Mint Forever Photography

he experience and final product left us heartbroken. We spent 20 months planning, sent a detailed photo list months in advance, printed copies for them, and still did not receive many of the shots we specifically requested. I made it clear I didn’t want getting-ready photos and wanted the details captured instead. We had a detail box with our save-the-date listed and inside, yet they never photographed it. They also failed to photograph our decorated cocktail hour upstairs. Custom cocktails, rug with our names, décor tables, food table, custom signs, “through the years” display…not a single photo of any of it. We were even told by email that Stuart photographed the mocktail area, but later we were told he did not. We had to follow up multiple times just to get answers. We spent months DIYing a large flower wall and a custom dragon sign. They photographed only the table beside it and one sign, not the flower wall or the rest of the signage. Our fantasy-themed food table with custom name cards wasn’t photographed. Our dessert table was only half photographed; the Skyrim sweetrolls and other themed desserts weren’t captured at all. Each guest table had different custom signs, yet we only received one partial photo of one table, despite only having 14 guests. During the ceremony, my husband cried throughout, and we only received one photo of that moment. We only got one photo of us walking back up the aisle and one kissing shot, even though more were taken. We did not receive all of the family photos we remember taking. For example, we took photos with each of his three siblings, we only received the one with his sister. We also requested a specific reception photo of a family member; April confirmed she would send it, and we still never received it. A month later she again said she’d send it, that was two weeks ago and we still haven’t received it. No explanation was given for photos missing or withheld. Our contract never stated a strict limit on images or that photos would be held back. If it had, we would not have booked them. We asked for quick venue photos (and listed each area). These were not captured. A month before the wedding, April reviewed our list and said everything was normal content. She recommended adding 30 minutes for detail shots, which we paid for. We still did not receive those detail shots that we asked for. The delivery deadline was also not honored. Our contract guaranteed photos in 10 weeks and video in 16. Both were late, and we had to reach out ourselves to find out why. We kept being told updates would come, but they didn’t. We were told we’d receive our video “in a few days” and “by the weekend,” and it still hasn’t arrived. Messages were read and not responded to. Overall, we have major regret. We are devastated that so many once-in-a-lifetime details were never photographed. We feel they were careless with our requests, careless with communication, and careless with delivery. It truly feels like they took the photos they preferred, not the ones we hired them to take, and then provided only a small fraction of what was actually taken. I hope this review prevents another couple from experiencing what we have. We trusted them, and we are heartbroken with the outcome. Please consider this before booking.

ail and candid shot to make this happen! Not only are the pictures absolutely stunning, they are each unique and really connect with our personalities. She and her husband have such a calming and laid back nature to make you feel comfortable when the nerves start to kick in. They are real and care so much about their clients. They don’t hesitate to go the extra mile to get the best shot even if that includes four paws :) When the reception kicked in, she was amazing! Capturing all the fun without pulling our attention away from the party. Photography is such an important element of your wedding. THANK YOU MINT FOREVER for such an incredible experience! (Looking forward to connecting again one day as our family grows 😊)

cannot find anywhere else. They are some of the most personable, amazing people I have ever met. Even guests complimented me on how incredible our photographer and videographer was. They truly made my wedding day so incredible and they captured the best moments of the day. I am forever grateful to April and Stuart and I will certainly be recommending them to everyone I know as well as using them for my personal future photo needs. Seriously, if you are on the hunt for a photographer/videographer, without a doubt you should book them. I cannot say enough amazing things about Mint Forever Photography! Thank you x a million.
