Matt is truly INCREDIBLE. From the day we booked him through our wedding day, he was there for us every step of the way. Not only are his photos amazing, but he supported us throug...
hout the entire planning process and made sure everything went exactly how we imagined. He was very organized, communicative, and responsive, and he was always willing to answer any questions we had along the way. At our Welcome Party and Wedding Reception, many of our friends and family came up to tell us how kind and welcoming he was, which meant so much to us. We couldn’t agree more! He made us feel so comfortable (even as two people who don’t love being in front of a camera), and we are obsessed with the sneak peeks he just sent us! We are very grateful for everything he did to make our wedding go perfectly, and we would 100% recommend him.
Working with Matt was such an incredible experience and I really cannot recommend him enough. A few months before our wedding, Matt scheduled a call with us to get a sense of what ...
we wanted to prioritize for photography. He has such a calming presence and really instills confidence when you speak with him. I felt that he struck an incredible balance of making sure that we captured key moments and portraits but I never felt like it was detracting from our ability to be present during the day. He had such great energy throughout the day which made it so easy to relax and ultimately capture photos that felt like “us”. When we received our complete gallery we were utterly blown away. I genuinely felt like I was reliving the day. Matt truly captured photos that made the day look just as special and beautiful as it felt to us. The balance of classic digital pictures along with film is so special. Thank you SO much Matt, we will cherish these pictures forever! Special shoutout to Matt’s veil placement ability, you were a lifesaver there!

g we wanted in our photographer was someone who could capture the moments and feelings of our wedding day. Matt did exactly that. Matt did an amazing job not just capturing our wedding day, but telling our love story. He truly cares. If you have the opportunity, don’t hesitate to hire Matt as your photographer. It’s the best decision you’ll make for your wedding day.

d to our sneak peeks from the wedding day, we couldn't dream of having anyone capture some of our biggest moments in life. Matt and Amanda have been friends for years and they make everyone feel like family. They make everyone feel comfortable in front of the lens, capturing the purest moments in life for you to cherish for years to come. esire to share your story is what separates them from other photographers. They are extremely honest and want you to love your pictures. The amount of emotion they capture in their photos is incredible. They make you feel extremely comfortable and confident - which is important if you or your spouse is not used having their photo taken. :)
Matt and Amanda were such gems throughout the process leading up to our wedding, and on our actual wedding day. We live out of town so never ended up having time for an engagement ...
session with them, but it turns out we didn't need it! We felt super comfortable with them throughout our big day and they not only didn't add to our stress, but they relieved some of it with their tips and tricks.
We just got access to all of our photos and we are SUPER happy with them - so gorgeous, we are really happy with how well and beautifully documented our special day was.
It doesn't hurt that they both speak French, so they were able to communicate with my husband's family who doesn't speak much English!
I highly recommend these two for your wedding day, they were amazing.

we wanted our special day to be captured by them. They do a spectacular job of maintaining a perfect balance of personalism and professionalism. They are there for you for business, but you end with them wanting to be your friends! We are so thankful we got the opportunity to meet and work with them! It was such a pleasure having them with us throughout the wedding process! BONUS-Matt uses film! Do yourself a favor and end your photography search here! You will be glad you did!

nly captured the posed shots, but the candids they shot are really what makes them stand out. If you haven’t picked your wedding photographer yet, pick Matt Erickson Photography! I know I will one day.
I can't rave enough about Matt Erickson Photography. Matt and Amanda embody everything that is unbelievably fantastic about a wedding (and everything that goes with weddings! Engag...
ement shoots, wedding albums, photos for relatives, etc.). Kind, warm, highly intelligent and intuitive, willing to roll with the punches (almost before the punches happen), imaginative, supportive and most importantly--real. If they weren't so valuable for what they do and how well they do it, I might pay them just to be our best friends. Before our wedding, they drove to visit with my wife (then fiancé) and me to talk about our vision (and to help us figure out what our vision actually was). They truly care about what they do, how they do it and who they do it for. Literally, my wife's and my wedding day was the hottest of the year and in an outdoor location. Almost 100 degrees the whole day--A surefire recipe for disaster. Except these guys helped make it anything but that! They made it our dream come true! Matt and Amanda took care of us better than we took care of ourselves. I guess it comes down to the basic concept of how you want your special day to go. If you want to have a day that's about you and your loved one, a day you'll always know to be the best day you've ever had, every moment captured for eternity, hire these guys right now. Please. For your own good and the good of your wedding, just hire them.

y little detail and captured the most beautiful photos. When the wedding album was finished, I couldn’t choose just one because every single picture was perfect. Not to mention, they write a super sweet blog post about your wedding day with a sneak peak!! I wish I could get remarried just to have them take our wedding pictures. I 100% recommend them without a doubt! You will not be disappointed.
