterations! She is such an incredible designer.

me perfectly and that I felt comfortable and confident in, Chelsea’s wonderful energy made every try-on so special. Planning our wedding from an ocean away meant I had only one week for adjustments once I was able to pick up the dress in MN, but I was never stressed about it thanks to Chelsea’s skill and clear communication. Thank you, Chelsea!!!

actly how I wanted my dress. In addition to alterations, Chelsea designed and created custom removable sleeves for my dress. They were so beautiful that I never ended up taking them off! My dress turned out better than I could have imagined! Highly, highly recommend!

n my wedding dress for our April 2022 wedding. On the initial consultation/dress selction, Chelsea was so helpful and did not pressure me to buy or do anything, unlike my experience with several retail bridal dress salons. She listened to me and asked questions, which helped inform the dress design I selected. We met every month, and she was great on communication/progress updates. It was so fun to see the progress of the dress from start to finish. Even my mother and maid of honor brought their dresses to Modehaus to work on their alterartions. I would highly recommend Modeahaus to any bride!!!!

ction and created my dream dress! Every part of the design process and fittings was seamless (despite me living in NYC). All I can say is that I will look back on my wedding day and always remember the memories of spending time with Chelsea beforehand and how amazing I felt the day of. It is difficult to find a dress these days that doesn't look like all the others but Chelsea's designs make every bride feel like one-of-a-kind.

sea. She did a phenomenal job and had excellent attention to detail, the bustle was easy to do (per my bridesmaids, haha) and looked beautiful, and was so flexible and easygoing. I'd highly recommend her to other brides!
Chelsea literally saved my dress - if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Long story short- I bought my dress secondhand and brought it to a seamstress that did not have grea...
t wedding dress experience and several parts of my dress looked a lot worse after she modified it including the hem, pleats, and bustle, and she said she wouldn't be able to do anything to help a couple small mesh tears I had. I was really upset that my dress would look sloppy for the wedding. I saw good reviews for Chelsea and brought the dress to her. She is AMAZING. She knew right away what needed to be done. She re-hemmed my dress in a way that made the errors the other seamstress had made look natural, she realigned the dress and redesigned the way the pleats fell so they looked, again, like it had been designed that way. She made my bustle look phenomenal - like a fairytale ballgown, and she hand-sewed an applique over the mesh tears so well, no one can tell that it wasn't always a part of the dress. I can't recommend her for alterations enough.
Chelsea is incredible. I brought her my dress three weeks before my wedding, after a different seamstress nearly ruined it. Despite the dress being really complicated (tons of laye...
rs and different fabrics), Chelsea understood exactly what the problems were and was able to rework the whole thing at an amazing speed. She spent tons of time with me making sure it was perfect and gave me confidence that she would get the dress back to how it was supposed to before the wedding - and she did. I can't recommend her enough.

t dress I wanted! It was stunning! She was a true partner throughout the process, and it was such a cool experience for my mom and I to bond leading up to my wedding day. Modehaus also has a beautiful line of dresses that I loved admiring each time we went in for our appointments. Amazing experience! Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Chelsea at Modehaus was to work with. She's professional, warm, gifted, and funny. The wedding process can be stressful but I looked forward...
to each appointment with excitement, knowing that I would treasure those experiences. My childhood dream was to wear my grandmother's wedding dress. However, after 4 of my aunts wore it , the dress needed help getting back to its original glory. My emotional attachment to the dress was only heightened with the passing of my grandmother. Turning over such a precious garment can be difficult, but I knew it was in good hands with Modehaus. Chelsea brought the dress back to life and added so much value to our family heirloom. Before the transformation, it wasn't in any state that could be worn. Now, its something that not only appeals emotionally, it is also a stunning dress that the women in my family want to wear. I am so eternally grateful to Chelsea for making me feel beautiful at my wedding, and for giving me back a part of my grandmother to share in my special day.
