The Matchmaker band absolutely set the “vibe” at our wedding. We had multiple people come up and compliment the band. They also facilitated the pianist during the ceremony and the ...
Jazz trio during the cocktail hour. It was an extremely easy and smooth booking/coordination experience. They worked great with our wedding coordinator, and set the tone for our group with the song selection. We danced the night away, and our guests loved it! They also did the uplighting and emcee coordination.
Hiring the Matchmakers for our wedding was potentially the best decision we made!! They were so incredible and fun. There wasn't a song that all our guests weren't on the dance flo...

We really wanted a wedding band that could play outside the box of your typical wedding songs. Match maker was able to accommodate! They have a very large song list to choose from ...
and we were able to formulate a set list that fit what we wanted! Matchmaker really knows how to turn it up and pump up the dance floor! We really liked how they rotated vocalists, which created a different vibes on stage. Overall we highly recommend matchmaker if you want a lively, soulful, funky, R&B band.
Matchmaker was the absolute highlight of our wedding day. Hands down, they are the best wedding band we (and all of our guests) have ever heard. From start to finish, they complete...
ly blew us away. So many people came up to us asking if they would fly to different states for their weddings because they were truly next-level. Every single part of the day was out of this world — their dinner set, first dance, full reception, and after-party were all perfectly executed and insanely fun. They read the room flawlessly, brought incredible energy, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. The transitions, vocals, vibes - everything was next level. Our guests are still talking about them and saying it was the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding. We could not recommend them enough. If you want a band that will absolutely elevate your entire wedding and create an unforgettable experience, book them immediately. They were incredible!!!
Matchaker Band made our reception the Dance Party of the summer! The dance floor was packed through the last dance! Great energy and perfectly curated playlist. They also did a gre...
at job with our requested special dances. Additionally, we used their musicians for our ceremony music which was a bit more complex than most. The performance was excellent and the sound quality, even for an outdoor ceremony, was perfect. Contracting easy and straighforward. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up!
A band was our #1 priority. After the venue, it was the first thing we researched and booked. Matchmaker exceeded all of our expectations. Amos and the team were amazing to work wi...
th, and I really appreciated their personalization, allowing us to pick entrance songs, pre-ceremony songs, make our own playlist for cocktail hour and deal with our extremely detailed DO/DO NOT play list. Because of the venue setup, we chose to have the string trio play during dinner and only have the full band perform during the two-hour dance party. Even though 15-minute breaks were expected, the team took none. We noticed. It was incredible. We've received non-stop comments after the wedding about it being the "best band I've ever seen."
I don't know how to begin to describe how incredible Matchmaker was!! They were so communicative and helpful leading up to the wedding, and they are truly a one-stop shop – they pr...
ovided our ceremony sound system, cocktail hour music, reception music, and uplighting in the room. My husband and I also performed together at our reception, and they provided microphones and had everything perfectly set for us. From the moment the dinner set started, we were transported by their INCREDIBLE vocals and high-quality music from every member of the band. When I tell you I dreaaaam of the way they played "At Last" – I've never seen people stand up and clap for the band during dinner. They MCed the night perfectly and kept the dance floor packed all night long and brought the absolute best energy and talent!! They brought the quality of our entire wedding up, and everyone I talk to post wedding ALWAYS brings up how they'll never get over our band. Thanks for helping us create a night that no one will ever forget!!

Matchmaker Band was the perfect amount of energy for the guests and kept people on the dance floor with great song choices. They kept the crowd engaged throughout the night and we had all ages tearing up the dance floor for the entirety of the reception. The musicians and singers are so talented and will put on a fantastic party. Many of our guests told us throughout the night “this band is awesome!”
Matchmaker Band also managed all cocktail hour and dinner music/playlists and MC needs throughout the night. It was the perfect evening and all guests had a great time thanks to Matchmaker band.

Stop your search, because you’ve just found the BEST wedding band in Austin. And it’s not close. Throughout the planning process, I was adamant that the band is the most impactful ...
element to creating a memorable reception for our guests, and Matchmaker delivered beyond our wildest expectations! From communication and planning, to adapting to our needs with music choices and late changes, to keeping our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT long, I cannot recommend them enough. I had guests all night coming up to me saying how incredible they were, and their music selections were absolutely perfect for the energy we wanted to create on the dance floor. They also performed our first dance song live (All of Me), and it was even more special than the original recording could have been!
Matchmaker Band is THE wedding band for you. Look no further!

Matchmaker played at my son’s wedding in Austin, TX in 2023 and we were blown away! By far the best band we had EVER heard at a wedding. They have multiple singers (both male and f...
emale) so they can cover such a wide variety of songs and really know how to work the crowd and keep the party going. We enjoyed them so much in 2023, that we had to hire them for my wedding celebration in 2024! They were just as amazing and really made our night special. I would definitely recommend you hire them! You won’t regret it!
We had the Matchmaker Wedding Band perform at our wedding reception at the Austin Country Club, and they were absolutely phenomenal! From the moment they started playing, they had ...
everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. Their energy and talent were infectious, creating an unforgettable atmosphere that truly made our special day even more magical.
The band's versatility was impressive, effortlessly covering a wide range of genres that appealed to all our guests. Whether it was a classic love song or a modern hit, they performed each piece with incredible skill and passion. Their seamless transitions and ability to read the crowd ensured that the dance floor was always packed.
The Matchmaker Wedding Band was also a dream to work with. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our event perfect. They took the time to understand our preferences and delivered a performance that exceeded all our expectations.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about the band and how much fun they had. We are so grateful to the Matchmaker Wedding Band for providing the soundtrack to our perfect night. If you're looking for a wedding band that will make your reception unforgettable, look no further. They are simply the best!
Thank you, Matchmaker Wedding Band, for an incredible evening!
Our wedding was an absolute smashing success, and we owe a huge part of that to The Matchmaker Band. They went above and beyond by learning our First Dance song—even though it was ...
previously unfamiliar to them—and performed it with amazing musical craftsmanship. It sounded just like the original recording!
Each member of the band is a fabulous entertainer. The way they engaged our guests and encouraged them to P-A-R-T-Y was second to none. Their energy and charisma were contagious, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
In my opinion, The Matchmaker Band is hands down the best event band in Texas. My advice to anyone planning an event: do NOT scrimp on the band. It truly makes all the difference. Everyone who attended our wedding has been raving about how it was the best wedding they have EVER attended. Long after the food and cake are forgotten, our guests will remember the incredible performance by The Matchmaker Band—probably for years to come!
Thank you, Moontower Entertainment and The Matchmaker Band, for making our wedding day extraordinary!
amazing performance by matchmaker. Easily the best investment for our wedding. I had all our guests tell me it was the best wedding band they have ever heard.

ges as the plan evolved.
From the first chord through to the last rambunctious song of the evening, the music and musicians exceeded expectations, and the sound technician was excellent to work with.
A wonderful and unanticipated maneuver was a SEAMLESS transition between Gone to Texas country band, and Matchmaker. It kept the energy high and the dance-floor overflowing. We were afraid of losing guests during transitions, but they were so smooth that we didn’t lose one.
Despite rain at our event everyone involved played and performed in a very professional manner. Our high expectations were not only met, but exceeded!
Fabulous from first contact to end of night! They also played at my older son’s wedding 5 years ago. Professional, great sound, entertaining, easy to work with. Highly recommend fo...

We spent about a year telling all of our friends and family how good Matchmaker was and how excited we were for them, and they did NOT disappoint on the big day. They are truly so ...
talented and know how to get and keep people on the dance floor the whole night. They bring so much energy to the room and know how to engage the crowd and I can't count how many people kept telling us how good the band was. My uncle said "Whatever you paid that band, it wasn't enough". They were a key part of making our wedding a party and we were so thrilled to have them for our day. You will have absolutely no regrets hiring Matchmaker!
There wasn’t a guest I spoke to who did not say - that was the best wedding band I’ve ever heard. You guys put together the best celebration and they were a highlight. Lived up to ...
all top ratings and reviews. My family wants to find their rehearsal spot and company wants them for Christmas party. If you have Ma Maison as the venue, it was like a perfect private concert.
The PDA/Matchmaker Band is outstanding. They were the easiest part of our wedding planning, the most value for our money, and the part of our wedding that our entire family and fr...
iends keep raving about, even after the wedding. They all have complete star power. They asked the bare minimum of questions (a very key factor when there is so much to think about and plan), yet they over-delivered a full concert for our wedding. Coordinated dance moves with amazing engagement. They are a diverse group and have fun takes on all the different songs. They were awesome. They took every bit of our top playlist, and the bottom "don't play" and mixed in songs that we couldn't have begun to ask for but definitely wanted. Our family plans on finding them at any other event/ gig that we can in the future.
This group and band is amazing!! We hired Matchmaker to play at our wedding after listening to them at another venue in town. They are so talented and professional - and they have...
their performance down to a science. You will love it and your guests will love it. Its worth going to one of their shows - you only need to see them once to understand how and why they are so good.
I also want to call out that they are equally as organized and professional in the background. As anyone planning a wedding or an event learns, communication is important. The Moontower team is phenomenal to work with and made our lives super easy.
If the band/music is important to you. I would recommend Moontower and Matchmaker 100%

PDA was everything I had hoped!! The entire dance floor was filled the full night and overflowing with people. We got so much feedback from guests that they have never seen a dance floor that packed for the entire reception.
PDA is so engaging, high energy, and has the best choreography. It was one of my top priorities to have the reception be a total party, so band was high on my list. It was single handedly probably my best decision to book PDA. If you are thinking about booking PDA, DO IT. You and your guests will have the time of your life and your guests will rave about how fun the dance floor was!
Had Matchmaker Band play at my wedding and they were phenomenal! Couldn’t have asked for a better performance. The energy, skill, stage presence, everything was top notch. I’ve had...

They play every week at a local bar, so if you are on the edge go check them out in person.
I dealt with Amos and he was very responsive and helpful
Matchmaker was AMAZING! They kept the dance floor packed and every guest commented on how great they were. Our reception was a blast because of them. 10/10 recommend Matchmaker!

er were clear and we had no problem selecting exactly what we wanted. From there, they got a sense of our taste by asking for "must play" and "absolutely do not play" songs to use as a starting point to craft their setlist.
Day of they were professional, punctual, and really set the tone for what was an unforgettable evening.
Our friends were dancing on their chairs before dinner had even ended. It's been a month and a half and they're still talking about how great the band was at our wedding.

Absolutely amazing- made our whole wedding. So much fun , they're incredible and interactive. Everyone is still talking about how amazing the band was.
I cannot begin to put into words how amazing this band is. One of the few things we knew from the beginning of our wedding planning process was that if we could pull of a live band...
, that is what we wanted. We love to dance and our friends/family have always loved a good party. Matchmaker band did the most amazing job keeping everyone entertained and up and dancing all night!!
I dreaded the idea of music selection but they made it so simple with a list of loves and a list of avoids. This took so much stress off of us and they did such a great job picking songs that matched the vibe we told them we were going for and the songs that we provided on our "Love it" list. They also read the room perfectly and did a great job of matching the vibe of the moment.
Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they are very talented entertainers. The singers had matching dance moves and even came out onto the dance floor to interact with people and get everyone hyped up. The number one compliment we got after our wedding was how amazing our band was, and we have had multiple people ask for their information for future weddings/events. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS BAND AGAIN. They are truly amazing and worth every penny you invest if you're looking to have great music for entertainment and dancing.

mos, Drew and Olivia were so responsive about any questions and requests.
Next was the music selection which they give you a list and you pick 10 must plays and 10 do not plays, and they take that and run with it to create the perfect playlist. we also provided first dance, mother son and father daughter dances along with any other details we felt like including like a special request for an intro song.
the day of was seamless and they came in and set everything up. our main hope was that everyone would be out on the dance floor by the end of the night and that was certainly the case with match maker playing. They started off the dinner set playing some great motown classics to ease into the night and with each set they started to play more and more songs to get people moving and shaking. Ultimately reaching a crescendo toward the end of the night with everyone screaming Backstreets back at the top of there lungs (the crowd was mostly 80's and 90's babies). they were so attentive, interactive with the crowd and really just knew what was needed for everyone to have a blast. Highlights: they pulled us up on stage(not planned) to sing one of our requested songs(you don't have to go up there if you don't want, but we were all about it), the soul train dance line that one of the singers initiated. Proud Mary being played where everyone was in a full on dance circle.
couldn't recommend them more!

and being available to us when we wanted to talk things over on the phone. We even asked for a special tribute song before dinner and they did an incredible job. Finally the actual set - Their energy and talent was absolutely off the charts. Can't thank them enough for the incredible evening which could not have been possible without them!
Extremely communicative, easy to work with, listened to all our requests, played awesome music & had everyone on the dance floor all night!

Thank you Matchmaker for being such an important part of the best day our lives!
