Our DJ was Neil and we couldn't have had a greater time with him. Somehow he was able to balance my love for 80s music with my wife's modern pop. Needles to say, the music for the ...
night was amazing. Neil was also a consummate professional when it came to coordinating all of the music and announcements according to our wedding timeline. In addition, the photobooth and uplighting raised the experience to a whole other level. Overall, we had an awesome time working with Maryland's DJ and Neil specifically and would highly recommend them to anyone.
It’s was the most amazing night and amazing party!! The music and the atmosphere remained unstoppable all night long! We are forever grateful for the memories and the fun that was ...
created. Every one of our guests raved about the music and had the best time!!
Harvey was amazing! 10/10. He was extremely prepared and could read the vibe of the event. We had a long playlist with many songs that were slow, so he played some of the slower so...
ngs during dinner and saved the more upbeat songs for dancing. He also respected our wishes about a quiet exit, which worked out because we needed to leave 15 minutes early. And I heard from guests that he kept the party going! The speakers directing music to the dance floor were great so the people with hearing problems could still hear each other at the tables. His attitude was great! He even switched from a polo to a suit when he saw most of our guests came in suits. His announcements didn’t interrupt the flow of music. Overall, he knew what we wanted better than we did!
Maryland DJ provided the audio services for our wedding. In the lead-up to the event, we met with Taylor, and she was very professional and organized. She assigned Steve Hartka as ...
our DJ, and the fit was perfect. After meeting with Steve before the wedding, we were confident he understood the vibe we were going for.
On the wedding day, Steve showed up on time with all the necessary equipment. His organization was great, and he was set up and ready well before the event started. During the ceremony, the microphones worked perfectly with no hiccups, and the aisle music was exactly as planned.
For the rehearsal, Steve was prepared and in control, coordinating with us, our wedding coordinator, and other vendors to make sure everything was timed perfectly. The dance floor was filled consistently, just as we had hoped, and Steve handled all of the music requests from guests while sticking to the play/do-not-play lists we had prepared beforehand.
Overall, it was a tremendous experience, and we highly recommend Maryland DJ. Five stars through and through.
I would also like to give Steve a particular shoutout for two things. First, during the cocktail hour, we decided we wanted to surprise the groomsmen and change their walk-in song to a favorite of the group. Steve obliged and was able to make the change at a moment’s notice, just minutes before the walk-ins started. Second, Steve helped us prank the best man right before he gave his speech. It worked out flawlessly.
We loved everything about Brian our DJ and our sax player as well! They kept the dance floor moving all night! We had some last minute timeline changes with our dances and toasts d...
ue to a delay with the buses and Brian was super flexible, no one even knew things weren’t as originally “planned”! Thanks so much for a great experience!!
Huge thank you to Maryland's DJ for helping us celebrate our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Steve from Maryland's DJ! He kept everyone dancing all night...
as we celebrated our big day! He was extremely professional throughout the entire process and was masterful in matching the energy that we were looking for in a DJ. We also used the Video 360 provided by Maryland's DJ for some super fun videos that captured our guests at our celebration in a unique and special way. It's such a joy to see our friends and family so happy for us and celebrating in their own special way!
Unfortunately I'm going to be extremely biased in my review, as Steve is a personal friend of mine in the Baltimore DJ scene. He did an absolutely amazing job, especially consideri...
ng I didn't even touch the portal or log in once (sorry!) but provided him with a run of show and song selection a few days before. He was super easygoing the day of, especially considering I'm a DJ myself and had a lot of in-the-moment requests/updates to the run of show- he did great and went with the flow! I had my brothers singing our first dance song live, and plugging them in with mics and 1/4 inch jacks for their instruments was no sweat for Steve! He went off-list when it mattered to keep the dance floor alive, and I don't think there was a moment when it died at ALL (and again, as a DJ myself that's the most important part!) Everyone has told me it was the most fun reception they've ever been to- and I know that's because of the music- so A+ for Steve, give him a raise, a promotion- everything! :)
We loved working with Maryland's DJ! Steve was the BEST!! He did an amazing job keeping the energy high and the vibes flowing. He was so great to work with!

Maryland DJ’s were amazing! When I called I spoke to Jordan and gave him a run down of what we were looking for, he said “I got the perfect DJ for you guys!”. Jordan set us up with...
DJ Neil Feldman. We spoke with Neil multiple times leaving up to the wedding over video call. We gave him our style of music we like and some of our favorite songs. Dj Neil told us from the start that he does not just play a premade playlist that is created by the couple, but that he will take our music and the vibe of the wedding and create music on the spot to keep people dancing and the vibes up. Leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day, Dj Neil was very professional and attentive.
Dj Neil lived up to his hype and some. We dance the entire time. Even a week after our wedding we still have people telling us how much fun they had and how good the Dj was.
Neil and the rest of the team was AMAZING! We truly would not have changed a thing. Our guests stayed out on the dance floor all night long which is exactly what we wanted. We’ve h...
ad so many people tell us how awesome our DJ was and how great the music selections were. My husband and I had an absolute blast, we are so thankful to Neil and the team for making our night perfect. I’d give him an 11/10, he was very responsive through the entire planning process and delivered exactly what he said he would. He totally exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much to your team for being such an important part on our day!

y, seamless, & not stressful! He was a perfect match for us. We loved how chill he was. His personality is great & he is extremely knowledgable when it comes to music. Our wedding was a hit, our dance floor was packed & he navigated the requests he knew we would not like perfectly. We can't thank Steve & Marylands DJs enough & would recommend them to all friends & family :)

sional, responsive, and easy to work with. On the day of the event, they nailed it- reading the vibe of the crowd flawlessly and delivering exactly the kind of music we envisioned. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the energy, the music, and especially Chris on sax- he stole the show!

uld need. His playlist during dinner (which we had little input on besides acoustic modern songs) was amazing and people were coming up to us asking for his playlist 😂. Then, he captured exactly what we wanted in terms of songs on the dance floor and kept the energy extremely high which was SO important to me. I literally danced to every single song. We would give him a 10/10!!
Without a doubt, he’s the best DJ we ever got. He never hesitated one time even when we switch things up he just wait with it. Kept the party going all night was so nice and accomm...
odating to all my guest. Brian is in must have for a DJ I can’t talk enough about him. He was great. I truly mean every word he was amazing thank you so much. The party was so fun. It’s all because of you.

e professional throughout the day.
Our ceremony went on without a hitch, even with our family friend playing the keyboard at our outside ceremony space with support from Neil. He executed any announcements that we had flawlessly and made sure all of our guests knew exactly what was going on throughout the evening.
When it came to the dance floor, Neil knew exactly how to keep the party going. I am very particular about the music played on the dance floor, and Neil took my playlist and really made it into his own. I felt that all the songs that I wanted to hear were played, and Neil masterfully read the room and played songs that he knew would elevate it to the next level. The dance floor was completely full the entire time, it was truly a wonderful experience.
I would enthusiastically recommend Maryland DJ for your event, they really came through for us! Thanks again Neil!

was so easy to use and add our favorite songs along with our do not plays. At the reception, Steve kept the party going all night long. He read the room and knew just what to play to get everyone out on the dance floor! I would highly recommend anyone planning a wedding to hire a DJ from here!
Maryland’s DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our ori...
ginal intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. People said music was one of the best parts of our wedding. Can’t recommend Maryland’s DJ enough!
We had a wonderful experience working with Maryland's DJ! The team was easy to work with, very responsive, and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. DJ Neil was fantastic!...
! Our dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until the very last song of the night. It was exactly what we had hoped for. We would definitely recommend Neil and the entire Maryland’s DJ team!

Maryland's DJ, we knew we had found the right place. They were friendly, attentive, and professional, matching us with the perfect DJ based on our preferences. As my spouse and I love early 2000s pop punk, we got matched with Steve Hartka.
Friends, Steve is the MAN. His enthusiasm for his job is infectious, and he took such care to get to know us as a couple. He was able to balance our preferences with curating the perfect party that felt like ours. He did not miss a beat, no lull, not even one. He started with party favorites to get everyone dancing, moving to dance hits to keep everyone dancing, ending with well-chosen rock. The songs blended well and felt like the work of a true professional.
Steve did such an amazing job that we had people complimenting us all night. By the end, nearly our entire wedding was praising Steve by name. Our evening was absolutely amazing, a large part due to Steve.
Worth every penny!
We cannot say enough great things about DJ Steve! From the moment we connected, he was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with. He truly listened to our vision for...
the wedding and brought it to life with his amazing DJ skills.
Steve perfectly set the tone for every part of the evening. During the cocktail hour, he played timeless classics by Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, creating an elegant and classic vibe. As dinner began, he transitioned seamlessly into some lively swing music, which added so much energy to the room. When it was time to party, Steve went through the decades, playing all the hits from the ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. We sang and danced our hearts out to all of our favorites. He read the crowd perfectly, and the dance floor was packed all night long! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had and how sore they were from all the dancing, and we owe so much of that to Steve’s ability to keep the energy going all night. People only really took breaks to grab another drink.
Thank you Steve for being such a pleasure to work with and for making our special day so incredible!

mediately and was able to deliver to it flawlessly. They were very flexible and helped up think through a lot of details. The wedding was a success to Steve and his team. The portal to add songs is super helpful as well as the form to pin down the specifics of both the ceremony and the reception. Highly recommend hiring Marylan'd DJ!!

s had us covered. With the hundred other wedding things we were managing, not worrying about the DJ situation was a massive plus. So a kudos to you for your professionalism and the help you showed us when we were still shopping around and trying to get a sense of things.
Most of the credit should go to Steve. What a legend. I’m not sure he even knew where Moldova was on a map before our wedding day but they’d give him a citizenship after the party he threw for us all. 10/10 service, will recommend Steve and you guys for any weddings our friends have.
We weren’t the most organized bunch, but he sat down with us and went through all the forms and song choices. We felt that we really aligned on our music preferences and he understood the wedding vibe we were going for. We also had a few traditions we needed to do and he helped us through it all! The party was so great we even made arrangements with him to stay later.
Again thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding night the happiest evening of our lives!
We would love to say the service was a 10! Everyone enjoyed the night and everything went smoothly.
The music worked for every age range and so happy we chose you guys as our DJ, ...

We had some issues with USPS and check delivery/cashing, but they quickly worked out a solution with us as soon as issues were discovered. Even with a diverse music taste and a wide age range, Steve kept the dance floor hopping from start to finish. He was even able to adjust on the fly to my wedding party's last-minute entrance changes. Our guests RAVED about the music and I can't recommend Steve and the team enough for any occasion. Thank you for making our special day so amazing.

to us when we were discussing volume/ the Horah. Tyler and I were worried about music too loud; Brian did a wonderful job with that. On the dance floor, we could hear everything fine and by the tables we could talk at a good level! Moreover, for the Horah we asked for the moms/ dads to be lifted together and he did that, too. No complaints! During the ceremony and introductions he played all the correct songs, too! :D
In conclusion, we were thrilled with the services and glad I asked my friend for her DJ company from her wedding in September of 2023. We will be recommending y'all!

It was such a pleasure working with you all, thanks for such an unforgettable night!

he was supposed to have some help, which unfortunately fell through, but we honestly had no idea until after the party. Steve went above and beyond and made it a very special event. He made us the center of attention, he had a perfect playlist, and mixed in our requests as well. We honestly can’t think of anything that didn’t go perfectly with Steve.
On a scale of 1-10, Steve was a true 11. Throughout the entire process he was communicative, attentive, and understood our vision.

He kept our reception moving after getting behind due to a transportation issue which delayed the wedding. He was able to readjust and make sure the essentials happened, and happened well!
