Michelle Gunton Photography

just about anything to get the shot. The only reason I am giving 4 out 5 stars is because our wedding day was a little hectic and it kept changing from the original timeline. During the sudden changes, she was not entirely flexible. Which is not a bad thing, she kept us on track as much as possible even with all the last minute changes, but she was tense. She also made a video of our wedding and it was awesome! The music and editing of the video was smooth and beautiful. I highly recommend Michelle, just make sure your wedding day timeline is set in stone and does not change. Make sure all parties during the wedding day understands the timeline. That way she can do her awesome job.

future and highly recommend her for any of your photography needs!!

party and need to travel to multiple locations). She was able to work with us on that! I still can't believe she was willing to put in over 10 hours of work for our wedding! Michelle was able to get inventive and creative photos while still capturing traditional poses for our mothers/grandparents. We were a bit nervous because my husband and I lived in MI (our wedding was in NC) and we were not able to meet her to do engagement photos. However, Michelle called us multiple times and made sure she captured the styles we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I wanted candid shots and my mother wanted formal family shots. She was able to combine what everyone wanted! When I received the photos (which only took like 1 week!!!)....my husband and I were BLOWN AWAY at the quality and variety of the photos. Michelle's assistant (I apologize of not being able to remember her name) was also very talented and got great photos of my husband and groomsmen! Michelle also gave us great DJ and hair/makeup artist references. We ended up hiring both of the people she recommended and they were amazing!! (FYI- Lenny Fritts was our DJ and Ginger Mullins was our hair/make up artist). Bottom line: If you need a flexible, reliable, TALENTED and hard-working photographer for your wedding...Michelle is it!

at I wanted in a photography package, but I found most of the times that photographers would not move things around or listen to what was important to me. I felt that I was just a walking bank to them, and that they didn't care if I hired them or not. Michelle was different from the get go. She offers a la carte pricing, which I found was better for my needs. She helped me understand the pricing of certain package items, and listened to me so she could figure out what I really needed. I really like Michelle's spirit when she is photographing you. You can tell she really loves what she does, but she also wants to make the pictures match your personality. I am so glad I found her. She is so professional, creative, and a real talent.

gagement shoot and wedding photos. Neither my husband nor I like to be the center of attention so we were a little uncomfortable at the engagement shoot, but Michelle was so good at making us feel comfortable and she had the best ideas for what would make a good picture. She was easy to contact throughout the whole process and suggested a wedding day timeline that worked within our budget of 6 hours of photography on the big day. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the pictures. They are perfect. She even captured special little moments between wedding guests that I never would have known about had she not captured them with her camera. She was so calming, so easy to work with and her work is amazing.

d frequently with me before the wedding, she suggested a great timeline that worked perfectly. On the day off, she was prompt, in place, and was great to work with you. She is very professional, and down to earth as well. She encouraged my husband to be himself, and for me to let him be himself, because the pictures would be great. And they were! Everyone has commented on how great this pictures are and that they look like they belong in a magazine. Our wedding was so much fun, and the pictures really display that as she captured all the smiling, the laughing, the dancing, and great fun we all had. I highly recommend Michelle to photograph your special day!

to approach each shot with an artisic view point. Your event will be her canvas and she will make it a visual masterpeice. She is Picasso with a Camera..

bridal, and day of) with Michelle. She has an eye and skill set for creating great images. I provided a few photos ideas and she ran with them; one i know was extremely difficult but she made it look effortless and flawless. We trusted her vision and she proved herself worthy. Her special effects were amazing. Michelle has a wonderful spirit and she fit right in with our families and friends, which is important with dealing with vendors. Jewun and I were very pleased with Michelle and her work, we look forward to working with her again in the future.

, we see love, tenderness, fellowship, joy, exuberance and beauty. We are so grateful not only for Michelle's gift and skill, but also for her reliability and professionalism.

relief, Michelle Gunton was an excellent choice. Her pictures of our special day far exceeded anything that we could have imagined! She captured the spirit of the day (and the fun moments that we missed in all of the craziness of the day) beautifully. She was also receptive to our thoughts and ideas. We will always remember our day through her beautifully artistic portraits! She even had our pictures done by the time we were back from our honeymoon!

at job of really paying attention to what kinds of images I wanted to capture on my wedding day and helped to suggest ideas for things I was not sure about. Michelle and her staff are so talented and I could not be happier with the photos from my wedding day. Michelle went above and beyond my expectations. Her prices are fair and the end result is well worth it! I am so grateful that I found Michelle Gunton Photography and I would recommend her to everyone!

me and I talked to many many photographers. When I met Michelle, I knew she was the right fit. She is flexible, organized, friendly and reliable. I can't say enough about her work, everyone who has seen our pictures is blown away. She captured special moments that we can now relive forever. And she knew every detail to capture because she listened to what we wanted and delivered. Michelle also did an engagement shoot for us and it turned out great. I would recommend her to anyone and fully believe you will get quality service and a smile too! She was more like a friend during the entire process and that made it fun for all of us. ;-)

dreds of photographers before falling in love with Michelle. I wanted pictures that were classic but had an artistic, old world feel to compliment my wedding. Michelle completely understood my vision and gave me a great balance of "grandmother approved" traditional pictures and then really special, interesting art-pieces to hang on my wall. Michelle gives great direction and is such a warm, engaging personality that she will make all of your guests comfortable. She will get all the shots you want without distracting from the wedding day action. And at the end of the night, you'll give her a big hug as if she was one of your bridesmaids. Really can't say enough good things about Michelle and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

tures ALL the amazing emotions and moments, so you can relive all the wonderful memories. We were particularly impressed after looking through all the ceremony photos and were amazed at all the different vantage points she was able to get by herself. She was constantly on the move, but blending in very well, we didn't even notice her, snapping away to capture all the beautiful moments. She is very artistic and incorporates black and white which we absolutely loved. We can't say enough wonderful things about Michelle and her work and we highly recommend her to all brides! She is super sweet, friendly and has a way about her that makes everyone feel very relaxed and at ease which really shows in the photos! Michelle turned around the photos very quickly which was great since we couldn't wait to see them. Friends and family members can't stop raving about how amazing the photos are and we can't agree more. We look forward to having Michelle capture more of our wonderful, big moments down the road!

es. Right when I saw those pictures I knew she was amazing! A few years later I got engaged and she was the first person I booked. Michelle communicated so well with us and used every idea we had. She wants your pictures to be perfect and how you want them. She has so many ideas of her own and all of them turnout great. Usually, when I look at other peoples wedding pictures all the pictures are just of the same people and they are all posing for the picture. With Michelle, she takes a picture of almost everyone and great action shots. She captures everything that happens and does an amazing job. Our engagement, bridal portraits and wedding pictures were AMAZING! People from our wedding and on facebook are still telling me how beautiful our pictures are and how great our photographer is. Michelle is truly amazing! Shannon O'Brien

aphing. She documented every aspect from start to finish with gorgeous photographs. Our family was extremely pleased with our experience and with Michelle Gunton Photography. We would definitely choose her again.

engaged I knew she would be the one for all our pictures. She not only took all our wedding photos she also took the engagement ones as well! She did a fantastic job, more than I could have ever imagined. She even worked our beloved dog into the photos. The day of the wedding she showed up early and took a ton of pictures of everyone hanging out and getting ready. Some of the pictures she took still to this day bring tears to my eyes. Those memories are relived over and over thanks to Michelle. She is reasonably priced and her photos are amazing you would be crazy not to hire her!!! She will be like one of the family!!!!

were so pleased with the experience and the photos. We were able to enjoy our guest and reception right after the wedding. She captured our special day beautifully--high quality photography. The album she made us we also love. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful, creative wedding photos!

e about her enough. Her work is absolutely brilliant and she has an effortless ability to adapt to your style and your vision, whether it be artsy, classic, elegant, etc. It's hard not to get frustrated in the search for the perfect wedding photographer, what with the insanely high prices, hidden costs, and lack of availability, but Michelle was such an easy person to work with from the start and was willing to work within our budget. Part of our contract included an engagement photo session, which was very fun! My husband and I had never had professional photos taken, so we were a bit hesitant going into the shoot, but Michelle immediately put us at ease and took some of the most beautiful photos that we couldn't wait to share with our friends. She was even a calming presence for our hyper neurotic puppy, which allowed us to get the most adorable save-the-date shot! The photos Michelle took for our wedding were STUNNING! I'm not sure how she does it, but she alone managed to capture every single special moment of the night between not only my husband and me, but also among our family and friends. Her shots are so diverse, ranging in lighting and angle, and we are obsessed with every one of them! Every time we posed for pictures taken by family or friends, she was right behind them getting the shot too. She was very professional and kept us on schedule despite how hectic the day was, while also maintaining complete composure and keeping it fun and enjoyable for us and the wedding party. She also has this way of making you feel that your wedding is the most exciting one she has been to and really tries to make the photos unique to the couple and to the style of the wedding. Finally, as if she couldn't impress us any more, she had the finalized photos ready for us very soon after the wedding, which is pretty much unheard of in the wedding world. She is truly a rockstar! We were thrilled with the results and cannot wait to recommend her to other friends getting married in the Triangle Area!

. We did an engagement session in October before the ceremony in July, so we already a good rapport, but she's so easy to get along with, we'd have been fine no matter what. Michelle is one of the most artistic and expressive photographers we came across and she was so easy to work with. We love the resulting pictures and, frankly, enjoyed having her around on the day of! Her work speaks for itself. Also, she was affordable and definitely worth it. I hope we'll be able to work with her for future family shoots, too!

making sure to keep everything within a certain amount of time, and all the pictures turned out amazing!! I would recommend her to any bride!

She was very chill and laid back but professional at the same time. She also had good prices for here services. I would recommend her to anyone who wanted a different style and approach to their wedding photographs.
