Mindy is wonderful to work with and helped bring my vision come to life! She knew how to work with my hair length and texture and even recommended a few hair pieces that would go w...
ith my wedding outfit. She did my hair as well as all the bridesmaids and my mother-in-law. She was also very gracious to take on one more family member the day of the wedding because they liked her work and special touch. I highly recommend Mindy.

all our expectations and made our wedding weekend flawless. Highly highly recommend!
Having Mindy and her assistant, Jess, do my wedding party's hair and my makeup was the perfect situation for me! I was starting to despair when I couldn't seem to find any beauty v...
endors who would be willing to do only one person's makeup; most vendors I looked into required at least four girls getting makeup done and at least four getting hair done. I wanted to pay for my bridesmaids' updos, but they all did their own makeup. Mindy, however, had the perfect solution for me: her assistant, Jess, whom she would have been bringing along anyway because she brought Jess whenever she had 8 or more ladies' hair to do, used to do makeup professionally. Everything worked out exactly as I had hoped: I had both a hair trial with Mindy and a makeup trial with Jess, and Mindy did all of our updos that day while Jess did my makeup and curled hair. They both did such a great job, and I am so pleased with how everything turned out!
Mindy is great! She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Very responsive and easy to work with.

to look at a picture and do that exact hair style. I got so many compliments on my hair at my wedding and all my bridesmaids were very happy with their hair. I would highly recommend Mindy.
Mindy did a great job. She used a new curling technique and I felt like I was an old Hollywood movie star! She's so quick and all my bridesmaids looked great as well!

es it so quickly that it is practically at the snap of her fingers. I was amazed at how quickly she got through 6 intricate, very different hair styles. She is an absolutely sweetheart, very accommodating (even squeezed my trial in outside of her normal hours), and professional. Her prices are phenomenal. Besides photos of her fabulous up dos, her prices are what drew me to her. I love that she doesn't charge double for the bride and even has discounted rates for junior bridesmaids and flower girls.
She showed up at the hotel on time and ready to go. She didn't even charge a travel fee.
It doesn't get any better than Mindy Whalen.
Mindy did a phenomenal job on my wedding party. She did the hair for my bridal party including three little girls who actually sat still long enough to let her do her work and didn...
't once complain, because she is so good at what she does. She worked under an extremely tight timeline due to unexpected events that day and by time she got to me (last) she was just as calm and a pleasure to be around which kept me calm. She is able to recreate any hairstyle you can imagine. I had pictures for what I wanted for all of my girls and they all turned out looking just like the pictures did. She is in my opinion the BEST of the best and a joy to have part of your wedding day!
Mindy was awesome. I book her along with Nicole Palmero and it was one of my best decisions. Mindy did a great job. She knew exactly what I wanted even though I had no clue at all....
I looked like I had about 5x as much hair as I actually do. She was so much fun to work with. It felt like I had known her for most of my life.
