I used the Middlebury Inn as my home base for a full wedding weekend this past September (Friday/Saturday/Sunday events). The majority of the wedding guests were from out of town,...
so we recommended that they all get rooms at the Middlebury Inn so that we were all centrally located. I found the staff at the Inn to be professional, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my wedding weekend went off without a hitch. Many of my out-of-town relatives commented on how much they enjoyed staying at the Inn - it has rustic charm with all of the amenities that folks usually expect at larger hotel chains. Although our wedding was not located at the Inn itself, we hosted a relaxed after-party there, as well as a breakfast. I highly recommend the Middlebury Inn!
We had our wedding party stay in the mansion at The Middlebury Inn and everyone raved about it. Todd was very helpful throughout the process and very patient with me. The Inn its...
elf was perfect for our out-of-town guests who were looking to have a Vermont experience. We would recommend to everyone!
My wife and I are both Middlebury alums, so when it came time to plan our wedding, we could think of no better place for the reception than the Middlebury Inn! Over the course of o...
ur five days in Vermont, the folks at the Inn did everything in their power to make sure we had a wonderful experience. All of our guests agreed - the venue helped make the event truly special.
In addition, I have to give special props to Todd Gordon, our coordinator, who was absolutely on top of everything. I could list all of Todd's contributions and exceed the word limit of this post, so I'll just mention this one: when the group bus we had booked to take all of the guests to the site of our welcome dinner broke down, Todd finagled us a replacement from the Town of Middlebury on the fly and still managed to get everyone to the location on time. He really went above and beyond.
All in all, I can't think of a better place to have spent our special day!
Everyone loved the historic Inn, it made for an amazing wedding, and beautiful pictures. Some issues with details were neglected, the groom was kicked out of his room at 11:00 and...
had no place to get ready, the mansion, which was supposed to be all wedding party had a random guest the night of the rehearsal dinner, and of course this guest complained about the noise, but the guest should have never been in the mansion to begin with! Overall good experience with some annoying kinks that they NEED to work out.
Our wedding was a close to perfect as they get. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and the staff is great. We had the ceremony and reception at the Inn and most of our guests stayed...
throughout the weekend. The food is great and everything is very reasonable.
