Melani is the best photographer! Not only is she super talented, but she is caring and sweet. She wanted to meet us before the wedding and traveled over 1.5 hrs to do so! She also ...
went a day early to scout our wedding venue so she was familiar with the landscape in order to get the best photos.
We were so happy with our decision to book her. She is super thorough in her work and takes her job very seriously. The photos came out amazing and she texted me the day after our wedding to send a few photos before we got them all back. Would 1000% recommend!
Words cannot explain how thankful we are for Melani and her team for capturing our special day. We also had the privilege of her photographing our engagement session where we had s...
o much fun strolling through Central Park. When our wedding day came, we knew we would be in good hands with Melani. But her and her team surpassed every expectation we could ever imagined! She went above and beyond the entire day. She captured every moment and detail we wanted. On a day that is often filled with nerves, Melani had such a calming presence that helped to put our minds at ease. It is hard to put into words how amazing, stunning, beautiful the pictures are! The ability for her to capture the love, emotion, joy, and happiness through these pictures is absolutely incredible. We can't stop looking at the pictures!!! We would recommend Melani 1000x over! Thank you thank you thank you Melani!!!
Choosing to work with Melani and her team was hands-down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. From our initial emails all the way through receiving our photos, she was ...
a true professional and I felt confident knowing that I was in excellent hands for such an important element of the wedding (photos are the things that last forever, after all! Hopefully the marriage, too. :)). Her calm demeanor and fun energy allowed the entire wedding party to feel confident in front of the camera, no easy task. Melani’s attention to detail and unique ability to get the most perfect shots, both posed and candid, made working with her so special. I recommend her and her team wholeheartedly.
Your search stops here! Professional, accommodating, friendly, puts you at ease, and gives you tremendous support from start to finish. Highly recommend- goes above and beyond.

I went from a bridezilla to an elegant and calm bride all thanks to her!
If you want the absolute best photographer on the biggest day of your life, you HAVE to book Melani! She was referred to us by a friend and as soon as we met her and saw her talent...
, we didn't need to look any further. From the intimate details of her shots, to her incredible talent for capturing the most fabulous moments throughout the day blew us away. Her flawless attention to detail was showcased throughout our entire wedding portfolio of pictures. We thought we were looking at pictures out of a bridal magazine but they were from our wedding. She scouted areas before-hand for pictures and we decided on one museum and one outdoor barn shot on our way to the reception around 5:30 PM where the lighting was just gorgeous! She is so sweet and professional and her talent is incredible! Our families and friends were amazed by her level of expertise throughout the whole day and night. We had a very large bridal party of 34 and that group shot she captured of all of us, is absolutely breathtaking!! Trust me, you will brag about her and your wedding pictures for the rest of your life to anyone and everyone...I promise!! Thank you Melani for everything that you did; our experience was nothing short of amazing!
Melani, Julia and Jacek were an unbelievable team of photographers at my wedding at the Riverhouse! They captured the most beautiful images and were wonderful to work with. Melani ...
got us to take such gorgeous creative photos and we can't wait to see the album! I highly recommend Melani Lust!
Her accolades and accomplishments speak for themselves, but Melani is simply the best! My husband and I have never considered ourselves especially photogenic and were very nervous ...
to meet Melani and have our first experience with her - our engagement photos. We were on the fence before the shoot but now highly recommend doing an engagement session. Although an additional fee, they turned out so beautifully and really put our minds at ease for our wedding photos after our "practice round"!
The day after our wedding, we received at least ten 'sneak peak' photos, each of which are incredibly gorgeous on their own, with the balance of photos coming 4-6 weeks after the event. We can't wait to see the rest and have already received so many compliments on the photos as well as Melani's & her helpers' interactions with guests at the wedding.
Needless to say, we are so thankful we made the best decision in hiring Melani. Not only does she clearly have an artistic gift, she is a beautiful and uplifting person to be around too.
I can't say enough good things about Melani Lust and her team. From our initially meeting, I knew that Melani was someone who took great pride in her work and was fully committed ...
to capturing the most beautiful pictures for her clients. Leading up to the wedding, she always touching base with me, ensuring that all the details were in place so we would get exactly what we wanted the day of the wedding. We went back and forth about a day of timeline until it ended up being perfect. The day of the wedding, Melani and her team did not stop for a second, capturing everything with beauty! She was extremely concerned with making sure we got every shot we wanted and even would ask periodically if there was anything in particular we wanted that we hadn't shot yet. Our pictures we absolutely amazing. She has an ability to fall into the background and allow you to be natural and relaxed, creating beautiful shots. We couldn't be happier! Thank you for these amazing memories!
I cannot stop looking at Melani's pictures from our wedding. She is truly an artist and beyond talented - there are *too many* beautiful pictures to choose from! She was a pleasure...

she was available for my day! By far the BEST vendor I worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process.
The images she captured are breathtaking. Her eye sees precious vignettes of not only the bride and groom but of all our loved guests. Our day was documented beautifully and we have more favorite images then we ever hoped for! The best decision we made was booking Melani.
Nothing more I can say than fantastic, fabulous, superb, wonderful, stunning. Without a doubt, the best decision I made when planning my wedding was using Melani Lust Photography. ...
She went above and beyond to create a stress-free day. Highly, highly recommend - not only will you get the most beautiful photographs imaginable, you will feel important, special, and cared for. And did I mention that her photographs are unbeatable? Simply stunning.
Full disclosure - Melani is a kinswoman of mine who lives in CT. I always knew that if I got married I desperately wanted her to photograph the wedding.

ees through to the soul and captures it. Her style is beautiful and evocative, timeless yet contemporary. She does what she calls 'creatives' with the couple, where you go somewhere meaningful to the couple an she captures just the two of you there. She is also uncanny at capturing that moment with your grandmother in law at the ceremony or the wonderful body language between you and your father in law as you dance. My mother is notorious for not photographing well - Melani took the best shot I've ever seen of her.
As others have said, she has the most incredible energy and a buoyant personality - which makes everything a breeze, especially getting the formal shots and groupings a breeze.
Melani is the absolute best. She captures the most beautiful moments, and brings out the best in every person she photographs. Everyone at my wedding commented on how the photogr...
apher was the hardest working person there…she was running around trying not to miss a moment. She also included engagement photos in my package, which she went completely over and above the normal call of duty! We ended up taking pictures starting in the afternoon, during sunset and into the evening – we changed locations, clothing and the result was perfection.
I absolutely cherish my photos. I love looking through them and reliving the night. She is so easy to work and extremely professional. Melani makes you feel like you are her only client, even though she is booked every weekend.
We will definitely be keeping Melani in our life over the years as our family grows
