andscape. The Pegasus Fountain is beautiful and was a marvelous space for the wedding ceremony. The self-guided tour during cocktail hour was fantastic with the wedding guest learning many historic facts from docents stationed on each floor. Dining in the Christopher Wren Dining Room was an incredible experience with all the ornate and elegant features. There was plenty of space in the Dining room to socialize with guests throughout the multicourse dinner. All the food served was delicious and exactly what had been requested. There was plenty of space for dancing in the Ballroom and the acoustics were wonderful. The wedding guests expressed how fantastic the whole experience was and positively commented on the fun they had. Our Meadow Brook Hall Event Coordinator was extremely pleasant, thoroughly engaged, made great suggestions, and kept all tasks on track especially on the wedding day. A Meadow Brook Hall wedding is truly an amazing experience!

The Christopher wren room during dinner was one of the nicest rooms in the mansion and the perfect setting for dinner. Guests had the chance to have a tour of the house during cocktail hour and had great things to say about it. The food was outstanding. The dinner was super important to us and it did not disappoint; the plating was beautiful and it tasted incredible. We got so many compliments from guests about the hors d'oeuvres and the entrees! Special shout out to Emma Johnson! She was so organized and helped us through every step of the way, both on the day and through the planning process. She made sure we felt comfortable and confident throughout the night and was truly the best venue coordinator we could have asked for!

She helped us to understand how the ceremony would usually go and what our options were. Kindly, warmly, patiently. On the wedding day, we all were so relaxed, knowing that Emma was gently checking everything and nudging all including the staff and us, to do what we had rehearsed to do! It was a smashing success. . Brooke brought us signature drinks and hors d’oeuvres while we were taking photos, so we didn’t completely miss our cocktail hour. The whole staff was amazing to our guests, which contributes to a great guest experience.  The year and a half of communication with them was easy as they were very responsive and accommodating. The food was amazing. Our favorites were the coconut chicken and bacon wrapped scallops apps and the braised beef short rib entree. One tip we would recommend is they allow you to pick your food choices after you do your tasting and maintain the pricing from when you signed your contract. For us, we signed in 2024 and chose our menu. We then did our food tasting in 2025 and any changes to the menu were subject to the new year’s prices.  So many guests couldn’t stop raving how great the wedding was. We would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you Meadow Brook Hall!

Luana our coordinator made the outdoor ceremony we wanted happen after tracking the rain, starting a few minutes early, and finishing the ceremony minutes before a downpour started. She was thoughtful, genuinely happy to help, and made sure we were taken care of - bringing food and drinks during cocktail hour, making sure we had drinks before our dinner started, and keeping us on track. Her hand was in everything without being too much, and every interaction with staff was pleasant and kind. I would recommend Meadow Brook again and again, and we cannot wait to visit and relive all our favorite moments!!

There were countless special details to take in, making the entire event feel like a destination wedding right here in Michigan. A special shoutout to Brooke, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure every personal detail was perfect and accommodated our photoshoots beautifully despite the limited daylight in November. Every area of the grounds and facilities is the perfect setting and backdrop. The staff were all courteous, accommodating, and served drinks and food to perfection. The food and cocktails were all outrageously delicious. We were impressed especially during our event tasting and the chef was proud to explain where they source their meats. Every detail is curated and executed flawlessly. We are so appreciative of Morgan and the rest of the MBH staff for making our wedding the best day of our lives!

Our coordinator, Luana, was helpful answering our questions, guiding us through the process, and giving suggestions for the setup. Unfortunately, for our wedding day, the weather turned from sunny to rainy 15 mins before the ceremony had to start, but Luana did everything she could to try to still hold the ceremony outdoors and it was up to us to make the final call. Given it continued to rain on and off, staff very quickly arranged indoor ceremony and we were happy with how little disruption/delays that caused. Our guests very were pleased with our wedding. They complimented on the venue overall (gorgeous house), service, food, and drinks. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone.

There were several points through the night that Luana sought out myself and my husband to make sure we had water or a special drink if we needed, which was always needed since we kept forgetting to drink or take breaks through the day with all the excitement. Luana even made sure I had a special heart shaped stirrer in the drink she brought me (my bridesmaids informed me that they noticed her going above and beyond to make it extra special!) over all, the price was very competitive for the area and we were able to work within our budget for a magical and special winter wedding celebration. The ballroom was such a unique and beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and the dancing after our seated dinner in the dining room. Every one of our guests has told us that it was the most unique and beautiful wedding they’ve attended. The open time to tour during cocktail hour was icing on the cake. 10/10 recommend, the only setback we had was that no flash photography is allowed in the building so we had to find photographers that were comfortable shooting in the conditions and had to adjust certain expectations for how photos would look. Over all, we had no issues on the day of the wedding and it was made a magical experience thanks to Meadow Brook Hall and their amazing team!

y the time we got back to our car. We were treated very well at our tasting and were introduced to Morgan, who took on our account from there. In spite of repeated assurances that they will handle everything and it is all under control, I was still skeptical. Nevertheless, my fears were unfounded and Morgan and her team truly delivered. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, even with last second dinner changes. From early conversations and consultations, through rehearsal, set up, dinner (with dietary curveballs), and tear down. Everyone was courteous, professional and truly put us and our guests first. Morgan did such a great job - I would trust her with my life!

The food and beverages were INCREDIBLE. We had guests at our wedding asking where they could have the food again! I am still dreaming of the hors d’oeuvres and craft cocktails…SO GOOD!
