About this vendor
In the heart of Keyport, NJ, a story began to unfold over eight years ago – a tale interwoven with passion, creativity, and the simple joy of sweet indulgences. This is the story of Mela’s Sweets, lovingly named after its creator, Mirna, who specializes in wedding cakes.
For Mirna, baking wasn’t just a hobby or a profession. It was an art form, a dance of flavors, and a canvas of dreams. Each cake, with its intricate designs and exquisite taste, was a reflection of a personal journey – an encapsulation of memories, emotions, and the sheer joy of celebrations.
Included in the wedding packages are options for fully customizable wedding cake designs as well as custom faux wedding cakes. For the faux cakes, you will have a delicious sheet cake to serve to your loved ones. These are great for show-stopping designs that might not be feasible for real cakes. Cake toppers are also available; choose from either the standard classic option or a personalized topper. Mela’s Sweets will also deliver and set up your delicious treats to ensure your cake looks fantastic on your big day. A complimentary tasting session is available. Should you wish, Mela’s Sweets also offers a small professionally wrapped cake for you to take home and freeze in place of the top tier of your wedding cake.
