Since 2020, Melissa has been there to capture some of the most meaningful moments of our lives. From our very first session together, I knew she had an incredible gift for turning ...

fleeting moments into timeless memories. Her photographs have told our story — beautifully, authentically, and with so much heart! 🥹♥️ So when I got engaged, there was never a question in my mind about who would capture our wedding day. In fact, I reached out to her the very next day after we got engaged because I couldn’t imagine anyone else behind the lens on one of the most important days of our lives. Over the years, she has been part of so many milestones — from sessions that included our beloved pups (who mean the world to us), engagement photos, our intimate civil wedding, and our unforgettable destination wedding in Casa de Campo, including the Welcome Party + Rehearsal Dinner! 🥰♥️ Each event has been photographed with such care, creativity, and emotion. Every time we receive our photos, we’re reminded of just how blessed we are to have found someone so talented and genuinely passionate about what she does. My husband, who had never taken professional photos before, felt completely at ease with her from the start — which says so much about her approach. She has this natural ability to make you feel comfortable, confident, and seen. She doesn’t just take photos; she listens, she understands, and she brings out the best in everyone in front of her camera. Every single person who has seen our photos has commented on how beautifully they tell the story of our day — every laugh, tear, and tender moment thoughtfully preserved. What makes Melissa truly exceptional is how she captures not just what things looked like, but what they felt like. Her work radiates emotion, light, and love in a way that words can hardly describe. She is truly gifted behind the lens! Looking back on everything she’s captured for us — and all the memories still to come — I can honestly say we’ve not only found a photographer for life, but also a lifelong sweet friend. Someone who has shared in our most special moments, celebrated alongside us, and given us memories we’ll treasure forever. To anyone considering booking Melissa: DO IT! Without hesitation. You will have no regrets. Her work is timeless, her heart is genuine, and her dedication is unmatched! With all our love & gratitude, Katherine + Panteleey 🤍✨ And our sweet pups 🫶🏽 Pookie + Bonbon + Poochie 🐶🐾

Melissa was truly one of the MVPs of our wedding. She played a huge role in keeping us on schedule and helping us stay calm on the day. My husband and I are not particularly "photo...

people" (having never hired a professional photographer), but Melissa made us feel very comfortable and not awkward in front of the camera. She's fun, professional, and incredibly talented. We have hundreds of STUNNING photos--it has been impossible to pick only a few favorites. If you're getting married, you need to hire Melissa!

I first saw Melissa’s work on Pinterest seven years ago and instantly fell in love. At the time I did not even have a boyfriend or know who my future husband would be, but I knew w...

ho be photographing my wedding. She was the first vendor I booked after my husband proposed, and from our first FaceTime call to the day we received our wedding photos, she was nothing but warm, professional, and all-around-amazing. I was extremely anxious on my wedding day (I’m not the kind of person who enjoys dancing/walking down the aisle in front of 120 people lol), but Melissa had such a calm non-anxious presence and this helped a lot. She was great about giving instructions for posing, so we never felt awkward, and she was incredible organized with great attention to detail. There wasn’t a single photo I asked for while planning the day that she didn’t capture, and every single one was stunning. So stunning in fact, Atlantic Ave Magazine put us on their front cover! She was early on the morning of the wedding and wonderful about communication. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone getting married, you will not regret it!

onal photos from both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding day, but has gone above and beyond the whole time while working together. The photos were everything my husband and I dreamed of, all crisp, bright, airy and so natural! Furthermore, Melissa was always willing to meet with me whenever, and was always available for a phone call/ text when I needed wedding planning advice! Working with her felt so easy and my husband and I felt so comfortable while she was photographing us. You know you have a great photography team when your family continues to compliment them and their exceptional work! She takes her time to get to know the couples she works with and it makes the world of a difference! We can't wait to continue to work with Melissa for all of our big life moments and would recommend her to anyone looking to capture their once in a lifetime special moments. In addition to walking away with absolutely spectacular wedding photography, I have gained a friend! Thank you Melissa for helping with our wedding and making the entire process so enjoyable! 10/10!

Words can not even express how grateful I am for Melissa! I am a bridal hairstylist, and have worked with many photographers, so I know what to compare too. Melissa is so talented ...

and every photo she takes is "Refreshing" to admire. I have done many photoshoots with her, but my favorite of all was the impromptu one we did in the Outer Banks on what would have been mine and my fiancé's wedding day. Hurricane Dorian unfortunately canceled our wedding on Sept 7th (and 8th, we were so desperate trying to make it work!) which is now postponed until the end of November. My florist had messaged me that Sunday, Sept 8th and sent me a video of all of my beautiful florals that were delivered...I was heartbroken for them to go to waste. Then I had an idea! Melissa had flown into VA from FL and was waiting on standby to see if our wedding would happen. I called her up and said "My florist said she would set up a styled photoshoot with my wedding florals, would you want to come take photos of us (my fiancé Jimmy and I) on the beach?" With no hesitation she said YES! And drove 4 hours to the OBX and took absolutely stunning photos of us, on what would have been our wedding day. For a bride whose wedding was ruined by a hurricane, this lifted my sprits right up! Do I need to say anything more?....Now go book her for your wedding! You will not regret it!

"First and foremost, I met Melissa initially for my engagement photoshoot and to be honest I instantly fell in love with her personality! She is truly one of the sweetest and kind ...

hearted people I have met. With that being said, I am a firm believer that I am NOT photogenic at the very least, so I was blown away with how much I loved EVERY ONE of my photos! Her ability to compose photos blows me away! Melissa knows how make her subjects relax and have fun; which definitely shows in her photos! Her eye for detail, perfect angles and positions creates the most flattering shots, that even the most pickiest girl (me) love! Honestly, I love her work so much that I am flying her to shoot for my wedding in Texas! I HIGHLY recommend Melissa!

Where to even begin..? Finding Melissa as a photographer was such a blessing. One day I was lucky enough to come across her page on Instagram, and as soon as I saw it, I knew that ...

if I ever got married I wanted her to be my photographer. Lucky me I got proposed to a few months after that, and of course I called her immediately. She did my engagement session and just recently my wedding in NC. I don’t have words to describe how amazing all of our photos turn out. Melissa is just so talented, and a true professional, and my hubby and I loved having her as our wedding photographer. Thank you so much for everything Melissa, I hope we can continue to work with you when our family starts growing.

rapher. I first came across Melissa’s work from a friend of mine and it was love at first sight. I knew that I had to have her as my photographer; I just needed to get proposed to first :) Our engagement photos were done by her in March 2018 and we honestly fell in love with every picture. The thing with Melissa is that she really knows how to make each couple so comfortable. She has an amazing eye for detail as well as angles that compliments each person. We had awesome direction during this shoot that we just had to have her as our wedding photographer. As the wedding got closer and closer, Melissa checks in on her bride and for me, as stressed as I was getting, she gave me so much more ease. She truly cares for each of her clients that you become friends with Melissa. She helped us structure our timeline to guarantee the best photo opportunities for the big day. She gave me so much excitement with the day coming around the corner. Our wedding was a large event but that did not phase Melissa. We could count on Melissa to remember where everyone was supposed to be, what to do, and where to go, because she was on top of it all! There were plenty of small mishaps on the day of and she gave new solutions that end up being amazing results. We plan to use Melissa for every precious event in our lives. A good photographer makes memories last forever, so choose Melissa! She does a stunning job in taking photos, but she even better at being a true friend.
