Let me tell you, Mr. Minsky is top-notch!!!
I walked into his shop about 3 weeks before my wedding with a tuxedo in hand I bought online. I went in for alterations and soon realiz...
ed the fit was beyond correction. So, we went over my options, including sending the suit back and ordering a smaller size. Time was of essence. I tried on a jacket in the shop to get my true size. The material and fit of the jacket was GREAT!! He said he "may" can get a tux ordered and delivered in the next few days. He stated he would call the supplier first thing in the morning as it was after 5pm in NY. The next morning he called as promised and informed me they did have my size. I went to the shop that day and paid to have my tuxedo ordered. The tux came a few days later and I came in again to get final measurements. I also got my vest and shirt from him as well. He made sure I had everything I needed.
Two days before the wedding I realized my 10 yr old nephew pants were short and Mr. Minsky also made adjustments on them to allow more length while I waited.
This man worked wonders to make sure I looked my best on my wedding day. After alterations, I picked up our tuxedos, vest, and shirts dry-cleaned and ready to go. I got so many compliments on my tuxedo. It was tailored to perfection!!!
AND, Mr. Minsky during a time while I was stressed, constantly reassured me that everything will be fine. He took a stressful situation and made it pleasant.
So, I am so grateful to Mr. Minsky for making me look AWESOME on my wedding day!! (Dec. 4th)
He is such a joy to speak with. You can't find great customer service like this anywhere else.
He is FOREVER my tailor!!
As the ONLY place in DFW to get a kilt rental, they were great.
I am a fashion stylist living in Los Angeles and I needed a place that had modern suits and a place that was easy to deal with long distance. We went into Minsky's for about 30 min...
utes one day that we were in town. Picked out what we wanted for all the men, and that was it! All the guys had to do was get measured at their house (or go into the shop) and use the online measuring form to send in. So easy and we even got one free. We did a black on black on black look and it was great. I love small businesses especially when the owner was there himself. The convenience was what made Minsky the best. I also love to support small businesses. A win win.
After getting all the measurements for the guys the suits arrived the day before our wedding. 3 out of the 4 did not fit. We picked Minsky based on reviews and cost. My husband w...
as so stressed the day of our wedding trying to figure if they would have a suit to wear. He was given the run around the day of until he put his foot down and they fixed it. The quality of the suits were great and the color was good but the stress was not worth it. A week prior to picking up the suits there was another party there and they were upset because the color they chose looked nothing like what they got. Save your self some stress and just pay mens warehouse to do it right.
My husband and I wanted a latte colored tuxedo which is a little hard to find in a chain retail tuxedo shop. We were able to find a tux for all the groomsmen and my husband. We wi...
ll use them again.
I went to Minsky's website b/c I was trying to find the exact color green I wanted the groomsmen to wear, and they are the only ones that had it! They have a full variety of color...
