We were honored to have Mike capture our wedding day, and he did not disappoint! Thanks to him, we have so many great photos from our perfect day that we'll cherish forever. He was...
so great to work with! Not only is he such a nice person, but he's so easy to communicate with and really helped make the sometimes awkward process of posing for pictures feel comfortable, easy and just fun! Thank you, Mike; we'll be forever grateful to you!
I need to write a review letting everyone know what a great experience I had with Mike photographing my micro wedding. The photos are so beautiful! Mike was very flexible with all ...
of our changes because of Covid, and my family and friends loved him. He was flexible when we had to postpone, and was a pleasure to work with every step. I highly recommend him!!!
Mike was great to work with; we were very comfortable with him and he took amazing pictures of our day! I ended up adding a 2nd shooter the week before the wedding and I'm so glad ...
I did because we have SOOO many great photos (I'll review MamaTPhotography on a different post). He turned around our edited photo's in about 3 weeks and I'm so excited I can't stop going through them.
Two things to keep in mind as you're searching - I read from a lot of girls to make sure you have a shot list and I didn't....I don't have a photo of just my mom and I which is a little disappointing but I was very focused on making sure the majority of the pics were done before the ceremony so we could enjoy everything after so that's probably partially my fault.
Lastly the file sharing service he uses is very difficult we struggled to download these on our laptops and phones. My friend got her photo's back and only needed a link and a password. I'm going to share this feedback with him though and see if there is an easier way!
There aren't enough words to describe the amazing experience working with Mike and his team. They captured not only the best moments of the wedding, but moments that I didn't reali...
ze were happening until after the fact!! The beauty and emotion captured in every picture is stunning, and Mike couldn't have been easier to work with. There's no request he can't accommodate. And as someone who doesn't particularly like getting my picture taken - he not only made me feel comfortable, but they made me enjoy the process from start to finish. Mike is known as one of the top wedding photographers in the Monterey Bay area, and I can see why - he's the best!
I cannot rave enough enough about the talent, care, and personal touch of Mike and his team. He takes his time, getting to know you, and has amazing skills. As a result, the qualit...
y of his work is simply stunning. Mike is able not just to capture moments, but to distill them in such a way as to capture their beauty and soul. After our experience with Mike shooting our wedding, we will Never work with anyone else but him. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely, hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. We got married in Monterey, and photography was our highest priority. Mike was referred by a friend, and I loved ...
his artistry, customer service, and personal touch. He doesn’t approach his photography business like a typical business person. You really feel cared for, and like his only priority is that you have a perfect wedding day. He always does more than you expect, and works behind the scenes with the other vendors for your benefit. During my wedding day, we hardly saw Mike, unless we looked for him, and somehow he was always there! He captured the beautiful and emotional moments, and my friends and family loved him. Mike is the best, and we cherish our photographs and wedding album.
This is a LONG overdue post to rave about how amazing Mike Danen and the rest of his team are!
If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Mike and his team are t...
rue professionals and are so much fun to work with! We had Mike's team make us a video, as well as do photography, for our wedding day, and also provide a photo booth. The quality of work and the images Mike captured that you have for a lifetime do not compare to other photographers in the Santa Cruz Monterey area. My wedding book is absolutely beautiful, and he also made us some canvas prints for our home. He was our favorite vendor, and I cannot recommend him more highly!
Wow, Mike Danen is an amazing photographer! We are so happy with all of our wedding photographs, they are absolutely gorgeous! He also provided a wedding video, and it is so fun to...
watch. We get to relive the sounds as well as the sights. Our wedding album is a truly fine art book. The printing and binding are so elegant, and it's also very sturdy. Mike was a pleasure to work with, every step of the way. He was so attentive, and really listened to us. On our wedding day, he was so calm, and fun to have with us. He really helped me enjoy my day. I think he's the best!

rned out better than we could have ever hoped for and our videos are absolutely amazing! Mike was always on time, friendly and a great photographer. He captured moments in our wedding we did not even realize until we saw the photos & videos afterwards. He got the photos and video to us soooo quickly- within weeks of our wedding. Our wedding was large but Mike and his team was able to capture everything and beyond. He got every photo I gave him on our shotlist! I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone for any event. He is absolutely amazing.

stant was also very nice and it was good having 2 people taking pictures to cover everything.
Pictures are such a huge part of the wedding and I am so happy with the way they all turned out.
It was such a pleasure working with Mike and his assistant Melissa. Beautiful pictures and quick turn around. Definitely recommended and definitely will call again in the future.
We met with mike for a free consultation and his work was better in person than on the internet. I had searched for ever trying to find a good quality photographer, but who would w...
ork with my budget. He was the only one who would work with me and gave us the best deal. I was perturbed by how some photographers were unshaken by the economic woes of some people. But Mike was the best! He is not the "staging" type of photographer and he lets you do what YOU want. None of our pictures were "posed" and they turned out the best! I highly recommend him for the job! plus he does videography too!
I used mike for my wedding in june 2011. He was amazing, so friendly and professional! He did everything we wanted and were comfortable with!! He was so convenient and flexible wi...
