Cake was DELICIOUS!!!! Moist and wonderful flavor!!! Lemon Raspberry was my absolute favorite!!
Tanya was absolutely wonderful, we live out of state so only had one day when we would be able to meet up with her for a tasting, so she brought the cakes in little single serving ...
samples for us to take back to our hotel and sample. The cake itself was absolutely delicious and we got tons of compliments on the unique flavors (Iike key lime!!) She also made a very unique 3D grooms cake shaped like the Deathstar, which was phenomenal.
Our cakes were FANTASTIC and EXACTLY what I asked for! My wedding cake was delicious, fresh, and BEAUTIFUL!!! My husband cried when he saw his because it was a replica of his very ...
first truck he purchased. Tanya is an artist and if Midtown Cakes isn't doing your wedding cake, you're going to have disappointed wedding guests! :)
After a cake tasting with my husband and our moms we ordered a strawberry with cream cheese frosting three tiered naked cake. It was not over priced and looked gorgeous. Some peopl...
e have problems with their naked caked tasting dry. Not us! We didn't even wait to eat the top teir we took home. It was beautiful and delicious and delivered on time. Couldn't be happier.
We went with a small two-tiered cake for cutting and several different flavors of cupcakes. The overall design of the two-tiered cake was very simple so I cannot speak much to thei...
r design skills. However, the set-up was quite nice and the cake was AWESOME. Our guests could not stop talking about the yummy cake and it was cool to have several different flavors to choose from. Also, they give a free small cake for your one-year anniversary so that you don't have to eat a freezer-burned mess. We did butter cream frosting and our flavors were creme bouquet, strawberry, key lime, and almond. The price was also very fair. My only complaint was that they do not handle any of the details so you have to be the one to know what questions to ask and to remember the payment due dates. For example, our cake topper ended up being too heavy for the small cake and we didn't know to bring the topper in to check or to ask for them to reinforce it. It ended up working out ok because they just sat the topper in front of the cake, but it would have been much nicer if we had actually gotten to use the topper.
I worked with Midtown Cakes through email. I tasted their cake at a bridal show and fell in love with the Almond flavor cake. I emailed them a few pictures and they pulled elements...
from each picture and created the perfect wedding cake. We also had mini pies for our grooms cake, which was a HIT. They were so cute and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend Midtown Cakes.
First off, this cake was incredibly delicious! We did half the tiers in red velvet and half vanilla, and it was absolutely fantastic!! And no extra charge for alternating flavors.

They also rent cake stands, which we took advantage of.
The only downside of this vendor is that they were a little difficult to get in touch with whenever I tried calling.
And there was a mix up when they mailed me my contract and didn't fill in the cost of the cake and wanted me to sign it and mail it back in. I went down to the office and they happily fixed the mistake but it was a little annoying that I had to go out of my way for that.
I am excited that this vendor offers a fresh cake on your first anniversary, so you don't have to save the top tier and eat a spongy gross piece of cake that's been sitting in your freezer for a year. I think that's brilliant and a very unique touch for a cake vendor!
Our cakes not only looked beautiful, but they were delicious as well. I am pretty picky when it comes to red velvet, and Midtown totally nailed it.
My cake was amazing!! I had Red Velvet and my husbands cake was chocolate mouse. They were very accommodating and will create whatever you can imagine!
Loved my cake and my grooms cake! Looked just like I wanted and tasted great! Love!
My wedding cake was a dream come true. I gave Tanya my thoughts and the cakes that she made were more beautiful than I could have imagined. Her work is not only gorgeous but tast...
y as well. We went with an almond bride's cake and a chocolate groom's cake. They were delicious! I could not have been happier!
Thank you Tanya and Midtown Cakes for our beautiful cakes! You went above and beyond our expectations! Everyone LOVED them! Thank you :)
We had to find a cake very fast because the hotels pastry chef fell through. And of course all the close ones were booked. Since the wedding was in Auburn, AL I looked at Columbus,...
GA because its not that far of a drive. My fiance and I drove out to Midtown Cakes for a tasting. When we left we had the type of cake we wanted, which was amazing, the total cost it would be, and the delivery price. We booked them the next day! Everyone loved the cake! The best part is that instead of saving the top layer, they will bake you a fresh one for your one year! All you need to do is call back and let them know!! So looking forward to another bite of that cake!
