Luminous Photography, Mike and his wife provided us with creative ideas and excellent direction for poses and backgrounds that resulted in stunning photographs. The originality an...
d eye for detail, knowledge of best lighting is demonstrated by their artistry. They also are experts at organization and bringing calmness when things get hectic for bride and groom. Their flexibility to attend various events during the wedding ceremony and reception allowed us to have the entire event captured in photographs. We had so many great pictures to choose from it was hard to select the favorites for our album. The selection process and the making of the album is a very easy process to maneuver as well.

Since booking Mike and Heather, we had the chance to spend time with them during our engagement shoot and instantly became friends...because they are sincerely the NICEST and most caring people ever. If you're looking for a dynamic photography team- stop looking and book them!!! We will be using them for photoshoots for years to come. Mike is a rapidly growing Charlotte skyline photographer and has amazing drone skills (as one example) and heather is a highly qualified nurse giving her compassion unlike any other. (she even needed to use her nursing skills at our wedding, sadly) I could keep writing but I just want you to know- if you're reading this far...you need to hire them!

e look we were going for with our wedding photos. They are a laid back couple local to Charlotte, and they are super easy to work with. The pricing is fair, and they offer several different packages to ensure that you only pay for what you need.
On the wedding day, Mike and Heather both arrived on time and ready to go. They, along with our coordinator, kept us on time without being intrusive or overbearing, as we'd heard many photographers can be.
We felt completely at ease and relaxed. All of the "poses" and staged photos felt completely natural- not forced or awkward. We've received the initial sample photos, and they are absolutely stunning. The candid shots that we've seen are fun and unique, and they really captured the energy and excitement of the evening.
If you are planning a wedding in Charlotte, you can't go wrong with Luminous Photography!

Doing this for as long as they have, they had never worked with such a detail oriented photographer before Mike & Heather! I had no idea you could track star alignments and cloud coverage relative to a specific spot and time! Mike and Heather were truly wonderful and indulged all our of creative sparks.
