Simply the best. We hired Matt for our wedding and engagement shoot, and could not have found a better photographer or a nicer person. He is so calm and easy going, yet amazing was...
amazing at directing us, our family, and friends, during our shoots. I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking to find the best wedding photographer and filmmaker for their special day. Thanks again Matt!
If I could give a million stars I would. We were recommended Matt by our sweet neighbor who used him for her wedding and boy are we grateful!! From the first web meeting to meeting...
in person for our engagement pictures, my husband and I were both like dang we have to be friends with Matt!! He's attentive, HILARIOUS, kind, a freakin' MASTER behind the camera, and made us feel so comfortable. He shoots both digital and film...and how he pays the closest attention to detail when editing, *chefs kiss*. He's incredibly talented.
For our engagement pictures, my husband and I were laughing and having a blast that any nerves we had for being in front of a camera went out the window. Fast forward to our wedding....I was even more nervous but Matt and his team were fun and easy to be around....all nerves vanished quickly. My husband and I again were laughing, having so much fun, and felt like ourselves in front of the camera. Matt gave us have freedom to pose in whatever way was comfortable, he'd see something that worked, and he'd be like okay hold this!! We kept saying how nice it was to just be us and not be posed a million different ways. We cannot wait to see the finished product.
We also used Matt's Love Reel services for our wedding video and we CANNOT wait to see this. All of the reels he's done, which you can see on his website, are out of this world. I know year after year on our wedding anniversary, the love reel will be a treasured way to relive the best day of our lives.
If you look at Matt's Instagram, you'll quickly see that couple's use him for all of life's big milestones. Engagements, weddings, baby announcements....it's seriously the sweetest. He develops lasting relationships with his clients and I can safely say we will make sure he captures all of our big milestones moving forward. Matt really is the best of the best.
Matthew just shot our wedding in Austin and we were THRILLED with his working style.
A photographer can really make or break a day like this - there’s a fine balance in being ever...
ywhere without being intrusive, directive but not bossy, and Matthew really hit the nail on the head.
My husband and I didn’t do any engagement sessions beforehand because a) we didn’t really care about the engagement photos and b) we preferred to spend the money elsewhere. Even without the “rehearsal” that engagement photos give you, Matthew made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. He was also great at wrangling the people you need wrangled for family and bridal party shots. I think we got them all done in less than 25 minutes so we could get back to our party!
Plus, his portfolio is absolutely stunning.
We loved Matthew and would 100% hire him again!
Matthew - someone I can easily say will be a lifelong friend! Photography has become a pillar in casual day-to-day life and documenting every activity we do. During your wedding se...
ason, photos mean so much more as the time is gone before you can blink and no one creates true candid memories like Matthew. When working with Matthew, he’ll constantly ask you to “show him real” because he knows those will be your favorite photos from him. He makes you feel comfortable to really let your guard down and be extremely vulnerable with your partner. We didn’t work with a videographer, but if we did it would have been with Matthew as well because his Love Reels make you relive the moment in time in such a refreshing way.
We cannot say enough great things about Matthew Moore! His photos are absolutely unbelievable. He captured our big day so perfectly, we were blown away. The entire process with Mat...
thew was very easy and comfortable and everyone enjoyed being around him on our wedding day. 100000% recommend him!
If you're searching for an incredible photographer to capture all the beauty, joy, and magic of your love in a unique yet timeless way, look no further. Matthew is a true artist - ...
but in a totally approachable, genuine way that ensures your photos will be absolutely stunning (literally magazine worthy) but also authentic to you. While his portfolio speaks for itself, what you don't see is that behind the lens Matthew is an all-around wonderful person. We ended up having an intimate ceremony due to COVID, and there is no one else I would have wanted there among our closest family and friends for such a special day. He intuitively knew the exact moments to capture and made everyone feel at ease. He went above and beyond to capture the most extraordinary photos we will cherish forever. I could go on and on. There is truly no one better!

t important things to me and I spent a lot of time looking at different “fine art” wedding photographers in Texas. While there are so many talented photographers in Texas, the first time I visited Matthew’s website, I felt “moved” for lack of a better word. His photography was not just beautiful but I could almost feel the emotion behind them and I knew I had to have him photograph my wedding. From the initial phone call to actually receiving the wedding photographs and video, Matt was very pleasant and professional to work with. My husband hates being photographed, but Matt is laid back and made my husband feel comfortable during our engagement session. I decided to hire Matt to also do our wedding video because I loved how his wedding videos were different and more creative. I didn’t have any special requests for our video and I just let Matt do his thing. I received the wedding photos back very quickly which was amazing! Hire Matt if you want timeless photos and video that are not cookie-cutter but are creative, emotional and breathtaking. He is a true artist that is passionate about his work while still being professional and great to work with!
There are two types of wedding photographers in the world. You have the "cookie-cutter" photographer or one that recreates every wedding image you have seen on Instagram and then ...
you have Matthew Moore Photography. It is extremely easy to imitate images you see splattered across Instagram, however, it takes someone who is not just a photographer but a storyteller to capture images like Matt. He managed to capture so many emotions we had that day. You can tell how nervous and anxious I was getting ready. You can see the anticipation on the faces of guests as they arrived to the ceremony, and you can see the pure joy and love between my husband and I during our first dance. In addition to amazing images, Matt is just a really good guy. He made my husband and I feel completely at ease. His wife, Katie, did my hair and make-up and made me feel like a goddess. She also helped me when my hair was out of place or dress needed adjusting. Oh, and she calmed all of my bridal nerves the day of. So, if you want someone to capture unique and pure images of your wedding that are truly pieces of art this is your photography team.
(P.S. Ask about the Love Reels, you will not be disappointed.)
We cannot recommend Matthew Moore Photography & team enough, and are forever grateful for the gorgeous images of our big day. My husband and I are a tad lime-light averse but Matt'...
s coaching and direction helped us stay in the moment and focused on each other. He's pretty funny and kept the mood light but meaningful. It really came across in the photographs and he captured so many authentic gems - not just of us, but our closest friends and family, too.
I was a bit blue after the wedding, mostly from fear I'd forget how I felt in all those special moments. Matt's photographs brought those feelings back with startling clarity. Like, I was literally startled. And started crying. Again. Happy tears, though! That's what we love about his style - he's able to convey the emotion in an artistic and unique way.
We found Matt & Co. to be very professional while also warm and easy going. His wife Katie is lovely and helped with our engagement shoot. Timely communication before and after, on time and ready to go day-of, and care very much about their client experience. They are pros!
We recommend Matthew Moore Photography if you're looking for emotion filled, artistic, stylized-while-still-candid photographs - above and beyond the standard smile and pose formula.
We had the absolute best experience working with Matt and Katie. They did our engagement, bridals, and wedding photography (which we can't wait to see). Our friends tell us that ou...
r Save the Date card is one that they still keep on their fridge because of how awesome the photography and idea was behind it. Matt and Katie listened to all of our ideas for our engagement pictures and made them come to life. We could not have been happier with their work. My bridals are something I will always treasure. And I know our wedding pictures will also be amazing. They are also just really cool people in general and are very fun to work with. No need to look any further for a photographer. Just pick MMP.
I could not be more happy and satisfied with the photographs from my wedding, as well as my bridal portraits. Matt and Katie are amazing to work with. I never felt uncomfortable or...
weird about being photographed. I love that they don't really pose you, they capture who you are when you least expect it. My photos are gorgeous, and our wedding was published on Style Me Pretty. I love them to death. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they just happen to also be the sweetest people ever. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing, breathtaking, photographs, as well as a fabulous experience. They are BEYOND amazing! :)

era, but Matt made us feel comfortable and kindly provided the direction we needed. He captured our special day beautifully – with digital footage as well as film. Our home is now full of gorgeous images that remind us of the most special day we share. And Matt also brought a talented videographer to the table. They created a video that has allowed us to re-experience some of the joy and fun of our wedding day whenever we want. :) I'm so thankful for Matt and his talents and highly recommend his services to any bride & groom looking for a photographer for their special day.

he emotion rather than just the traditional portraits, and Matthew exceeded all of our expectations. Every photo is beautiful, natural, and captures how special the day was. We will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives, and we can't thank Matthew enough for all of his work and creative vision. It was far more than we could have ever imagined and we are so grateful to him for that. His photos are timeless and you won't regret working with him.
Matthew and Katie are an absolute delight. They're a great team and helped make our wedding day dreams come true.

. They helped me get creative and direct me in posing. They are also some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Book with them, you won't regret it!

ments you didn’t even know were happening and ones you never want to forget. And somehow someway he always gets everyone’s best angles. As a designer and planner I want all of the detailed shots and he always finds a way in his timeline to make them a priority. It’s this attention to detail that has me coming back every time we have a new client. Besides all of his talents he’s a joy to work with. Easy-going and always helpful I never feel like I need to “babysit” Matt he knows where he needs to be at all times. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a couple say “I love Matt and Katie I want to be their friend” or “Matt made me feel so comfortable” This is the type of vendor you want on your team!
Beautiful Photos!
Choosing Matt and Katie of Matthew Moore Photography to shoot our wedding was easy after looking through their portfolio and speaking with them. From our first discussions, to trav...
eling to Austin, Texas for our engagement shoot, all the way through the wedding, we had a massive couple-crush on them. They are professional but fun, tremendously creative and were a dream to work with and have as a part of our celebration.
Matt and Katie have a candid, relaxed, and unobtrusive way of shooting, combined with an editorial feel that makes everyone and everything look fabulous. They go with what feels right and natural and worked with us to figure out what we wanted.
They photographed the whole wedding weekend, including the vineyard tour, mushroom hunt, rehearsal dinner, and the brunch the day after the wedding. For bridal portraits, they found this ethereal lake surrounding a deserted medieval village called Isola Santa for a dream sequence walking through the woods and me floating in the lake (the one big exception to our posed shot vendetta).
The results and experience we had were spectacular! There are many photos that we don’t recall them being around for, but they clearly got!
We absolutely love Matthew and Katie's work! They make sure to go above and beyond to meet every request and desire regarding event! From our engagement photos to our wedding photo...
s, their work has been outstanding! The creativity from venues, to positioning... The photos captured, to the editing, all mind blowing! It's undeniable these 2 individuals are gifted!!! I recommend them to any and everyone.
Really “the best ever.” Working with Matthew and Katie has always been a joy. They engage intimately and carefully, then pull out honest moments in beautiful shots, every time. So...
much love for them xx
Absolutely loved working with Matthew & Katie!
From our first phone conversation, we immediately felt at ease with Matthew. He took the time to get to know us, understand our style and make sure he knew what was important to us...
on our wedding day. He helped us feel comfortable so that our pictures were incredibly natural. He and his wife (second photographer), Katie, worked tirelessly on our wedding day, making sure that they got every photo that was important to us. Our pictures turned out even better than we imagined - we have many enlarged & developed as well as our wedding album and the quality is absolutely top notch. We couldn't be happier with their service, pricing, professionalism and attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend them!
Matt and Katie were the best. So much fun to work with, and the results are second to none. Here are our highlights:
1. Amazing pictures. Really amazing... They also do such a good...
job of balancing adding their own energy and being unobtrusive during the welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception. Our engagement shoot was a ton of fun and had fantastic results.
2. Very professional and fun to work with. They made their deadlines, and gave us complete confidence in their professionalism.
3. They are professionals, and as such, they do command a good amount for their services, but in terms of value (the definition of which is what you get for what you pay for) we think we got a great deal!
4. We would absolutely work with them again. And would recommend them to anyone looking for destination wedding photographers. They have been so many places, shot so many different weddings, that they give fantastic advice on what is going to look good: from hair, makeup, lighting, time of day, angles, everything. They are total experts, as well as bringing a sense of art to to the whole experience. We love them!
Matt and Katie are amazing to work with! They are truly the best at what they do!

ction and also fading into the background for candid shots, we were overjoyed with how our photos turned out. Since our wedding, we've recommended Matthew Moore Photography to several friends, and have enjoyed being guests at weddings and seeing this great photo team working magic for our friends. Highly recommend!
Matt is by far the most talented photographer in the business. He was able to capture the profound beauty of both my wife, and the event, in pictures that will forever cause me to...
feel as though I am standing in that exact moment again - each time I look at them. Thank you Matt!

e expertly capture those moments as they occurred. Matthew and Katie were worth every penny (and then some). Our images are among my most cherished posessions and made every detail of that day look magazine worthy. Katie is an incredible stylist and not only did she do my hair and makeup (and photograph alongside Matt!), but I also sought her guidance for many stylistic questions. As a team, the operate as one and together they made being the subject of their lenses an effortless joy. Hiring them was the best decision we made in terms of vendors. We have since hired Matt and Katie to take photos of our family and every picture they take is pure gold. If you meticulously plan every detail of your wedding and painstakingly try to ensure your day is perfect, do yourself a favor and hire Matt and Katie so you can relive it again and again. I can’t recommend them enough! Just look through their Instagram. The images speak for themselves!
Matt & Katie were great and their photos were nothing short of incredible. They knew exactly how to put us at ease and captured the day perfectly. It was one of the best decisions ...
we made when planning our wedding.

gether to make it happen. One of those people that we cherish is Matthew. When we look through our photos we relive those moments full of love and pure happiness that were in the air. His photos truly transport us back and gave us a special glimpse to the other things that were happening around us that we didn’t get to see, like those special photos of our ring bearer and flower girls playing together and our beloved family and friends watching us with love as we were saying I do and those laughs brought by our father’s speeches. Matthew was a quiet presence that day, capturing special moments at the church and venue from all perspectives. It was very impressive to us all of the angles and quantity of photos he was able to capture as he was the only photographer.
From day one we knew he would be our photographer because of the calm vibe he gave. He and his wife were instrumental in our worry-free day because of their help in building us a perfect timeline that fit our schedule. He was very flexible in our request and patiently guided us through the process. Matthew at the end of the night became like one of our guests. We highly recommend him for any occasions, you truly will not regret it.
A lot of photographers talk about capturing the "moment". I think there is a fine line between capturing a moment, and making your wedding look like something it wasn't. Maybe some...
people like fake or to make their day look more special than it was.
Matt is not that. He's exceptional at what he does, and he made us feel comfortable and let us enjoy our small moments in-between the chaos. Most importantly he captured those small moments which are some of the best memories I have of my wedding. To me that's priceless.
Matt and Katie were absolutely incredible to work with. They shot our engagement and wedding weekend photos as well as my bridal portraits. My husband and I are a little camera shy...
and they made us feel so comfortable and you would never know how awkward we truly are in front of the camera by looking at our beautiful photos. They were always quick to respond to our emails and easy to get in touch with. They pay close attention to detail and have such an eye for things. Their style is very organic. No cheesy poses/photos when you work with these two! Matt also shot video footage of our two day wedding (American ceremony and Indian ceremony) using an analog film camera. People have literally cried while watching our highlight video. It was that beautiful. We will definitely work with them again in the future!
Matthew Moore Photography exceeded what we were expecting out of a engagement and wedding photographer! Within our first 5 minutes of meeting them in Austin, they new exactly what ...
type of engagement shots would "fit" our personalities and scored us a shoot at the French Legate Museum in downtown Austin. Bryan and I had a relaxed and enjoyable time laughing with Matthew and Katie as they just let us "do our thing".
They are more than just wedding photographers: they helped us plan everything leading up to the wedding day including the day of timeline, best colors for photo shots, which earring to wear, and the coolest flowers. (I'm wondering if they should start a wedding event planning side of their business, too?!)
Our wedding day brought rain in the morning, but Matthew Moore Photography totally kept me calm and they found some awesome outdoor shots away from the clouds and the rain. Matthew even walked around with a sheet for me to stand on to keep the dress spotless. For the ceremony and reception at Tiny Boxwoods, they found the best detailed shots to capture everything from the menu, the ring-bearers pulling wagons outside, and our first-look. We are SO, SO pleased with every picture and love the signature gallery that MMP created. Gosh, when I got sick and was unable to get the CD with the images from our wedding, Matthew even took the extra time to email the gallery to me when it was ready as a sort of "chicken-soup". Wow...did it make me feel better!
If you are looking for photographers, you'll be missing out if you don't choose Matthew Moore. We love them and plan to go grab a cup of coffee with them anytime we're close to Austin because they are just that friendly and fun to be around!

ly recommend them to photograph any engagement. If you want high quality works of art. They are the team for you.
We used Matthew Moore for engagement and wedding photos And couldn’t have been happier. They truly are the best!!
Matthew and Katie are an amazing duo that captured our super-intimate ceremony. When we saw their photography we knew we would love to work with them. Talking to Katie on the phone...
during the consult was like talking to an old friend - there was immediate ease and comfort in communication and she understood what we were seeking. By the way, she is also a hair and beauty master! Matthew and Katie were very straightforward in communicating on the day and were very responsive to what we wanted. They made us feel so at ease. Katie even helped with some last minute bouquet fixes - they are such a great team and really cared about making us happy and comfortable down to the little details. And then of course the photos arrived and we couldn't have been happier - they captured our day so beautifully. We absolutely loved working with them and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

y e-mails, worked with me to achieve the look I wanted and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I don't like posing for pictures but they helped me feel relaxed and made the whole experience enjoyable - which definitely shows up in our photos! Their work is gorgeous, and goes beyond standard wedding photography into the realm of fine art. Not to mention, Katie is an incredibly talented hair and makeup artist. I would love to use them again in the future for lifestyle shoots!

een published and knew that they'd be the team for us. While we had initially planned on getting married in Austin, TX (we're from Philadelphia), scheduling conflicts prevented this from happening. When news of this came to Matt and Katie, they were more than willing to accommodate our venue (and state!) change. Upon meeting the duo, we instantly felt at ease, and this comfort translated to gorgeous photos. Matt is great at keeping you laughing through the process, and Katie has an amazing artistic eye. We feel really lucky to have had them at our wedding and would definitely recommend the pair to any bride-to-be!!

Matthew Moore has captured both our engagement and wedding photos... two of the biggest events in our lives so far, and we wouldn't have had it any other way.
Not only is his fun...
personality contagious, but his photos reflect his passion to capture moments that will last forever. His skills are excellent and talent unmatched. We absolutely loved working with Matt, and would choose him all over again!
We loved using Matthew Moore Photography. I am obsessed with all the images we got back! There was not one that I didn’t absolutely love.

ding day. Not only is Matthew an incredibly talented photographer, he is also a blast to be around. Trust me when I say that having a photographer who is fun and makes you feel comfortable will make all the difference on your wedding day, and it will show in your photos. I truly believe our photos turned out great because we felt comfortable in front of the camera and were able to laugh, relax, and enjoy ourselves. What I love most about Matthew's photography style is that he prefers candid shots over posed photos. The posed photos are beautiful, but the candid ones of us laughing together and enjoying the day are the ones we treasure the most. Worth every penny. His style is unique and unlike anything we had seen before. His photos are modern and simple, but they also have a sort of nostalgic, dreamy look that is hard to find. Matthew just gets it. We love our photos so much, and we are glad we found him!
Here’s why we chose this Texas duo for our New Orleans wedding:
1.Photographic Mastery—One thing that sets them apart is the way they manipulate light in their pictures, even in i...
ndoor shots. Other photographers feature the “easy” shots on their websites—outdoor pics in perfect lighting, posed shots, wedding details. Matt & Katie always go a step beyond—They play with lighting until their indoor shots are perfect. They have a knack for capturing emotion in candid photos. Their photos of a reception room encompass the feel of the event. They tell a story. We ended up with both dreamy portraits that tell our love story & candid reception shots that are full of fun, life, & New Orleans character!
2.Passion & Art – These 2 LOVE what they do & approach each job with their entire spectrum of talents. Matt’s eye for beauty is impeccable. And his propensity for quickly perceiving, understanding & appreciating people’s personalities & relationships & making sure that translates in photos is like none other. Katie’s taste is flawless—her styling of shoots, hair & makeup talent & creativity are amazing! From high school seniors to brides, she makes them all look like models.
The place they picked for our engagements couldn’t have been better. We took them in Austin, yet they have the most New Orleans feel of any I have ever seen. They capture everything we love about the city in them. True talent!
3.Matt & Katie—A dream to work with in every way! Katie is a wealth of knowledge on vendors, ideas & tips. She wants not just your pictures to be great, but the whole wedding. They are both the most pleasant people to be around. We were torn between wanting them to capture every moment & being tempted to tell them to put the camera down, grab a drink & dance with us!
