We were a couple that was engaged in 2019 and moved our date three times. Meg was so gracious in moving dates with us and working with us. I met with Meg prior to the wedding to ...
get together a timeline and go over anything remaining she needed from us. On wedding day Meg was right on time for photos. She took some getting ready shots and we moved to the venue to get some more shots with a better atmosphere than the hotel room. Meg moved us right along down our timeline and kept us on schedule with photos. She did a great job navigating on the fly changes in photos. Meg did a wonderful job navigating us as the bride and groom and posing us for what I know will be amazing shots. There was a second photographer named Rebecca and she was also amazing. She got some great photos inside the reception while we were outside taking photos. Many people mentioned to me how pleased they were when they asked for a photo they would take it for them. Meg was incredible in dealing with us when we wanted to see the photos after since that isn’t customary. I can’t wait to see the beautiful pictures. I would highly recommend Meg.
Meg is absolutely amazing. She is a joy to have on your wedding day, an incredibly talented, and amazing photographer, and genuinely just a kind person. You will NOT go wrong booki...
ng Meg Bowman Photography.
Amazing!!! Her photos are gorgeous. Can't wait for our wedding session since our engagement session was more than I could have hoped for <3
Meg Bowman was the photographer for our wedding. I loved how she asked what we wanted to see in our wedding photos. This makes each wedding she does have its own unique photos. ...
A second photographer came to the wedding, which was great because there were shots taken from all different angles and nothing was missed. Meg has an upbeat, enthusiastic personality, and she communicates well! Her photographs are superior with vivid colors, clarity and tons of details. Meg Bowman Photography also has many different options for displaying the final products! It was neat to see all of the different options and different styles of photo shoots displayed in her studio, which located in the historic down town of Wooster. I highly recommend Meg Bowman Photography!
Meg was absolutely fabulous - low stress and high quality! (Please read the whole review because it matters!!) The package we chose for our wedding day included an engagement photo...
session, which gave us a great opportunity to meet Meg and get to know her before the big day! We were so comfortable with her and she was always so pleasant. Meg went above and beyond to get us all the great shots we didn't know we wanted - she's climbed onto roofs, laid down on concrete for the best angle. She'll push your feet's limit for photos (and you'll realize your shoes weren't that comfortable at all) but when she gives you hundreds of beautifully angled, lighted, and both posed and candid photos, there is nothing about uncomfortable shoes that you'll remember (except that you wished you could have been more gracious about it). Meg took amazing photos inside a 100+ year old church that can be a bear to photograph due to its construction prior to the invention of the lightbulb (almost literally), but the photos came out great and highlighted all the beautiful architecture and paintings in the church and made us look like we had a royal wedding.
Meg had a second photographer (Dustin) who was a star as well - we were able then to have one photographer with the guys getting ready and Meg with us (bridal party) to get all the desired shots - especially that the bridal party got ready at the church and the guys at the hotel.
The photographers were obviously extremely invested in getting great shots - not just talking the talk, and they would even wait for the sun to disappear behind clouds to relieve the darkening shadows or have us turn 6 inches to get a more flattering angle. We loved working with them because they seemed to love to work with us!
Meg and Dustin were flexible and stayed an additional half hour, plus one song because they said it was "too good to not take pictures of" and they were prompt at the start of our time. They had no problems splitting up or following us to multiple locations for photos. They came to Akron from Wooster and made us feel like we were a priority. These are photos we will love to look at and show off for the rest of our lives.
We look forward to future celebrations and life milestones to be able to work with Meg and Dustin again! Thanks for capturing the memories!

ere so pleased that we booked Meg for our wedding photography as well. We had a serious family situation that caused us to decide to move our wedding date up several months. Meg went entirely out of her way to photograph our wedding day on very short notice. Our wedding photos are out-of-this-world amazing. We also recently had some holiday shots done and can't wait to see the results! My husband and I always feel so comfortable with Meg and confident in her abilities. She will do whatever necessary to get the perfect shot, and has a great eye for capturing special moments. You can relax and trust her, she really knows what she's doing. Meg is very easy to talk to, so don't hesitate to tell her exactly what you want or what you are thinking, she'll make it work!

rned out and how Meg perfectly captured our day. First of all, Meg is the sweetest--so easy to work with, flexible, and had great ideas when I picked her brain on a few items. Since she is experienced, she A) takes fantastic photos and B) knows tons about weddings in general, and the local venues. She helped everything run so smoothly.
Perhaps the best thing about Meg (and her second shooter, Luke, who was awesome as well) was that she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and wasn't put off when we resisted just one or two of her posing suggestions. We ended up with photos that really represent us and are beautiful, to boot. Some of my favorite photos came at her suggestion, like when she had everyone gather on the dance floor at the reception so we got great (and funny) photos of us with all our guests. She even climbed all over the chairs so she could get a perfect overhead angle. I only wish we had her longer so we had more photos from our super fun reception.
Our families really enjoyed working with her as well, and it was easy to see that she had experience corralling and organizing family for efficient formal shots. Couldn't recommend her more!
Meg Bowman was the photographer for my daughters Christmas wedding in 2014. She was easy to work with and kept in touch prior to the wedding, asking questions and making suggestio...

e it possible for me to have her as my wedding photographer! I believe everything happens for a reason and that she was brought into my life for a good reason. She is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed when choosing her to be your photographer. She has become my friend and I hope we know each other for many, many years!! Thank you so much for capturing the most important day of my life and doing all you did beyond the photography for us! 🙂 ❤
Meg has been my photographer since my engagement session in 2013. My engagement pictures came out amazing so there was no question she was going to do my wedding. Which she did, an...
d all my pictures came out breathtaking. My wedding was in 2014 and I still look for any chance to show people my wedding pictures. Meg is one of those gems where you recommend her because she's awesome but then you kind of don't want to because you want to keep her all to yourself. Flash forward to present day she has now photographed my newborn and we have our 6 month session already booked. I'll be honest once you hire her you become addicted to her work and she grows with you as your family grows. Make the best choice and choose a Meg as your photographer.
Between our snowy engagement shoot, our awesome wedding photos, and just recently our Christmas mini session, we are never disappointed when it comes to using Meg as our photograph...
er. She is so creative and goes beyond her "job" to really get to know her clients and strives to give you every thing you want in your photos. We plan to use her for all of our photography needs, and you are truly missing out if you don't do the same!

well and often, and the expertise she has is unmatched. Not only did she do such a phenomenal job with ideas for photos and making sure everything I wanted was captured, but she was so incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. We will absolutely be recommending Meg to our family and friends, and will be so happy to use her services in the future.

pecial moments from someone truly special and gifted. Meg was that person for us. Meg was SO fun and such a wonderful part of our special day. She made not only myself but everyone involved in our wedding so relaxed. It truly was like having your friend photograph your wedding. She was so open to new concepts and always had great and creative ideas. My husband gave all of his groomsman Louisville slugger bats with each of their names engraved on them - so we made an impromptu stop at a baseball field in a local park between the ceremony and reception. It was so fun - and the pictures really captured who we were and the atmosphere of our special day. I am constantly getting compliments on our wedding pictures. Not only were they beautiful but Meg herself got them to us so fast - it truly was perfect! I highly highly recommend Meg for any of your photography needs!
