DJ Del Soul was absolutely amazing! He brought such great energy to our wedding and truly helped keep the crowd on the dance floor all night long. His music selection was perfect, ...
he knew exactly how to read the room and keep the vibe going. Beyond that, he was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and made the whole experience stress-free and so much fun. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was! We couldn’t recommend DJ Del Soul enough, he’s the best!
We cannot recommend Del Sol enough for a wedding DJ! From start to finish, he was professional, energetic, and incredibly attentive to our vision for the big day. He worked closely...
with us ahead of time to understand our music preferences, must-plays, and the overall vibe we wanted, making the planning process easy and stress-free—even from Arizona!
On the wedding day, Del Sol kept the energy amazing, reading the crowd perfectly and making sure everyone was on the dance floor. His timing, transitions, and song choices were flawless, and made every moment feel fun, lively, and memorable.
If you want a DJ who is talented, professional, and truly cares about making your wedding celebration unforgettable, Del Sol is the one to choose. He helped make our entire Maui wedding, from ceremony to reception, absolutely magical!
I have worked for many years as a videographer (HI FOCUSED Cinematography) in the wedding industry here on Maui, so when it came time for our wedding, I had long known who I wanted...
to be a part of
our vendor dream team. Truly the best of the best offered here on Maui! Del is professional, thorough but also charismatic and funny too! A combination of all the best attributes for someone to host your wedding reception. Del is most known for being a DJ but he also officiates. If our wedding had a reception party with music, we, without a doubt, would have hired him to DJ. Considering his personality and our long time friendship, it wasnt a hard choice to choose Del to officiate our ceremony. Together we worked on a ceremony that was very personalized and authentic to me and my bride. From our vision, Del came up with a script that was personal, profound but also
with moments of light humor, the perfect combination for a wedding ceremony. On the wedding day he beautifully delivered our ceremony. Del has been my friend for years so it made our day even more special to have him be apart of
our wedding day! Thank you for all your work in making it the perfect wedding day for us! It has been a pleasure working with you at so many events all these years!
Mahalo!
Overall, DJ Del was a great choice for our wedding. He was kind, funny, and personable. He did a fantastic job emceeing our wedding and ensuring the evening flowed perfectly. He al...
so kept the dancefloor hot! He played all of our must-play songs, and stayed away from our "do not play" songs. He also played majority of our chosen songs for open dancing, but added in some great options based on our guests and the dancefloor.
We did have a couple of minor issues on the wedding day. Del had made edited versions of the songs we chose for our first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance that were about 1:30 long. We had practiced our dances to these versions (especially our first dance, as we had this choreographed). However on our wedding day, Del came up to us after the ceremony and said he didn't have the edited versions of the first dance or mother/son dance songs. For the mother/son dance, my husband just had to look up at Del and nod to tell him when to slowly fade out the song. For our first dance song, the non-edited version completely threw us off at the beginning of our dance as we hadn't practiced to it. We got the hang of it and it ended up being great, but we definitely felt some panic and stress at the start.
We also had a slideshow that my mum had put together to show during the reception. There seemed to be a technical issue when it first started playing as there was no sound for the first minute or so. He worked quickly to correct it, and the sound came on for the rest of it. We understand tech issues happen and are sometimes out of one's control.
We are still happy with our decision to work with DJ Del. Despite the few minor hiccups, the overall package was still fantastic.
DJ Del was the best choice we could have made for our wedding DJ. He executed everything perfectly, and had a great system in place to make sure that all the music we wanted played...
at our wedding would be played. DJ Del also went above and beyond, checking on us prior to the ceremony start, and just making sure everyone in our crowd was having fun. Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable!
WOW! DJ DEL was a hit! Literally from the first e-mail to the first moment we met, he knew exactly what was needed and when! It’s almost as if he spoke to my musical soul! He’s cha...
rismatic, intelligent, the best MC out there, and so KIND! We found ourselves very lucky to have worked with him, and have him be a part of our special day! He literally goes above and beyond! My father is very sick and was unable to fly to our wedding. DJ DEL took it upon himself to facetime him during our ceremony! Honestly, he’s the best, don’t miss out!

Del Sol was professional, friendly, and funny. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Thanks DJ Del Sol!

ormative about everything we needed to know. It is obvious that he truly cares about making your wedding special. And most importantly, he brought the party!!!Everyone was on their feet dancing from the start to the end. He always knew what to play to get people dancing. Favorite part of the whole wedding! Thank you Del!

f ages and music taste- Del did a great job of mixing it up, making everyone happy, and keeping everyone dancing. The meetings we had with him before the wedding were super helpful in preparing us for everything that could happen at the reception and we felt like Del really got know us which made him prepared to run our party. He for sure knows weddings and how to make them flow the best. Listen to Del and you'll be in good hands!
DJ Del is awesome! We hired him for our June wedding and we’re so glad we did because he did a great job. He was aware of the evenings events and made sure everything went smoothly...
. From our entrance, to the cake cutting, fire dancer, and our first dance it was seamless. You could tell he was organized and prepared- a true professional. And when it came to the dance party he ROCKED the house!! Every one of us had a great time!
Thanks DJ Del.

ed and ON POINT with everything. He even made sure we got our drinks and food ready for us once we got into the reception. He does it ALL! All my guests loved him! He plays the Jams (old & new), and was in the MIX! If it wasn't for Del, our reception would not have been as wonderful, lively and special as it was!!! As an MC, WOW! If you want your wedding to be OFF the HOOK, leave the MCing to Del....Just incredible how he illuminates the crowd! Also, his uplighting package is awesome! I recommended him 100x's for any event, especially one as special as a wedding! He will not disappoint. I cannot put into words how amazing you made us feel that day DEL. Mahalo DJ Del for making our wedding so memorable! We are blessed to have you as a part of it! ~Mary Ann & Keith Akioka~
Del is truly an exceptional DJ, MC, and all around great guy! For our wedding, he not only played the jams, he was also very smooth with helping us seamlessly transition into what ...
came next in our schedule of events from the grand entrance to the mother and son dance and bringing everyone onto the dance floor. All the while, taking the time to mingle and make sure everyone was having a great time.
DJ Del is the best DJ I've ever heard at a wedding (even though I may be a bit bias as I used him for my own wedding). He took our groups song requests and made sure they were all ...
played and then filled in the rest of the with with similar songs. My wedding night was during one of the worst storms ever on Maui and DJ Del kept playing the music like a champ. He told me once something went out the night was over but he stayed throughout the downpour of rain until the very end of the night! I am so glad we chose him as our DJ and would highly recommend as he goes above and beyond what is expected.
DJ Del Sol is such a nice guy and an awesome DJ!! We wanted a DJ who wasn’t going to make our reception a whole big production and who would match the laid-back vibe of our outdoo...
r venue. He was definitely what we were looking for! We sent him a list of songs that we wanted played during cocktail hour and at the reception, and he told us it would be no problem at all. He told us that if he ran through our entire list and still needed songs, he would play songs with a similar feel to what we requested. The music was on point the entire evening, and we later found out that tons of our guests skipped dessert to continue dancing. DJ Del also served as our emcee for the reception, and he did such a great job! He was funny, sweet, and so friendly with our guests…we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
Disregard any other the lower star ratings you see here. DJ Del is THE BEST! He followed all our requests to the T and used the vibe of the guests to help bring the party up or slo...
w the party down. He was very organized and well prepared. No snafus at all, sound was perfect for the ceremony (we got married at Sugarman and I was worried about the waves drowning out our vows but everyone could hear us), no feedback at all, and the slideshow set up was perfect. He was a spectacular MC who guided our whole day and was just the right amount of funny. He is very nice and giving and also helped play security guard at times. Everything you want in a wedding DJ and MC is with DJ Del.
We had a few hiccups with DJ Del, but overall he was really good to us! He even carried my giant dress to the car and gave one of my bridesmaids and her boyfriend a ride back to th...

DJ Del Sol was perfect for our guests. We wanted a DJ that didn’t play the typical wedding music. We wanted music that was modern and energetic for our guests. Not only did he play...
music that our guests like, but kept a great transition between songs. His transitions on songs that the guests didn’t like were extremely subtle and smooth. We spoke a few days before the wedding to confirm songs. Unfortunately, the first dance song was misplayed :( However, his energy was perfect! He engaged and interacted with our guests and even jumped on the dance floor a few times. His package was perfect, fairly priced, and included everything we needed!
We can't rave enough about DJ Del Sol. He did such a great job. He played most of what we requested and then some. He transitioned seamlessly into the events of the evening and was...
a wonderful presence throughout the night. He kept the party going for sure. Super nice guy too. I would use him again and again.
Oh Gosh, DJ Del Sol was awesome! We first chatted over email, but when I spoke to him on the phone I just knew he was the man for the job. He has such an energetic personality an...
d is so nice that we had to have him for our wedding day. Del was wonderful in answering questions, in being organized with a document asking for our song choices and just always being available when going through timing and anything else that needed to be discussed.
On the wedding day itself he was AWESOME! He started off with an awesome grand entrance for us. We had a friend as an MC, but I was super happy that we had Del do the grand entrance because he really got the crowd into it. From that point on, he was so professional and he really stuck to our wedding song list. We had put a lot of thought into that list so it was so great that we got to hear so many of our favourite songs. He really read that crowd though and ensure to put the right song in the right spot.
Thanks so much for making our wedding so great Del. Everyone had such a great time. Once that dancing started, it never stopped. Great job!! :)
WOW....where do we begin! Del was amazing from the moment we met him the day of the wedding until we all left the after party!! Del not only played great music during the ceremony ...
and at the reception, he was like a friend. He made sure every guest was having a great time on the dance floor and more. I have never seen a DJ so involved in his work to where he got out on the dance floor and got the party started. He made sure the wedding party was well taken care of and also helped coordinate the after party at a local hotel. Too much fun!!!! We talked about Del the rest of our trip as well as all our guests. Everyone loved him and couldn't stop raving about his services. I would say to any couple getting married in Maui that Del is your man!!! Thank you Del for all you did to make our special day even better! Mahalo! Dustin and Tammy March 2015

the songs we requested and played other songs that everyone liked, so there were always people dancing. Del even came to our after party....you can tell he loves his job and he's just a really nice guy! Thanks for making our day so perfect!

When searching for a DJ for our wedding - we definitely were a bit jaded by the DJs we have seen at some other weddings. Having seen the gamut, we knew what we wanted and that was a DJ that didn't hijack the event (by speaking too much or inserting random "not funny at all" jokes), that didn't play the generic top 40's or god forbid those "did they really put that on" jams like the Electric Slide and Macarena. Well fear not because DJ Del was the exact opposite of what we'd consider to be our ultimate nightmare!
Del was the ideal DJ for our wedding. He never once tried to steal the show and really did a wonderful job getting the crowd engaged. His mixes were on point and did the most fantastic job playing the songs we had wanted - in fact I found out later on that he pretty much took my sample list (by sample I mean full 10 hour set list of well over 200 songs) finding which ones worked the best to create both our dinner & dance list for the night.
If you are looking for an on-point, energetic and not cheesy DJ well Del is the man for you. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a DJ on Maui - he won't disappoint!
DJ Del Sol did an awesome job! He got everyone on the dance floor and kept us dancing and singing all night long...even with all the humidity from tropical storm Wali!
Del helped to make our Wedding such a special day and was amazing at finding all of our crazy song selections He timed out our "out of the box" processional song amazingly and eve...
ryone loved dancing! Del also has a knack for reading a crowd and keeping the flow of the whole event and the party going.
Best DJ on the island! Felipe (aka Del Sol) was great. Felipe was very responsive and provided us with a great template to input our requests. Del was available by cell, email, ...
text, etc. This helped eliminate any confusion and as a result, made it an unforgettable night. The music and MC'ing was second to none. Felipe kept the guests laughing with his great sense of humor and kept them dancing all night long with the music. He even went out of his way to make sure we had a blast at the after-party. We highly recommend Del. Maholo!
The DJ we hired DJ Del Sol was a nice person and dedicated a good portion of time with us. On the day he was very helpful even shining a phone torch for my dad to read his speech. ...
Only few things we felt could have been done better. I prepared a sheet with all the information about bridal party and sequence and sent it in an email yet he was last minute asking people their name and writing down on a piece of paper. His laptop also gave way in the middle. Some of the audio we felt was not the best especially when my sister-in-laws were playing the violin. Overall though we would recommend him, he was accommodating and we still had a great party at the reception.
This was the only negative to our wedding. The DJ didn't play some of our requested songs, played the wrong last song and played bad songs that cleared the dance floor. He was mo...
re into talking to his friend (who we had to pay a vendor meal for) than paying attention to the wedding and keeping everything going. Wouldn't recommend.
