Merkels Floral Studio

e moment we started planning, they understood exactly the aesthetic we were going for—elegant, romantic, and timeless. The floral installations on the wedding day were absolutely breathtaking. Think cascading blooms, lush garden-style arrangements that look straight out of a fairytale, and gorgeous candy ombre table arrangements. Every petal was thoughtfully placed, and the overall impact was nothing short of magical. Beyond the beauty of the flowers themselves, working with the team was seamless. They were professional, communicative, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the florals—and honestly, neither can we. If you're looking for a florist who will elevate your event and leave a lasting impression, this is the one.

d my expectations and delivered the most elegant, chic, timeless and flawless floral arrangements. Each individual stem was intentionally placed in such a beautifully curated design, perfectly catered to my vision and beyond. I cannot recommend Merkels enough!

our visions. We were allowed to come into the shop to choose vases, candles, and flowers. They took all of our requests and questions and ran with them, offering their own insight and using the creative expertise to bring it all together. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined and the flower arch they crafted for us was a DREAM! Merkels is a must if you want your florals done right!

l that she understood my vision and would make it a reality. I got countless compliments on my flowers during the wedding and they are just gorgeous in the photos. Would highly recommend hiring Merkels!

ere better than we could imagine. Kristin is so amazing and friendly and was always willing to answer any questions and help in so many ways. Our day would not have been the same without this wonderful company and they helped make the wedding planning process so fun and manageable. We cannot recommend them enough!

her way. She was so easy to work with, and I truly entrusted her with every part of our day. Our rehearsal and wedding florals were beautiful and truly exceeded expectations. I would recommend any of my family or friends to use Merkel’s, and I am already looking forward to any excuse to hire them for other events. Thank you!

The flower arch was stunning—fresh, vibrant and overall perfection. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting the floral displays throughout the day. I’m so grateful to have had them as part of our special celebration! Kristin is also so incredibly talented and sweet, she makes communicating easy and responds quickly. Overall- such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

ur very vague vision and run with it — and she sure did! She was mindful of our budget and created a wonderful mix of florals and candles to tie together our venue so perfectly. On the morning of the wedding, she also attached several heirlooms to my wedding bouquet that really made it extra special. We are so thrilled to have gotten to work with her and HIGHLY recommend the Merkels team!!

loor to ceiling live ivy all through the reception all. It was a showstopper. She hand crafted a hair piece to match my bouquet and basically did everything I wanted better than I could have dreamed.

easy-going personality made the entire planning process with her so smooth. When we sat down to discuss the vision I had for my wedding I told her I was thinking blues, purples, whites, and I wanted the entire place to give off a coastal Italian vibe - which I was positive made no sense, but Kristin was the biggest yes-woman. She immediately understood what I wanted and was so helpful when sitting down to discuss what I was thinking for the wedding. On top of this, she was incredibly conscious of our budget and worked with me to make sure I got everything I wanted within my price range! Another thing I never got to compliment on was her memory & attention to details; I had asked for Dahlias and Peonies in my bouquet if possible - knowing it was probably not going to happen as they weren't in season ... BUT SHE GOT THEM which I did not expect at all. From our altar and signage, to the centerpieces and bouquets, Kristin and her team exceeded my expectations by 1000%. I would not change a single thing. Kristin, we love you so much, and cannot thank you enough!

miracles! She is also just an angel on earth and I’m so thankful I got to work with her!

iated all of Kristin's recommendations and guidance throughout the planning process. She also was so thoughtful to work with when considering our budget and flexible with adjusting things to make it work for us. I can say confidently that Merkels was one of our best vendor decisions - would highly recommend to any other bride!

friendly and I am really going to miss my vendor team. I saw her the morning of my wedding soaking wet (it rained all day..) and she had the biggest smile on her face working away to get my florals exactly how she promised me. Thank you Kristin and team!!!!

iented. For a couple that knew little to nothing about florals, she was able to talk us through our vision of the day and bring to life designs more beautiful than we could have dreamt. In addition, the entire Merkels team was incredibly efficient and adaptable. From transporting the ceremony’s floral arch to our reception venue within a limited time frame, to adding rose petals for the aisle the day of the event. I knew that the Merkels team would have our backs and deliver, and for that we are incredibly thankful! Kristin has such a calming presence and was a person we were so grateful to have in our corner. A moment that I will always cherish from the morning of our wedding was getting to see Kristin walk up to me as I got my makeup done just to show me my bridal bouquet for the first time. Delicately wrapped with ribbon and and charms from my grandmother that I had passed off to her to incorporate - Kristin and her entire team put so much love into everything they do. And they make their couples feel so special and taken care of! We even asked her to replicate the bouquet for a small church ceremony with our families a few months later and she was so amazing to help us out. We are so excited for future couples to get the opportunity to work with Kristin and the entire Merkels team for their big day!

were patient with any questions, or changes we asked. We had a vision and they completely exceeded our expectations. We cannot thank Merkels Floral Studio enough for making our perfect rainy day that much brighter.

rd and sent it to her, that was it. To say after that she made my dreams come true would be an understatement. Merkels blew me away with the floral arrangements they made. You can trust that when you pick them you are in good hands. They completely exceeded my expectations and made me feel so confident in my planning process. Even when I was panicked in the weeks leading up to my wedding they were so reassuring. Our special day would not have been the same without Merkels. Thank you so much to Kristin and her team, you guys truly are the best!

on for the day. From our first video call, Kristin took all of those nerves away. She made us feel SO comfortable to share our thoughts and provide feedback and took our ideas and ran with them. She even accommodated adjustments as I changed my mind throughout the process and was so kind and thoughtful every step of the way. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away by how beautifully the space came together and I cried when I saw my bouquet. I would absolutely recommend Merkel's to anyone looking for a personalized and stress free experience with incredible results. You can tell Kristin genuinely cherishes creating beauty for her couples and it was a joy to share this special time in our lives with her.

ncredible planner, Engaged with Nora, for recommending her. She helped us stick to our budget while turning The Old Courthouse into pure magic. I'm not usually excited about flowers, but I loved our florals so much that we decided to get them preserved through Blue & Rose Studio. Kristin knew I wanted a pop of color for the preservation, so chose some flowers that would turn into pretty blues and pinks after being white for the ceremony.... it was PERFECT and we couldn't be happier with how gorgeous everything turned out!!! She books up quick so my advice would be to book with her asap!

. Kristin was so patient and truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She makes you feel so special and makes the whole process so easy. She listened and made my vision come to life. Our wedding day was an absolute dream thanks to Kristin and her team at Merkels Floral Studio. I would 10/10 recommend booking Merkels as your florist!

ctacular. She was easy to work with, understanding, and so kind. Her work was breathtaking. She is truly a florist that you can put your trust in.

s so communicative throughout the process, super respectful of our budget, and had incredible ideas. I trusted her implicitly and we were so thrilled with the results. We had endless compliments about our florals - truly the highlight of our reception!

was perfect! Weeks later, I am still getting endless complements about how amazing the florals were. Kristin is highly professional, and she responded to all my messages almost instantly. I made several changes and had new ideas throughout the planning process, and she always was happy to help me and adjust! I even made changes the week of my wedding, and she made the process so easy! She went out of her way to make me feel special, and she truly captured my vision for our wedding day. It was all I dreamed of and MORE! Merkels Floral Studio was one of our favorite vendors of the day! I could not recommend them enough!

wanted (and changed my mind almost daily) Kristin at Merkels Floral Studio took so much time to talk over zoom and over email and was just so extremely helpful and accommodating. Working with her was an absolute dream and I truly love her so much. She took all of my crazy ideas, and made them into a reality I never could have even dreamt of! The magic that was created by Merkels was truly amazing. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous everything was and it was all because of Merkels Floral Studio. Everything was perfect. Kristin even came an hour early for my bouquet to be there for my detail shots and helped my (now) husband put his boutonnière on!! Truly such an amazing decision to book Merkels and I recommend them 1000000% to any bride looking for a florist! I can’t wait to watch all of the beautiful things they continue to make. I am truly a fan for life.

ng every step of the way. We are so grateful for the way her work contributed to our special day. I will forever recommend Merkels to anyone looking for a florist for their special day!

Kristin was so responsive over our course of working together and was very accommodating each time I reached out to make minor changes to our plans. In the end, we were so pleased with how everything turned out and received many compliments about our florals. I would highly recommend Kristin and her team to anyone looking for a talented, creative and reliable florist!

pportive, and excited for our big day! My wedding florals were better than I could have imagined! Kristen & her team were amazing! If you need a florist I would HIGHLY recommend Merkel’s. You will not be disappointed!

, everything was stunning. She was so kind and added elements to the design without me even having to ask! My bouquet was the most beautiful arrangement I have ever seen. Everyone should use this vendor for their events!

ck ins before creating final flower pieces. Everything turned out way better then I could of ever imaged. I will definitely with be using this florist for all flower needs in the future.

irst started looking for wedding florists in Autumn of 2020. I had some strong contenders, but Kristin's enthusiasm and personable demeanor set Merkel's apart from the others. She had so much genuine interest and excitement in my floral ideas! I knew from the start that I didn't want a more traditional muted color palette for my own wedding. I wanted a mix of moody, jewel-toned colors with pops of brightness. And Merkel's delivered just that and then some. We were surrounded by gorgeous, local and in-season dahlias - my favorites. Complimented beautifully with smilax, eucalyptus, carnations, garden roses, blue thistle, ranunculus, scabiosa and pops of small orange and blue blossoms. It was perfect. Kristin worked closely with me to find the best floral options for our venue and our bridal party. No detail was missed. From our arch, to a floral display above my ceremony entrance, our table centerpieces and smilax greenery around Rivercrest Farm's winding staircase. An added bonus is that Merkel's had worked with our photographer, Carly Drzazga, before our wedding, so the teamwork and overall feel of the wedding came together seamlessly. Kristin made sure that our photographer had plenty of fresh blooms for flat-lay and detail photos, which turned out absolutely stunning. Kristin is always quick to respond to emails and was extremely accommodating of changes during our Final Review before the wedding. The day-of Kristin and her team were so quick and efficient getting things set up and making sure everything was where it needed to be. Merkel's went above and beyond for our wedding and I am so grateful to have worked with such a wonderful team! They delivered absolutely stunning florals at a very reasonable cost. As someone who was raised by a gardener and avid flower enthusiast who passed her passion onto me, florals were of the utmost importance for my wedding and I was blown away with the final result. I cannot recommend Merkel's Floral Studio enough!

was truly speechless when I walked into my reception and saw the amazing work that she did. I cannot recommend Merkel's florals enough!

not have matching bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen ties so we truly depended on Merkels to come through with this, and they did. Above and beyond customer service and just genuine happiness for us. Pricing was also very reasonable and for flowers, you don't often find that. 100/10.

our wedding day enough. If you are looking for a florist who will absolutely exceed every single expectation, bring your vision to life even better than you dreamed of, + make you feel so confident and comfortable throughout the planning process look no further- you've found your floral dream team!!! I feel so lucky to have found Kristin early on in our wedding planning process- Immediately after our initial inquiry call I knew I had found our florist. Kristin is so warm and welcoming and you can truly tell how much she loves what she does. I had a really specific vision for our florals and every single change was accepted with excitement and each detail was so intentionally executed to perfection- I was truly brought to tears. I will never stop raving about my bouquet, the statement pieces, and amount of guest love we received about how incredible the floral details were throughout our wedding. Florals are arguably the most important decor element on your wedding day and Merkel's is hands down the BEST. If I could do it all over again Kristin would be the first vendor I'd book over and over and over again :)

utiful flowers I have ever seen in my life. Everything was perfect!

er. From our first meeting/questionnaire to the wedding day and after, the merkel’s team has been amazing at communicating with my planner and myself. They listened to exactly what I wanted but gave helpful suggestions on how to improve upon my vision! I will not be using any one else for florals going forward!

t... and did she deliver! She not only executed my vision for the wedding day perfectly, she did it better. One of my favorite things, besides my bouquet, was the floating florals in the pool, which she had to attach an individual floating device to each flower to ensure it stayed afloat. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I can't say enough good things about her and Merkels Floral Studio. If you are thinking about hiring Merkel's Floral Studio... stop thinking and just do it.

we told Kristin what we were looking for in the vaguest way possible, and she turned that into the most beautiful bouquets and venue decor. We felt Kristin shared our excitement throughout the process and always listened to our questions and requests. Delivery was prompt and we never felt stressed about flowers at any point - we knew that we were in great hands. The florals really made our colorful wedding pop and we are so grateful we chose Merkels!

f the park and it turned out even better than inspiration photos. It was one of the best parts of our wedding day. Kristin always communicates and helps you through the planning process. We are already looking to find reasons to get more flowers from Merkels! If you want A+ flowers Kristin is your girl!

picture I sent them. When I saw my bouquet for the first time, I was completely blown away. It was perfect. From our initial consult to end result, you cannot go wrong with Merkels Floral. Her initial consult was so organized and exactly what every bride needs for their special day. Thank you for making this easy for me. I had the best day ever thanks to Kristin and her team.

our wedding beautiful! I would highly recommend.

nique arrangement every time! 10/10 recommend!!!

ch people spend on floral for just one day. I had a limited budget but I didn't necessarily want that to mean skimpy floral. Kristin walked us through the process and was able to work with us to create a beautiful and impactful design that could be repurposed in several ways throughout the evening to maximize the "wow factor" including a spectacular ground floral arch--seriously I've never seen anything like it! Also, my bridal bouquet was the most beautiful floral I've ever seen. I have a distinct memory from the morning of my wedding day... We were getting ready in the bridal suite when the team started to bring in all of the bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids---and when I first saw the flowers (in all their robust, lush glory), that was the EXACT moment when it hit me, this was all actually happening! I felt like a true bride in that moment. Multiple people commented to me that everything was "Pinterest-worthy" which is a huge compliment for any bride! My mom also told me the best feedback of all, that my late grandmother (who was a florist for many years) would have adored the flowers. I knew she was smiling down on us. So yes, it was all for one day... but it was the best day of my life. I will always look back at the photos and videos and swoon at the dreaminess of it all. If you want lavish, beautiful floral with an artistic, unique touch then Merkels Floral Studio is the one for you! She will work with any budget to give you your dream floral design.

iful than I could have ever imagined, and her team was incredible. They really took my vision and made it come to life, even more than I ever could have dreamed. So many people complimented us on our flowers. I wouldn't change a thing!

on a Zoom call with me and asked all the right questions to make sure she understood my needs and vision. When my flowers arrived on my wedding day, they weren't what I expected...BUT IN THE BEST WAY. It was like Kristin knew what I wanted even more than I did. I have received endless compliments about my wedding bouquets and decor from friends, families, and colleagues. Don't miss the opportunity to support a small business and local growers in northeast Ohio!
