Meraki Custom Cakes

n a very sleek, modern yet classical double barrel wedding cake. The clean white, with the navy line and flowers, was gorgeous! None of my family or friends has ever had a wedding cake like that! We also chose Meraki because of the quality of cake and flavors. The cake was dense and flavorful and I cannot wait to order another one! Thanks, Mark!

can’t thank (or recommend) him enough!

wanted to surprise my husband with an amazing cake that captures his personality. When I contacted Mark and explained my situation and my vision for the cake he was quick to respond and worked with me to design the perfect cake within my budget (all via email). Fast forward to the wedding day, the cake was more amazing than I ever could have imagined! As awesome as it looked from the outside it was twice as good to ear! I actually preferred it over our wedding cake. My husband and I got so many compliments, and everyone loved it! Needless to say my expectations were far exceeded! You won't go wrong choosing Meraki Cakes & Bakes for your special cake!

hing I wanted was on point for my wedding day! I would go there again for other events!!

cake. Mark helped us achieve the vision we had for our cake aesthetically, and the quality/taste of the cake itself was beyond what we could have dreamed! We received multiple compliments on our cake because of the great work by Mark.

at he was looking forward to doing something different. Mark kept in contact with me on a regular basis through email on the design. I met up with him to finish designing our wedding cake a few weeks prior to the big day. We did a traditional white three tier cake, marble flavor, and snicker-doodle filling. Our Cake topper was a double heart with an infinity symbol, flowers cascaded from the second tier to the base. It was exactly what we wanted, not to mention extremely delicious. I cannot say enough good things about Mark, he works his magic in the kitchen.

ad in mind. Our wedding was a little over a month ago and people are STILL taking about the cake and how it was “the best cake they’ve ever had”! Besides just the cake, Mark is so easy to get along with and we had a blast through the whole process. I recommend him to everyone I can!!

made the day even more special with the tastes of her childhood. Everything tasted incredible! Mark was accommodating in every way. He arranged with the wedding planner for pick up of the cake in Denver for our wedding in the mountains, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I recommend Mark whole heartedly. You couldn't ask for a better baker!

wanted. Never once worried about communication either. The owner is great at keeping you updated and was always on time.

er mind set, he was able to create exactly what we imagined. He was excited along with us to work with the collection of glass platters we collected from the antique mart, making the presentation beautiful. Pricing was very reasonable! Mark remained in contact as the date approached, was really fun to work with and went above/beyond in set up. The poppyseed/lavender cake was amazingly delicious!

he most beautiful turquoise flower on top. Your cake was a masterpiece and everyone raved about the taste and appearance! In fact, it has been a month and our family members are still talking about it. We froze a couple of pieces to eat on our first anniversary, but we both agreed that there is little chance it will last even half that long! We decided that instead, we will just have to order another cake for our anniversary… Thank you again, your cake was truly the highlight of our wedding day! We will absolutely be recommending you to all of our friends and anyone who does (or doesn’t) ask!

were seriously ALL delicious! My friend brought them up from Denver and Mark was very sweet in packaging them tightly so they would look amazing through the travels. You don't know how excited I was when I woke up in the morning and there were a few leftover - who said you can't eat cupcakes for breakfast??? :-)

red any questions we had with grace. Our favorites were the Red Velvet and Pumpkin, but the vanilla and chocolate were a total hit as well (so so yummy)!! His prices are very fair, and one of our best investments for our wedding reception. We give Meraki Cakes four thumbs up!!

es with the request, and Mark was happy to accept the challenge! He madeus two identical looking cakes try— grandmother’s recipe and the recipe he generally uses. After a few bites, my husband pointed at one of the cakes and said “that’s grandma’s.” We we’re so happy that mark was able to replicate the cake! Not only did it taste like grandmother’s, it also looked exactly what I invisioned—elegant, with beautiful calla lilies! Meraki Cakes and Bakes’ creations are true works of art!
