We used Mayfield for our wedding flowers and it was a complete disaster. After our first meeting, a year prior to our wedding we were excited to work with Lani and she said she cou...
ld make our vision happen and within our budget.
We were told they don't do contracts and 6 weeks before our wedding all of a sudden Lani said it would cost much more for our vision than we had agreed upon. At that point it was too late to change to another vendor. We had to cut multiple things and downsize a lot but were still hopeful it would look nice.
Lani promised us she would be at the venue at 9am on our wedding day and had cleared her entire schedule to be there to set up. The day of she texted my wife at 9:15 saying she was still at the shop gathering the flowers. After that she was unreachable and didn't respond to any calls or texts. She finally showed up close to noon.
With our wedding ceremony quickly approaching, our family and bridal party had to urge her to set up quickly, to which Lani said "you're putting too much pressure on me" It was going so slowly that the groomsmen and two staff members from our venue had to help her set up. We literally had groomsmen with hoses and arranging flowers. This was the most stressful part of our wedding day.
The flowers looked okay, but definitely a paired down version of what we discussed. A few days after I spoke to the owner, who seemed to acknowledge they missed the mark here but he wouldn't apologize to me. At least Lani did apologize to my wife over text. I thought a full refund would be appropriate for what had happened but they only gave us back less than 30% of the total cost.
We love to support local businesses around Tucson but we felt extremely disrespected and as if they didn't care about one of the most important days of our lives.
Mayfield Florist provided the floral arrangements for our April 2024 wedding and did an outstanding job. They were easy to work with, listened to my vision, and brought it to life ...
even more beautifully than I could have imagined! The whole process, from design to setup, went seamlessly. Everyone at Mayfield is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about florals, and the designers are incredibly talented at putting together arrangements. They went above and beyond to provide great service and beautiful flowers, which lasted long past the wedding day. We cannot recommend Mayfield enough for any floral needs!

From the very first time that I called Mayfield they were really helpful. I do not know anything about flowers and luckily the person on the other end knew exactly what they talkin...
g about. Mayfield was super professional and completed everything we asked in a timely manor. Our photographer commented to me how great the boutonnieres looked and how well put together they were. We had specific colors request for the flowers (blue and purple) Mayfield did a fantastic job at honoring our requests.
Very long story short, service was terrible but flowers were beautiful. At our first meeting I really liked Olin and thought he understood what we were looking for. We met six mo...
nths before the wedding and it was his suggestion that we meet a month before the wedding to touch base, make sure colors hadn't changed and at that time he would know for sure what would be in season. Great idea! So a little more than a month out, I called and made an appointment with him to touch base. When we walked in, Olin seemed caught off guard and unprepared for our meeting. When we were reviewing what we had spoken about months prior, I mentioned that I didn't want a certain flower and I was hoping to have lighter shades of "filler greenery." He was visibly frustrated that his vision did not align with mine. I came back a couple weeks later and met with the manager Lani because I had a bad feeling Olin did not understand what we were looking for. Lani assured me she would oversee everything and she wrote down what flowers in particular we wanted to see in the bouquets. Three days before the wedding Olin asked to meet with me to just do a last minute review as some things weren't "adding up." The day he suggest we meet was my actual wedding day so I lost complete confidence in him since he forgot when we were getting married! The DAY BEFORE my wedding I went into the store and low and behold, the flowers were wrong. It took speaking to the owner, Greg, to get things straightened out. Every aspect of my wedding was smooth sailing and fun and I could not have been less stressed out... except when it came to the flowers. Now at the end of the day, the flowers were beautiful! Truly, they were stunning, I could not have been happier and they were a great value. The boutonnieres were not the correct color but they were fine nonetheless. Now was that because of all the hassle, stress, confusion and fuss leading up to the wedding or was that how they would have originally turned out? Hard to say... If you do pick Mayfield just don't go with Olin or Lani.
I really enjoyed working with Greg at Mayfield. He is passionate and the whole group really knows what they are doing. We only hit one hiccup: they mixed up my order for flowers f...

Cheryl did a fantastic job with the flowers. The centerpiece my roommate took home lasted for a week afterwards. The bouquets all still looked great at the end of the night. Gre...

I have always used Mayfields for all my flower beds and I have always known they would do my wedding. Greg and his family run such an amazing business and his staff are of the high...
est quality. They went above and beyond what I expected. I provided a large antique birdcage, and Iris, the designer, did the most amazing sculpteral piece. Again, I cannot say enough good things about them!!
The florist really listened to what I wanted in my bouquet but also gave suggestions of what she thought would work and wouldn't work. The flowers arrived the day of the wedding an...
d stayed fresh for many days after. They also used lace I provided to wrap the bridesmaid's bouquet's which gave a personal touch. They were a little hard to get in touch with but other than that everything went very smooth. Would definitely use them again.

We did not use too many flowers in our wedding, but the ones we had were beautiful. I was expecting the price to be higher for what we got. We called to make changes a couple of ti...

The flowers for my wedding were exactly how I had envisioned them. This is because they took the time at Mayfield to sit down and discuss what I wanted, what was available, and ho...
w we could work together to put together exatly what I wanted at a reasonable rate. There were certain items that they told me would be less expensive elsewhere and that I could bring them in and even gave me suggestions on where to find them. I knew that if I had any questions or concerns that they would be more than happy to talk to me in person :)
My flowers were perfect! The florist i worked with knew exactly what i wanted. My exact words were, "I want tasteful inexpensive flowers, no carnations though. I want greens nd p...

Mayfield was pretty awesome. We met with several other florists and I was at the point where I had been starting to zone out from having so many appointments so close together...We...
ll anyways mayfield gave me a vision. I talked to them several times and we got a great price. All you military brides don't forget to ask about your military discount! The only thing was I was a little disappointed with the placement of the bear grass in my bouquet. Other than that they were fresh and beautiful. I really liked working with Mayfield and Cheryl.
We use Mayfield every time a need for flowers comes up, they are always gorgeous and last forever. My wedding flowers were certainly no exception. The only "complaint" is that ther...
e was a lack of communication between the staff and the wedding consultant when it came to my bill. Things were resolved but it caused a couple of extra trips during a hectic time.
I worked with Greg from Mayfield. At time he was hard to pin down but overall the flowers and center pieces where amazing and he came through with all the promises he had given us.
