Mathew Irving Photography

look photogenic in nearly all of these photos (even though I am definitely an awkward turtle). They were also the only photographers we talked to who weren't completely stumped by what to do to photograph a ceremony in very low light and embraced our nerdy starry night/spacey/planetarium-themed wedding. Leading up to the big day, we always felt like we were on the same page with Mathew & Ariel. We were never confused or unsure, and that made such a HUGE difference when we were in the middle of planning a wedding all on our own. Working with them was a piece of enjoyable* cake. Oh! They also got our edited photos to us within a week of our celebration. I don't know if we just got them on a slow month, but that was the bee's knees. *I thought I should clarify that the cake was great just in case you're a pie person.

ay) and did a great job in capturing our desired style of photos. They were flexible with scheduling and very easy to communicate with during the planning process. We did both engagement and wedding pictures with Mathew and were blown away by the quality of photos and the incredibly quick turnaround. Rachel was Mathew’s assistant the day of the wedding and she was wonderful. If you are looking for a wedding photographer – or a photographer to capture your special moments – look no further. We have recommended Irving photography to several friends and family and will continue to do so! Excellent experience!

s conversational and easy-going in a way that made us feel comfortable being in front of the camera. As the pandemic hit and our wedding plans changed, we were absolutely floored with how accommodating and supportive Irving Photography was about our changing plans. If you are looking for top notch customer service and a great team to work with, Mathew and Ariel should be at the top of your list!

ey are open and honest and good at communicating and keeping in touch up until the very day of the wedding. They did a great job listening to our wedding vision and captured all the special moments we wanted. They were very flexible during the pandemic and worked with all of the changes we were forced to make. Matthew gave us little Polaroid pictures the night of the wedding to give us a glimpse of what our day looked like, which was such a nice surprise. The pictures turned out amazing and they were delivered to us within 2 weeks! I would highly recommend this duo to anyone looking to capture their special day. Thank you guys, you are so talented💕

went above and beyond. The pictures were stunning. They would take an ordinary location and make it extraordinary!! Loved it. Loved them. Would recommend them to all my friends and family!

hat every photo we viewed has a color and black and white print. Matt was easy to work with and makes you feel extremely comfortable. He has an incredible eye and his passion is clear in every picture we received. Ariel is so kind and extremely hard editing all the pictures. We got our engagement pictures back in a snap. The day of the wedding Matt printed out little Polaroids of some shots so we had some pictures to take home. What a wonderful surprise! We can not wait to see the final pictures from our wedding, but we know they will be beautiful; all thanks to Matt and Ariel!

scount, set up a meeting to discuss what we were looking for on the wedding day, AND delivered AMAZING photos! He was great at organizing our crazy families and worked fast so we could enjoy our actual day. I would HIGHLY recommend Mathew for any photography needs!

on our wedding day. We loved Matt's assistant photographer Kim for the day of! We would hire them again and again!

re beyond impressed with their work and highly recommend them!

nd reception. The photos came so quick! We had two of each picture, one in color and another in black and white. My husband and I loved the quality of all of them. I would highly recommend Irving Photography for any type of wedding!

meshed so well. I wanted to have people surrounding me on my wedding day that would “get me.” I didn’t want to be stressed or uncomfortable. Mathew and Courtney took amazing pictures, from our engagement photos to our wedding photos. They went above and beyond in making sure they communicated an understanding of the types of photos we wanted for the day. And Ariel did an amazing job of touching them up. At the end of your wedding day, your left with your memories, and your photos. If there’s anything you take away from this review, it is worth the money to get a good photographer. And it’s worth booking Irving photography. You won’t regret it. I promise! Lindsay Nichols

I am so thrilled that we chose Irving Photography. Mathew and Ariel far exceeded my expectations of wedding photography. Not only are they incredibly talented artistic wedding photographers, but they are warm-hearted, genuinely good people. They were able to gauge my vision for my wedding and deliver phenomenal photos that our family, friends, and ourselves will forever cherish. Additionally, they were able to help guide me to strategically plan our day in order to get the best photos. Kim, their second shooter, also took incredible photos and was very warm and friendly. If you're looking for wedding photography, stop your search and look no further! Thank you to Mathew, Ariel, and Kim for your phenomenal work! - The Wims

us what type of pictures we wanted before our engagement photo session and what was most important to us and what portraits we wanted with family before the wedding day. Kim joined us for both photo shoots, as the second shooter, who is also a very talented photographer. It was great having two different people capturing the day, taking from their own perspective, and different angles. With their talent and experience, the wedding day went smoothly and we received a lot of wonderful photos, capturing all the moments of our special day. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out beautifully with great candid shots, artfully framed with vivid color and focus. They definitely have our recommendation!

nd know our wedding pictures are going to be just as phenomenal! So thankful we found them :)

d us the most... what we LOVED about Irving photography was their kindness, responsiveness, and genuine care when it comes to the people they are photographing. Don't get me wrong, our pictures are STUNNING, but I adore them even more having gotten to know Mathew and Ariel in the process.

e, made us feel very comfortable, they dressed so nicely for our day, and stayed all the way until end! Our engagement photos also came out so great, and they stuck it out in the cold and snow with us. They Rock! I highly recommend them, I have told all my friends about them, they are awesome! Could not be happier!

grapher that had excellent images online. After checking out their positive reviews and confirming they were in our price range I scheduled a meeting to book Matthew and Ariel. Let me just say they blew me away. Here are the reasons I would hire them: 1. They are professional. #1 fear of most brides: will all of my vendors show up and deliver? Short answer: yes and yes. Matthew and Ariel went out of their way to make sure we were happy with our engagement photos by taking us to several different sites. When I arrived at my wedding venue frazzled with messy hair and all, they were the first to offer to help unload my car for me. They are truly kind people who also take their word seriously and go out of their way to help you. Photos were always delivered AHEAD of schedule and they were always early for appointments. 2. They are super, duper talented. Seriously, look at some of their photo galleries. They have modern equipment, a creative eye and also know how to edit photographs well. I seriously laughed and cried when I looked at some of the pictures they shot for my wedding. My wedding was super rushed, in hindsight we should have booked the venue for longer, but honestly in the photos you can't tell. This amazing duo captured it all. 3. Ok seriously....these people have only been doing this for a few years? How is this possible? Ladies, their prices are going to rise, I guarantee it. Book them now while you have the chance. Ok, I'll stop acting like a sales person now:) I just had an amazing experience with these two. My bridal party loved them, the photos are just lovely and go beyond my expectations. Thank you for documenting my special day with such love and care Matthew and Ariel. And future brides....book them....you won't be disappointed!!!

y truly exceeded our expectations! Mathew and Ariel are seriously so talented and more importantly, they GET IT!!! They know what it means to take beautiful pictures but more importantly they make you feel comfortable and confident. They plan and scout locations that are awesome and really know how to maximize the time that you spend with them. Thank you for making this an experience we will never forget, and thank you for giving us beautiful photos we will have for a life time! Taylor Johnson

'd never want to forget. The picture quality and their attention to the little details make all of the difference. Ariel made sure I always felt comfortable in every shot. She even snagged a snack bar for me when I was starving just minutes before walking down the aisle! Mathew is so talented at finding just the right lighting and shots. He uses so many elements you'd never think to look at to create the perfect picture. The two were extremely helpful. I don't think we ever waited more than a a few hours for a response to our questions. I've reccomded them on Facebook to my friends and would do it again and again! Take a moment to look at their website. The photo quality on the site is exactly what you get-gorgeous pictures!

the knowing exactly what time we had to be at certain spots in order for the lighting to be perfect! They had it mapped out to the minute!! Such beautiful locations and they are wonderful when it comes to making you comfortable... Especially if you are not used to being in front of the camera! I was very impressed! I recommend Mat and Ariel to any bride looking for a photographer who will take pride in the photos they take of your special event as of it were their own! You will NOT be disappointed!! :)
