Avoid this place. Go to a smaller, more personalized, local shop. The Oakbrook Terrace store is minutes from my house, so we thought we'd use them for our wedding formalwear need...
s. We called ahead and said we wanted to stop in the same day for some style and color advice and that we wanted suggestions. They said it was not a problem and we did not need an appointment.
We drove over immediately. The store wasn't overly busy. There were a few shoppers. We were not greeted. No one seemed eager to help us, even though a number of employees appeared to be available. One young man finally assisted us, but he really did not offer any guidance. He didn't seem to know what he was doing and he didn't consult any of his co-workers. Basically, if I could tell him exactly what I wanted, he would order it. No suggestions. No advice. No expertise. We told him that we were specifically looking for suggestions. We asked about the fashion trends. He pointed to the five mannequins and said to pick one of those styles (two suits, three tuxes). In tuxes, they had light gray, dark gray, black, navy. It was very cookie-cutter. I'm sure if we had used them, the guys would have looked fine, but we wanted something more personal and refined. Men's Warehouse felt like a big-box store in terms of its service and limited offerings. We ultimately left and tried a smaller, locally owned shop. What a difference! That place clearly wanted to earn our business. We were so thrilled at the color and style advice the small shop provided. It was the absolute opposite of the impersonal, inexperienced, aloof Men's Warehouse experience. If you are planning a wedding and need to dress more than one person, treat yourself by going elsewhere.
Men’s Wearhouse was so accommodating to my husband and I as we made preparations to rent the suits there. They offered advice and assistance with so much professionalism! They even...
had a new navy blue suit coming it out just prior to our wedding that we were able to use :)
Wonderful service. They were always available to answer questions. Most tailoring was done while you wait. The colors matched David's bridal bridesmaid dresses. Changes were ma...
de easily. The only thing I would had a slight issue with was some colors had a solid option and some did not. For example, my colors were coral and mint. The coral had a "solid" tie with some texture or lines in it and the mint was solid. I had to buy solid coral ties to match the solid mint ties. Great service!
They were wonderful to work with. They really worked with us to find the style they want and they were easy to work with since we had groomsman from all over. The app was so conven...
ient! Pick-up and drop-off was painless. I would definitely use their service again.
Everything turned out fine but there were some hiccups along the way. First meeting with them wasn't the most professional experience.
When we arrived they had the date of our wedd...
ing incorrect in the system. Before leaving, they assured us they would get corrected. Half of the groomsmen tuxes came in on the wrong date and the other half came in on the correct date. Made for a stressful experience.
My husband and his groomsmen all got their tuxes through Men's Wearhouse and they looked excellent! Everything came in on time and in the correct colors we had selected. Their staf...
f was mostly accommodating and friendly! The pricing was a great value for the quality of suit as well!
My only negatives were based on confusion about fitting and a couple experiences where the customer service could have been better. My husband's vest came in a size too big, which was a bit stressful a couple days before the wedding. However, they managed to get the correct size quickly. We also went in a couple times to review the order and who had reserved their tux and who had not and the staff was not exactly on point. They were confused about how to find the reservation, what colors we ordered, and they seemed short staffed in general.
Besides those instances, we were happy with everything! If you want the best look possible for your tuxes and suits at your wedding, I cannot recommend them enough!
We rented my son's bow tie from the Champaign store and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The pickup and return process was simple. I only wish the return would have ...
been 48 hours, not 24. We had a bit of difficulty getting it back since the day after the wedding was very hectic as well. My husband has also bought a suit from here and they are amazing to work with. Thank you!
The mens wearhouse lost a tux the day before the wedding for a guy who was flying in from out of town! However they did find it the same day and went and got it.
They went above and beyond for us!
LOVED the look, the price and the kickbacks from this place! He got a free suit from this place even after the wedding because of so many groomsmen involved and got tons of coupon...
s aside from that. My husband is a picky shopper and loves the best bang for his buck and he loves Men's Wearhouse. Every time we go in there we get great service and great prices!
They're basically the only option so...
They were so helpful and had locations near all of our groomsmen!
We ordered 12 tuxedos from this location. Everything was going smoothly, however, when the groom went to pick-up his tux it was extremely large on him. Luckily they were able to g...
et it fitted correctly and we picked it up the following day. But then, once we saw everyone in the tuxes on the day of the wedding we realized that the store never changed our order to have everyone in the same color vest and bow tie. So, our fathers and three of the groomsmen were in a different colored vest and tie. Since it was the day of the wedding when we discovered the issue there was nothing we could do to correct the mistake.
Great
We used the sarasota, fl store, but that wasn't a choice. There service here was very good. However, the vests did NOT fit. And they look awkward on our pictures! S guys please tak...
