Beautiful place for a wedding! Glad we picked it
I would highly recommend Mill Race Historial Village to anyone planning a wedding in Michigan. The site is absolutely beautiful and perfectly clean. Amazing customer service and ve...

We had our wedding ceremony in the New School Church this past weekend. It was so beautiful! We loved that the money we spent went to keeping history alive! Jennifer was great to w...
ork with, quickly responding to odd requests to measure things for us since we don’t live nearby, and making sure we knew what things would be like the day-of, as well as helping us with our pandemic rescheduling by rolling over all our payments and contract to the rescheduled date. We were a little nervous about getting set up and taking down during the rental time, but we were lucky enough to be able to set up the day before and pay for chair setup/take down, so it really made the day more relaxed. Debbie was our docent, and she made a suggestion for decor as we were setting up that really tied things together! Great experience here, and we highly recommend it!
We had our wedding ceremony here and it is absolutely beautiful! Jennifer and our docent during the rehearsal and ceremony were both extremely helpful and awesome to work with. We ...
are so happy how everything turned out, thank you all so much for making our special day so incredible!!
Beautiful venue to be married. They made the process super easy. Our docent made sure we had the park completely to our guests.
They did a wonderful job for me for my wedding!! I initially spoke with Jennifer who helped me set up my wedding date and answered all my questions leading up to the big day. Then ...
for the rehearsal and ceremony the wedding docent did great with answering any questions and dealing with last minute little things. The village was beautiful on the day of my wedding. I got married 9/30/17 and they had repeainted some of the buildings, worked to improve the gazebo where I would be married in front of, and it made a beautiful place to take pictures. I would definitely recommend to any couple looking for a pretty place to get married.
Absolutely beautiful grounds that made for gorgeous photos during the ceremony and after. The docent the day of the wedding was very friendly. Jennifer the office manager was also ...

I had booked at Laurel chapel originally, they ended up going out of business and we were searching for a place that still had our date open. This is a true time when i believe "Th...
ings happen for a reason" because i fell in love with this place, and i was able to get the real ceremony that i didn't even know i originally wanted. The grounds are beautiful for pictures. I loved the historical feel of the ceremony. i didn't even decorate the church and it still turned out nice.
Absolutely Beautiful! Perfect for an outdoor wedding. With the setting and the colors on the trees this could not have been better.
The Mill Race Village in Northville, Michigan was always one of my favorite places to go since I was little, and it was always the place where I wanted to get married at! The churc...
h is so cute and simple and the whole village has a very quaint, victorian feel to it. The grounds are gorgeous and there are so many great photo opportunities, you don't need to go anywhere else! The grounds are reserved for your wedding only for 2 hours, but I would recommend adding an extra half hour onto your time, it really helps to have a full hour before the ceremony to set-up any decorations/flowers, and then have a full hour after for pictures before the grounds are opened up to the public. Reserve your date early, as they book up fast!! I loved getting married here and our pictures are fabulous!
