Minister Sharnise Sears

oad spectrum of options, from traditional, to a selection of unique experiences. We went with very liberal vows, allowing her to choose our exchanging of rings vows. Her words were beautiful and personal to us as a family. We will forever be thankful for her.

d and I went back and forth endlessly if we should ask a friend to make it more personal. Sharnise exceeded this wish in spades. The ceremony was deeply personal and just as importantly it was executed flawlessly. As soon as we booked we quickly realized that having someone that does this week in and week out made ALL the difference. Suddenly we had an expert in our corner that could advise us on how to craft the perfect ceremony instead of two friends figuring it out live. On top of this, she was unbelievably easy to work with. She gets a sense of who you are, what your priorities are and gets right to work. I didn’t have to worry about it for a second. Her professionalism is unmatched - Every step of her process from booking to post-wedding day is designed to make your lives easier and communication is clear as day. When faced with obstacles, Sharnise takes them on with grace and stride. We had mic issues during our ceremony and you simply wouldn’t have known by Sharnise’s voice. Weeks later I STILL get guests coming up to us and saying how much they loved her and the ceremony in general. My gratitude for Sharnise in leading one of the most important days of our lives is endless.

so Comfortable and special! We cried, she cried it was amazing!! Even our guests were impressed!! We HIGHLY recommend her!!

ur ceremony was absolutely PERFECT and included everything we asked for while keeping it short + sweet (also our goal :)) - all our guests raved about how perfect it was!

in making our wedding day uniquely special. Her ability to create a customized ceremony that reflected our love story and individual personalities was truly remarkable. Sharnise went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the ceremony was tailored to us, and her attention to detail made the entire experience incredibly meaningful. What sets Sharnise apart is not only her professionalism but also her engaging and inclusive approach to the ceremony. She made our guests feel like an integral part of the celebration by including them in various aspects of the ceremony. Sharnise's warm and welcoming demeanor created an atmosphere of joy and connection, making everyone feel like they were not just witnesses but active participants in our union. The way she seamlessly integrated the audience into the ceremony was a highlight that lingered in conversations long after the event. Sharnise played a pivotal role in making our wedding day unforgettable, and we are grateful for her skillful officiation, which brought a sense of unity and joy to our celebration.

ound Minister Sharnise by chance and we are so grateful. She really took the time to get to know us and made us feel comfortable. It can be scary to have someone you hardly know speak on such a precious moment in your life. She was unlike any vendor we worked with to plan our big day. We chose not to have a videographer for our wedding for a number of reasons, but I found myself actually regretting this decision because Minister Sharnise was so exceptional!!! Our family and friends felt included in the ceremony and were amazed to learn that we had only met several months prior. We continue to receive compliments on how special and heartwarming our ceremony was weeks after our wedding. Thank you, Minister Sharnise!!!

As an officiant, she gave us space to be ourselves and was very receptive to our strengths as a couple. In our experience she cared about our well-being over everything else. We're not exactly the most traditional couple. But, Minister Sharnise was undeterred and crafted our ceremony from scratch. It was an event that our friends and famly couldn't stop complimenting throughout the night. In essence, Sharnise was the perfect person to help us cement our vows in front of everyone we loved and cared about. We're happy to call her not only our officiant, but our friend after this whole experience. If anyone asks for an officiant recommendation after this year, we know exactly who we will be talking up at any opportunity.

ines in what she does. We connected immediately my husband and I loved every minute of our pre-martial sessions and when it came to our wedding ceremony she delivered! I'm so glad we chose her not only did we land the best officiant, but we gained a lifelong friend. I wouldn't have had it any other way! We really appreciate Sharnise and we love that we got to share one of the most important days of our life with her! We're freshly newlyweds, but 10 years from now we'll still want her by our side! :) THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!

f the love. She blended a traditional ceremony with Hindu values, it was done so perfectly. We felt as though one of our oldest friends was marrying us. It was truly the most personal and touching ceremony, I wish we could relive it over and over again.

the wedding. She did her research, she spent time with us, and she executed flawlessly. She helped make our ceremony feel like us and that's all we could have asked for. Hire her today.

get to know you and personalize your wedding just makes it that much more special. She prayed for us, rooted for us, made us laugh, and even partied with us. She made such a huge difference in our day and I will forever be grateful!

ionate about what she does and she truly crafts a one of a kind ceremony for her clients. We loved working with her!!!! 100% recommend

rt of the wedding preparation. She helped us better understand ourselves and our relationship. Ceremony planning was smooth and easy. She has such great energy and it really made our ceremony beautiful, as well as personal. The guests shared the same sentiment. As a bonus, she is awesome about sending the resources to simplify the process of marriage license and name changing. Love her!

h our own written vows, and she was a guiding hand in helping us organize the order of service. She made everyone in the wedding party comfortable at the rehearsal to make sure that everyone knew their parts during the actual ceremony. She went above and beyond in making sure everything was in order before our ceremony, and helped us feel more at ease. Thank you so much to Sharnise for all her help and professionalism. You can tell she is experienced and loves what she does, and we wouldn't have changed anything about how she went about organizing and conducting our ceremony.

I felt immediately comfortable around her- all the things that you want in someone who would you be your officiant and premarital counselor. If you are on the fence about premarital counseling sessions, I want to assure you that it is SO worth it (you'll thank yourself after), especially with Minister Sharnise. She prioritized issues that we wanted to talk about and there was the perfect amount of guidance and listening to allow for organic conversations between my husband and I. I am so happy that my husband and I were able to talk about some of these issues at the beginning of our marriage so that we could prepare to be the best team going forward! On the actual wedding day, Minister Sharnise came prepared and dressed to impress! She delivered the best wedding ceremony that we could have ever imagined and made us so comfortable at the altar. We are so so happy we went with her and highly recommend her!

or years. It felt like she encapsulated everything we wanted and it was so great to work with her. We had an unreal amount of comments about how great she was after the ceremony. She has a very magnetic charisma. Do yourself a favor and book Sharnise as your officiant.

were in such a beautiful way. She was so easy to work with and made our ceremony feel so personal to us. Cannot recommend enough.

end her!

She was so easy to work with and felt like someone we had known for years. I could not be more thankful we had her involved in our ceremony and now our lives!

her wisdom, encouragement, and support through our pre-marital journey. We can’t recommend her enough.

across as respectful, mindful and aware of weddings. I think it was a good decision after contacting Minister Sears. She was so vibrant from her call to how she handled waiting on us after we were a little late. She helped completely with every detail that was needed and went beyond. She was professional with every encounter. I have to say that I didn't know the process after getting married quite well but she sent out an email going into detail about the process. I'm so thankful to have found a beautiful soul and so amazing. I'm aware this review is late, but she was honestly a blessing to us. I can't say there was any problems with how Minister Sears handled herself and her business. Her assistant was amazing too. She deserves more than this review, but we'll settle for this. Thank you for everything, Minister Sears.

to get a feel for each of them, and Minister Sharnise was head and shoulders above everyone else we talked to. She wanted to get to know us, and build something that was personal to us. We had several Zoom calls prior to her creating the ceremony and she asked us questions to learn more about us, our relationship, and us as individuals. While we outlined what we were looking for in our ceremony (very personal, fun, not religious), she didn't fill us in on the exact wording because she wanted it to be something for US - a way to keep us present on our wedding day. She kept everyone smiling and made our ceremony so personalized and kind, and we have had so many people mention to us how great the ceremony was! We can't thank her enough for making our ceremony so beautiful and perfect!

churches, so we figured it would be nearly impossible for us to find an officiant willing to marry us. Luckily, we got engaged during the pandemic, and I could spend my copious amounts of free time researching wedding vendors. I thought it would take days to find someone, but I was completely wrong! The Knot suggested Minister Sharnise to us as one of the top officiants in our area. One look at her website and testimonials and I was nearly positive we wanted to work with her. She offered pre-marital counseling and to make us a custom service, specific to us based on what she learned about us through the counseling. One zoom meeting with Minister Sharnise and I was positive she was the only person I wanted to marry us. Our pre-marital counseling covered it all, childhood, past relationships, household duties, general expectations, finances, family relationships and role models, what was most important to us in our marriage, and much, much more! She made us look at everything that we may encounter so that we knew that marriage was the right course for us, all while making the process fun yet meaningful. She is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever meant, and after a few months of counseling I felt like I had known her for years. She was more than willing to incorporate all of the quirky things we wanted in our vows, and helped to guide us through what would flow the best. We had a lot of general, overarching ideas when it came to our service, but had not thought about any of the small details. She was much more prepared than we were and helped me to organize what I really wanted from what I thought was expected from me. Our service was absolutely beautiful, and I cannot think of anything that represented the weird, quirkiness of our relationship better than what she put together. All of my friends and family were crying and afterwards they told me it fit is perfectly. She didn’t even hold it against me when I forgot to invite her to our rehearsal dinner and ask her what dish she wanted for our reception (I know, I’m a mess). I honestly cannot say enough great things about Minister Sharnise. I’m so thankful that she worked with us and helped to make our special day amazing. She’s the whole package!!

don’t know how we got so lucky to find her, but I am truly SO happy we did. During the planning process, we knew we wanted someone to marry us who was relaxed and fun, someone who got to know us as actual people in our daily lives. I guess you could say, we didn’t want the “traditional” church wedding. My husband and I are very friendly, lively and outgoing people. From the minute I read Sharnise’s website bio and checked her out on social media, I new I IMMEDIATELY had to have her marry us. I booked her on the spot. Before we actually ‘met’ via Zoom, we contacted back and forth via social media and got to know each other better. I liked that she kept in contact and was so fun to talk to! After our first meeting, I can’t explain how happy I was. Not only was she so friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to; she really got to know us better as a couple. After completing our couples assessment, she went through everything with us and gave us the most helpful marriage advice. We had never done any type of couples/marriage advice or counseling prior to this. The advice and topics we talked through were and still are so incredibly helpful. We talked about things we don’t normally talk about as a couple, but things that are very important to address as we start our lives as husband and wife. One thing I love about Sharnise is how open and honest she is; she never judged any aspect of our relationship. She was so humble, and related topics we brought up to her own life and marriage, showing us that marriage is not always easy, but there is always a way to work through things. During the planning of our ceremony, Sharnise was so open to anythinggg. You want it, she’ll make it happen!! We actually had a beer ceremony where we shared two beers instead of the traditional wine, which everyone thought was AMAZING. She even purchased both beers and tried them together to make sure they tasted okay so we wouldn’t be grossed out on the day of. What blew me away was how she used the beers we picked and related them/how they taste to our personalities. I thought that was very unique and very cool! From the minute we got engaged, I always said I wanted something different at our wedding; I wasn’t sure how to make that happen, but the beer ceremony definitely was just that.. different! Everyone loved it. It was SO fun; definitely fitting for our personalities. Sharnise crafted a ceremony so beautiful.. it was personal, touching and so romantic. My absolute favorite part of our wedding was our ceremony, and that is because of her. I really can’t put into words how happy I am that Sharnise married us. When I say book her, I mean NOW! :) She made the entire ceremony planning process for us SO easy. She’s friendly, thorough, professional, and has one of those personalities you are just drawn to. She can also tear up a dance floor! I had the BEST time dancing with her at our reception. Sharnise- We’ll never be able to to thank you or express our gratitude to you enough. Thank you for making our day everything we envisioned and honestly, even more. I would recommend Minister Sharnise to anyone and everyone! Not only is she great at what she does, she’s a wonderful person who I’ve loved getting to know, and I know we will remain close for years to come!

ery was. We had met with Minister Sharnise virtual for a pre-marital session where we went over results from an assessment which shed a lot of light on key areas of our relationship and some areas to pay special attention to moving forward. From there we used her bomb.com form to complete our ceremony preferences, met again to discuss knowing we didn’t want anything “super” traditional so we asked her to modernize the ceremony and vows. Being the control freak bride, I wanted to know (practice) so bad what we would say but knowing this, she made sure we kept it a surprise, and had fun and kept the ceremony light and heartfelt. She TRULY cares about her couples, spending time answering questions, providing guidance and making herself available throughout the process. 10/10 would recommend! PLUS she is probably the best dressed (and most fun & real) minister around!!

d us premarital couples counseling and officiated our wedding. The counseling allowed us to grow a bond with her as well as review our relations with the assessment she offered and then reviewed with her. And for the wedding ceremony, she guided us through the entire thing. She created an experience based on our relationship and made sure it was unique and not cookie cutter. I have highly referred to anyone that has needed any of her services.

Our ceremony fit my husband and I perfectly and we will never forget our experience with Sharnise leading up to our wedding day. Her meetings made us grow into more compassionate individuals for eachother. I highly recommend Minister Sharnise Sears and her services!

pier. She was very easy to talk to and responded promptly every time we reached out to her, and made us feel at ease about our ceremony. Everything she wrote was personalized and heartfelt for our ceremony, and we couldn’t have loved it more that she incorporated our sweet pup into the ceremony! All of our guests commented to us about how impactful her words were. If you’re looking for an officiant, stop now and reach out to Sharnise because you won’t find anyone better.

tal counseling with Sharnise and she was was with us through the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception and her energy is CONTAGIOUS! The ceremony had everyone laughing and in tears at the same time! She helped make our day so special and SO PERSONALIZED!!!!!! She took the time to get to know both of us and she NAILED it at the alter! Word of advice - DO THE COUNSELING! It was more than worth it ! So happy we found you Sharnise!!!!

y Wedding. When I met Sharnise she was purchasing custom jewelry from me. I had no idea she was a Minister, but what resonated was her beautiful spirit and we just clicked. I can’t tell you how long we stayed at Starbucks chatting in what was supposed to be a quick business transaction. I believe God allowed our paths to cross with something bigger in mind. So fast forward…Here we are in 2020 and Sharnise was standing up at the alter with Matt and I telling our friends and family about how Matt and I met and performing a beautiful unity sand ceremony for our blended family. We would recommend Minister Sharnise Sears over and over again because she takes her time to get to know you as a couple during pre-marital counseling. She has a great attention to detail and was able to get the crux of who we are individually and together. Thank you Minister Sharnise Sears! Humbly Submitted, Matthew & Marquitta Taylor 10.17.2020

comfortable & could feel her positive energy. She was super professional, friendly and such an entire VIBE!!!! We had no idea exactly what we wanted in our ceremony but she made sure to help us every step of the way by providing us with so many ideas & options. Before & After our ceremony she was there to check & see how we were doing & if there was anything we needed. We wanted our ceremony to be personalized and everything she created was absolutely beautiful. Our Family and Friends loved her & thought we’ve known her for years. One of my favorite moments was walking down the aisle & seeing a huge smile on her face which showed how happy she was for us. She even started crying.!!! Omg I just loveeeee her :) . She is super genuine and you can tell she absolutely loves what she does. . My fiance and I were fortunate to have Minister Sharnise facilitate our premarital counseling. She is compassionate, attentive listener, and transparent. We always felt open to discuss any issues no matter how uncomfortable the subject matter. I would recommend Sharnise to any couple looking to get married.

stions with no problem and made me more excited for our big day. We planned our wedding in 3 weeks , she was right on board giving her ideas and being available. I couldn’t had ask for anyone better!

nd vendors during the course of our wedding planning. Maintains constant communication throughout our wedding process. I would highly recommend her services!!!!

elt like it was just a job to her or something “she had to do.” She really took the time to help us find our footing with the ceremony and make it as personal as possible. I cannot rave enough about this woman. It really was a honor and pleasure to work with her!

the best there is in Ohio.. PERIOD!

irst meeting we knew she was going to provide us with exactly what we wanted. She was available throughout our engagement for any questions and suggestions, sent reminders to get our license, and follow-ups after the wedding with a copy of our vows and how to change my last name, even noting that she was available still to answer questions. We had multiple meetings and phone conversations, and her ceremony script made it sound like she knew us our entire lives! Our guests were asking if she was a family friend... truly amazing. My husband and I have never done this before, and we could not have asked to work with anyone better. Thank you over and over again Sharnise!

orated it into our ceremony. Our wedding was what it was because of her and I am forever grateful for her professionalism and care she showed for us and our union. She even helped bustle my dress afterwards which was so not her job but she was willing to help and I appreciated it so much! My expectations were surpassed!

d and guided both my (now) husband and I through the entire process. Sharnise made our special day even better than I could have ever imagined. We made a last minute decision to not write our own vows and what Sharnise came up with was absolutely perfect for us. She really got to know us as a couple and cared a lot about our love story. She knew exactly what was important to us. I highly recommend her services!
