Marion Magnolia Farm is a barn and farm wedding venue located in Cassopolis, MI. Tucked away between the picturesque towns of Cassopolis and Dowagiac, this rural property has a restored barn originally built in the 1800s. You and your beloved can enjoy a perfect blend of rural charm, vintage industry, and contemporary ambience on this venue and grounds. As a couple, you may make memories with your guests in these welcoming surroundings.
Marion Magnolia Farm offers a variety of spaces in which to hold your special festivities. You can exchange your vows outdoors, where you and your guests may enjoy the splendid countryside as a memorable backdrop for your celebration. Afterward, you can wander to the event barn as newlyweds, along with your witnesses and loved ones. The exterior of the barn is one of modern luxury, creating a pleasant contrast with the rustic atmosphere of the interior. Inside, the barn walls and exposed beams are wooden, offering a warm and inviting setting to celebrate your union. Seven vintage crystal chandeliers and string lighting can further enhance the atmosphere of your occasion as you sit to dine at wooden tables. The beautiful and handcrafted bar provides a great backdrop for seasoned bartenders to offer beverages.
The Marion Magnolia Farm is available for single-faith, multi-faith, and non-religious wedding ceremonies, as well as other celebrations. The venue staff offers planning, bartending, and the use of rental items. A 150-year-old refurbished oak table makes a wonderful place for your wedding cake or gifts.

Hi!
My name is Brittany!
I am actually a dental hygienist who had big dreams ever since collage to run and manage a wedding venue. These dreams turned into a reality when my husband and I found an old dairy farm for sale. With a little elbow grease and a lot of time invested, we have turned a regular barn into a beautiful new, masterpiece.
My biggest goals for all my events is to see the bride and groom having their own magical day in a place that is as beautiful and elegant as they are.
My dreams are to make your wedding dreams come true, let me help you invision that here at MMF!

This venue is beautiful and dreamy, with chandeliers, a bridal suite, wildflower/sunflower fields, and a peaceful outdoor ceremony site. The staff and day-of coordinator were attentive and accommodating, handling rehearsal, setup/teardown, and even assisting a guest during a medical incident. Guests praised the setting and service, and couples would choose it again.Review photos

Everything started off great. We are from out of town, and the venue accommodated us by allowing a tour on a day they don’t typically offer them. Unfortunately, after we booked and...
paid our deposit, our experience began to decline.
We reached out to the recommended coordinator, Lauren, who confirmed she was available for our wedding date. We made multiple attempts to contact her and the venue about moving forward, but never received a response from Lauren. We were later told by the owner, Brittany, that Lauren had been on vacation from September 2025 through January 2026, which seemed highly unusual.
Per the contract, couples receive a final walkthrough approximately one month before the wedding. Because we live 500 miles away, it was verbally agreed during our initial tour that ours would be done via FaceTime. Scheduling it was a struggle, and we ultimately had to involve our independently hired coordinator to facilitate communication.
The night before our wedding, my coordinator informed me that the venue claimed we had never paid our $1,000 deposit, which was due 30 days before the wedding. Being told I might not be allowed into my own venue less than 12 hours before the event was incredibly stressful, especially since we had paid on time. This should have been verified before such an alarming accusation was made. All payments were handled through Venmo, and the repeated communication and organizational issues were concerning. We also had to remind Brittany to return our security deposit.
The issues continued on our wedding day. The cocktail tables were not arranged according to the finalized layout Brittany had helped us create over FaceTime. We had specifically requested that the barn doors be open, but they were still closed when we arrived for cocktail hour. My coordinator and photographer had to open them themselves. Communication regarding the venue’s bar services was also difficult, as I had to send multiple emails before receiving a response.
One of the most upsetting incidents involved my groomsmen using an empty beer box from our Airbnb to carry their boutonnieres. The beer had been purchased by us, and no alcohol was brought to the venue. Nevertheless, Brittany confronted our coordinator and accused the groomsmen of stealing alcohol from the venue’s cooler. We had no idea where the venue kept its cooler, making the accusation especially frustrating and unnecessary.
Planning a wedding is stressful enough without repeatedly chasing venue management, worrying about whether payments have been documented, and dealing with accusations. Our wedding day thankfully turned out beautifully, and the venue itself is gorgeous. However, I cannot credit the venue owners for how smoothly the day went. That was thanks to the vendors we hired ourselves, particularly our coordinator, DJ, and photographer, who helped resolve multiple issues.
I don’t regret choosing this venue because the space is beautiful, but the experience of working with the owners left much to be desired. Communication, organization, and professionalism matter just as much as the venue itself, and those things were consistently lacking. Based on our experience, I would have a hard time recommending this venue to another couple.

Had a feeling this would be our wedding venue the very first time we stepped foot on the property. From the chandeliers and bridal suite to the wildflower/sunflower fields and outd...
oor ceremony site - it is absolutely gorgeous!
We also booked Natalie for day-of coordination, and she was incredibly helpful from the moment we hired her. Natalie helped put us at ease by answering all of our questions, leading the rehearsal, and helping with setup and teardown. We are so happy with our decision!

We booked Marion Magnolia for our wedding venue in April 2024. The site was beautiful and Brittany was very welcoming. We had our 60-day on-site visit with their coordinator, Laure...
n, and walked out in the ceremony space and there was a new, 16-foot cross to the left of where the bridesmaids stand. We were intentional about not choosing a religiously affiliated space, so this came as a surprise to us. Lauren handled the situation with SO MUCH GRACE! We requested to hang something on the cross that would be non-invasive (like a drape strapped to it) to cover it. Brittany asked me 1) if I could move our ceremony indoors OR 2) if I could have our officiant say that it doesn't align with our views. After I told her no due to those suggestions compromising our day, she spoke to her husband. She then blatantly had me clarify with her that the reason we didn't want it shown is because it didn't align with our views. They then came back and said we could 1) put something in front of it - not touching it OR staked into the ground (mind you, it is TALL on a small hill, so nearly impossible), 2) give us our money back or 3) pay for us to have it at a different venue. At that point, we got the vibe that they did not want us at their venue and were not willing to work with us even though there was NO communication, minimal pictures of the cross on their socials/website, their marketing on their website changed since we booked them (now says "serving christ") AND their Knot profile still said multi, single and non-religious ceremonies welcome. We called our second option (Sundance & The Secret Garden - amazing!!). Come to find out, MMF has GHOSTED a same sex couple after they toured and when confronted about it said they don't marry same sex couples. What a shame to be in the business of celebrating love but not celebrating ALL LOVE.

I would have loved to give this place a 5 star review because it is absolutely beautiful and would have made our special day extra special BUT if you are a same-sex couple steer cl...
ear of it. After my fiancée and I toured the venue, we decided we were going to book it. After going back and forth with Brittany on setting our date (a date she told us was a available), out of no where she told me that date was booked and did not answer my follow up emails for over a month. My mother finally got ahold of Brittany who told her that date was actually available. But when my mother asked if the reason why I was told otherwise was because we were same-sex, Brittany told her as of now they are not allowing same-sex marriages to take place at their venue.
Now I am all for people having their own opinions and beliefs. But what bothered me was Brittany wasting our time by allowing us to view the venue and get our hopes up with booking. It would have just been nice to know from the start so we didn’t waste the last 3 months planning for this venue.
So if you’re an opposite sex couple, go for it! The venue is beautiful and would make your day extra perfect. If you’re a same sex couple, find somewhere else so you don’t get your hopes up.

e visiting, but we knew without even talking to each other that our wedding HAD to happen at MMF! The staff is incredible, and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed and more, including checking on a family member who had had a medical incident at our wedding and making sure they had everything they needed and more. Not only that, but you CANNOT beat the setting of this venue. It's quiet, it's peaceful, and its beautiful. We received numerous compliments from our guests saying it was one of the best wedding venues they had EVER been to. We would do it all over again if we could! Brittany, Nick, and Lauren are the best, and we can never thank them enough! Book now!!

n this venue is STUNNING! My husband and I recently got married here, and I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place. The barn itself is gorgeous, the bridal suite is perfectly set up, and the sunflower field just tops it off. We had no doubt in our minds when we booked this place that it would be the perfect place to get married. Brittany was able to put our minds at ease about every aspect of the planning process, and on the day itself she and her assistant Loren was there the ENTIRE day making sure everything ran smoothly. Any time I had a question about something, I could contact her and she got back to me right away. One look at this place, and you will fall in love. If I could do it all over again, I would book this place one hundred times over. BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!
