About this vendor
Three words we’ve held close to our hearts our entire lives.
Before the ring.
Before our 1 year.
Before our first kiss.
Before we knew what even love was.
We’ve dreamed of those three magical words. Nights were spent talking about them with our friends as we planned each and every detail. From our dress to the music playing as we walk down the aisle. With every new relationship “Happily Ever After” was always there – sometimes stronger than other times.
And then one day, we meet this person, and they breathe a new life into those words.
We no longer think of them in terms of pretend.
1 month becomes 1 year.
I like you becomes I love you.
“Will you marry me?” becomes, “I do.”
This special day should be handled with the same love and care you’ve given it all these years. With every detail planned, every moment accounted for.
These are the photos that will capture the dream of a little girl.
The girl who lived Happily Ever After.

h a wonderful support during the planning process and has such a loveable personality. Engagement photos were a dream! On the day of the wedding her organization and smiles made the day run so smoothly. We had so many family and friends commenting how much they loved our photographer. Every single photo she took was perfect. Hire Marlaina if you want beautiful photos, a stress free day, and a new friend.
5 stars is not even close to enough stars. Where do I even begin, from the day that I first spoke with Marlaina I knew she was the photographer for me. We have not only done our en...
gagement/ wedding photos but I also did a mini shoot with her for winter. I can not wait to continue the friendship that has blossomed and continue using Marlaina for all steps in my photography needs. Marlaina got me a sneak peak less than 24 hours from saying I do, I can not wait to see the rest of my photos. I have recommended her to my family/ friends really any one who tells me they are looking. She meshed well with my family and it was a blast just having her around! I am absolutely in love with the work that she does and am in love with the sneak peak.

as dealing with all age groups and was very patient in getting them set up for their pictures. Her pictures were delivered in a timely matter and look great. I would recommend her to any one that wants professional pictures. She even took the time to do head shots for me for my business cards.
I will start with, Marlaina is amazing! Words cannot accurately describe how awesome she is! We hired her to shoot our engagement and wedding. I am a pretty detail oriented person ...
and took the time to read reviews and find the right fit with all of my vendors. Marlaina was absolutely the right choice. She was timely, professional, funny and made us feel so comfortable behind the camera. She truly went above and beyond to ensure our day and our photos were perfection. Every little detail was accounted for. Examples: My husband and I didn't practice cutting the cake lol and Marlaina talked us through it on the spot! Then, my dress wouldn't stay bustled. Marlaina dropped everything to help me bustle my dress three times. Little things that she didn't have to do, but did. To recap, she is pleasant, fairly priced and extremely talented. We saw a sneak preview of our pictures and WOW. I highly recommend Marlaina and will surely use her in the future to capture all of our moments!
I want to give all the stars to Marlaina. She is the most genuine human being and it shows in the work that she does. Her energy throughout the entire day made everyone feel at eas...

recommendations in Detroit as well as her ability to work with our dogs on our special day. And of course she is a great communicator, punctual, produces great work, and is super reasonable with her quotes.
We're looking forward to receiving our full shoot flash drive and cannot recommend Marlaina more highly. Thanks again!
Laine photographed our wedding last fall. Love all the pictures so much and so happy with how they turned out.
She collects what you want and still does her own thing to provide ...
you with the best service and pictures of your day!
Thanks Laine!
My wife may have booked the wedding photographer (and pretty much everything else), but I couldn't have been happier with Marlana Churluck Photography. She thought about making the...
bride happy, of course, but also made sure I (the groom) was getting what I wanted to take from our big day. Because sometimes people forget that it is OUR day not just the bride's day. Marlaina asked me what I wanted and made sure that I was happy with what was going on as well. She was creative and a pleasure to work with. You could tell she wanted to be there. That she cared about our day. We were both so happy with how the pictures turned out! We will be calling her for pregnancy photos when that day comes!
Marlaina was amazing to work with and very professional. My wife and I are very grateful she was available on such short notice. She came made sure to cover the details with us bef...
orehand a few times, just to make sure everyone was on the same page. She arrived even earlier than she said she would, and came very prepared. We could not have found a better photographer, or one that was willing to re-shoot photos to make sure the lighting was perfect.
Once again, thank you so much Marlaina for the wonderful experience.
Marlaina is a great photographer! She comes prepared with her own ideas and creative photo ideas, but also is flexible and allows couples to do any shots they want to do. Can’t rec...
ommend enough!
I have so many fantastic things to say about Marlaina. I hired her to photograph my surprise proposal (spoiler, she said yes). Marlaina helped me pick a location and met me there a...
week earlier to plan out the proposal. The day of, she showed up an hour early to make sure everything was good to go and coordinate some family members. Everything went off without a hitch and I owe so much of that to her. After we parted ways, she made edits and sent them over to us that night! I was blown away with how they turned out. She really works hard and it shows in her photography. I would not hesitate for a second to hire her for your wedding or other photography needs. Thank you so much!!!
Great Photographer! She took my engagement photos and they look awesome! very professional.

punctual not only with the initial shoot but with our photographs. We got them back pretty fast, and they turned out great. Her work is very creative, you can see how much dedication she puts into her pictures. She picked out a wonderful spot in Detroit, you can tell she knows her stuff and will pick the best possible spot for your shoot. Couldn't have asked for a better person to work with, and she will be the first photographer we contact in the future for any other pictures we may need.

t experience. Marlaina shot my engagement photos and they turned out more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. My fiance and I didn't have too high of a budget, so Marlaina worked with us and got us such a fantastic deal. It was unreal and I'll never be able to repay her for her amazing customer service and how much she cares about her clients. Any time I get the chance, I always recommend Marlaina Cherluck Photography!
