Marry Us in Mich

f the most special day. We got legally married before our destination wedding in Cancun and it was way more amazing than a court house which was the original plan. We are so grateful. Amazing communication and such a big heart that was shared with all of us. THANK YOU ROY🙏🙏🙏❤️

ted on how intimate and beautiful the ceremony was. He is the best!! And our gift will be a treasure to us. Thank you Roy!

l of joy! Also, we could tell that Roy & his wife truly cared about us & the success of our marriage! They even blessed us with books & special materials to help us succeed as a married couple! We highly recommend “Marry Us in Mich” to help make your ceremony extra special & memorable!

was a joy to work with him. He is very kind, was genuinely happy for us and willing to work with us. Thank you Roy!

coming presence instantly calmed any nerves, and his gentle confidence guided us through every part of the ceremony. He struck the perfect balance between heartfelt and lighthearted — sharing wisdom and sincerity while having our guests laughing at all the right moments. Every detail felt special, personal, and meaningful. What made it even more profound was knowing that Roy has been married to his beautiful wife for 50 years. Being married by someone who has truly lived and continues to walk out the wisdom he shared made our ceremony that much more inspiring and unforgettable. We are so grateful to have had Roy as our officiant and could not recommend him more highly.

have a Godly marriage, another book about what to do if marriage gets tough, and even my personal favorite a personalized bible with our names throughout the whole thing! Roy even let my husband use his wedding ring as a ring exchange and joked around with my husband and I! This was hands down the best experience! I definitely recommend Roy if your wedding needs!!

with wonderful pre-marriage resources and gave us the freedom to fully customize our ceremony, making it deeply personal and meaningful. On the big day, his warmth and sincerity created such a beautiful atmosphere, many of our guests commented on how touching and genuine it was. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant!

us as a couple through meeting through zoom. He catered to our needs and let us read the ceremony, and choose from many different readings and samples. Roy was responsive and caring, and did a great ceremony that our guests are still talking about! He is a great human!

essional person! We really appreciated that he took the time to get to know us and made sure that we had a truly personal ceremony. He had us and our guests smiling and laughing the whole time. We couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding! Definitely have Rev. Roy Thomas officiate your wedding and you will have a heartfelt and beautiful experience.

couples he works with and gives them the tools for a successful marriage, before, during, and after the wedding. We were blessed to have him marry us!

we changed the script, he followed with a smile. We are so happy we chose Roy to officiate our wedding!

emony was perfect. Thank you!

ssed. It was short, scripted and very impersonal. We decided to hire our own officiant. We found Rev. Roy Thomas on The Knot and after a wonderful Zoom meeting with him decided to hire him. I could tell from our first meeting he was not in this for the money. He truly cares about his couples and wants their weddings to be unforgettable, which ours was! I cannot tell you how meaningful, personalized and engaging our ceremony was. Our guests told us it was the most touching ceremony they have ever been to. He truly has a gift for what he does and his words come from the heart. If you are in need of a minister look no further, Rev. Roy is AMAZING!

anyone wishing to be married in Michigan. Thank you so much reverend Roy Thomas!!!!

pointers before the ceremony. Don't have a stranger officiate your wedding. We felt like we had known Roy for a while making us feel comfortable and joyous.

of which were very good. My husband and I picked whichever options we liked best to string together a perfect length ceremony for our intimate wedding. While we loved his writing, Roy is very flexible and will let you include whatever you wish to edit or add to your ceremony as well. He was super responsive throughout the whole process and was an absolute joy to meet in person the day of our wedding. Thank you Roy!! :)

happy my fiancé and I were with him. Not only did we think he was great, but I also had family members come up and tell me what a fantastic job he did (and how kind he was). He was a pleasure and I highly recommend him for your wedding officiant!

omfortable! We had decided against having a rehearsal and he still walked us through our ceremony over the phone the week before our wedding which was so great! Thank you so much Roy and Faye for the beautiful card and books, which we can’t wait to read! I highly recommend booked Reverend Roy Thomas as a wedding officiant!

The Knot as a suggested vendor for my area and I'm so glad I found him! He provides so much more than just a ceremony speech when you sign up with him! He was so comforting to have on the day of and really helped guide us through the ceremony. We even gave us such a beautiful gift afterwards that will add to our growth as newlyweds. You won't be disappointed choosing Roy as your officiant!

ected in October of 2020. Upon meeting Reverend Roy and after listening to him speak, we knew we had found the perfect match! He spoke of the trials and tribulations of marriage, and of how rewarding the bond between husband and wife could be. We booked him right away, but sadly we had to postpone our wedding twice due to Covid and an unexpected pregnancy. Throughout the chaos of rescheduling all of our vendors and informing our guests of our decision to postpone, Reverend Roy could not have been more accommodating and patient. He was always quick to answer any questions we had, and always did so in a professional manner. He drove over an hour to the venue the night before the wedding so that we were able to hold a rehearsal, and he did so without complaint. When wedding time rolled around, he reached out frequently to see if we needed anything. Selecting readings was very simple and hassle free. He was always open to any suggestions and changes we wished to make. On the big day, Reverend Roy checked in on me while I was in hiding several times to see how I was holding up (probably making sure I wasn't getting cold feet! LOL!). Our ceremony readings were absolutely beautiful and completely personalized to our love story. We were even able to add a "Prayer for the Family" into our ceremony since there was a blending of families taking place. It was such a beautiful moment, including my stepdaughters and son into the ceremony. After the ceremony, we received so many compliments on how beautiful the service was. Many of my guests approached me throughout the night saying how touched they were by the service. Many said they were in tears throughout the entire ceremony! We are so grateful to have found Reverend Roy on The Knot and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a professional, yet caring officiant. With that said, thank you Reverend Roy for everything you do!

pful tips, not only when it came to his part in the ceremony, but for timing, flow, and tips to get the best pictures. We were able to customize the ceremony so that it fit our personalities and seemed more personal. We got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony was. We highly recommend Rev. Roy Thomas!

s more than welcoming to help us out and AT HIS HOME!! We provided different vows to use and were open to amending a few words. He is a man of God which meant a lot to us. I would use and recommend him to anyone. The literature he provides about marriage and how the Lord ordained it and sees us through His eyes is an amazing read.

mmunication we knew he was perfect for us! The first email had all the information we could ever want, the phone call/ Skype with him was so easy, felt like we were talking to someone we knew forever. The actual ceremony was 100% customized by us for us, and Roy had recommendations which were amazing. Our family came up to us after and just had so many compliments about our ceremony and the “family” promise/vows with our kids then the salt lemon honey part. I was worried when we ran into our bump in the road but no I am so thankful it did because we had the perfect day with the help of Roy. Seriously 10/10 recommend! Thank you so much Roy for making our day perfect
