I personally know nothing about greenery or flowers, but the natural botanical beauty of the Blue Dress Barn venue makes it impossible not to want the entire grounds adorned in you...
r wedding colors. I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Marco Alexzondra Floral & Event Design. His brilliant tonal accentuation of the prescribed color palette and genius use of flower variety in every arrangement is truly a work of art. Before meeting Marco the more I researched the more discouraged I felt in terms of finding real flowers that would tie together the different hues of my bridesmaids. Natural blue colored flowers are rare, and in Michigan during the month of August most people would suggest changing your vision. Not Marco. While it may be impossible to bend the laws of nature, Marco can blend nature so well it appears to be of the natural order. Not only is he incredibly talented and brimming with passion and wisdom for his craft, he's insanely patient and kind. Our conversations sometimes lasted hours, and I sent swatch after swatch to his doorstep trying to come up with my theme. For every road block he only offered advice, knowledge, and kindness. If you are looking for floristry no one has ever had or maybe you have an idea that feels impossible to bring to life after spending hours on the internet doomsday scrolling - I implore you to check Marco out. His uniquely curated designs are breathtaking. Let's put it this way: I spent nearly as much money preserving his work when it was all said and done. If that is not a tell all, I’m not sure what is. I love Marco, his work, and of course the crown of flowers that he created that I wore at my reception!
I am so glad we hired Marco for our wedding florals. He was magnificent. The day of the wedding, I was beyond impressed about how all the florals looked. It was more amazing than I...
even envisioned. Him and his team are beyond talented. Throughout the process of wedding planning, Marco was super communicative and helpful. He was thoughtful in helping me stay as close to my budget as possible. I also appreciated how he worked with my other vendors as well to make our day as fabulous as possible. Marco truly cares about his clients. I couldn't recommend him enough!!! Thank you for everything.
Marco is a dream to work with! He was recommended to me and I sent him some vision boards and be brought everything to life. He is so knowledgeable and makes stunning arrangements!...

million questions as someone who doesn't know much about flowers (or weddings). He made a wonderful memorial chair for the father of the bride and hair pieces for the bride and bridal party. I wouldn't have wanted to have anyone else do the flowers for our wedding!
We enjoyed working with Marco so much! He is such a kind person, brings so much enthusiasm, a strong point of view, and offers tons of knowledge of the industry. He spent many hour...
s planning with us, including several calls with me, and several more with my wedding planner.
The days leading up to the wedding he spent so much time on site getting our tent set up, going above and beyond by cleaning the dance floor and tables we received from other vendors, and probably much more that I'm not even aware of.
I'm still sooo thrilled with the results, especially the vines hung within the tent, my bouquet, and our arbor. Absolute dream come true.
5 stars: lovely to work with, great results, would absolutely recommend

arco Alexzondra Floral & Event Design on The Knot. He was so thoughtful, quick to respond, and gave me multiple floral options within my budget that matched what I was looking for. Marco also reused my ceremony flowers at reception which was even more budget friendly and added extra elegance to our reception space. I had a very specific image in mind of what flowers I wanted, and Marco executed this perfectly. He created stunning bouquets, delicate bud vases, amazing large centerpieces, and BEAUTIFUL ground meadow pieces (it was difficult finding a florist who makes these). What makes everything even better is that when I told my family I booked Marco, they knew a handful of other people who have used and loved his work for other special events. Because of this, I knew I made the right decision. I am so happy I booked Marco for my wedding day!
Marco's flowers blew me away! The flowers were exactly what I was looking for in color and in design, and he was happy to work within my budget and accommodate my ideas of repurpos...
ing flowers to have multiple uses throughout the day! He was very professional & quick to respond, had great recommendations for how to best utilize my budget, and has votive and vase rental options so you don't have to buy extra items.
Can't recommend him enough!
Marco was absolutely wonderful and certainly our favorite vendor we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. In the beginning of our planning process, we had a general ...
idea of what we were looking for and Marco was able to distill our thoughts into a beautiful vision. He was so helpful with his recommendations and guidance based on the ideas we had brought to the table. All throughout the wedding planning process working with Marco, we knew that he cared just as much (if not more!) about how good everything looked. On the day of our wedding, everything went so smoothly thanks to Marco's care and attention to detail. We would absolutely recommend Marco for any couple, any event!

Thank you Marco for making Alex and I 's day so memorable and whimsical and turning my dreams into a reality! I highly recommend Marco and his team for their wedding if they are looking for someone who has an eye for floral design and so very pleasant to work with ( as many wedding vendors are not!)

Marco’s love of his work truly shows in each of his designs, and I feel lucky to have found him at an event hosted by Journeyman Distillery. I would happily recommend him to a friend for any event.

n person. Marco did an initial video meeting with us and was very communicative about everything thereafter. Price was something he wholeheartedly took into consideration as we made our decisions and he made sure we got as much value as possible within our budget. We ended up giving him limited direction on how to approach decorating and he was able to put together a flawless design in all regards. Thank you Marco!

Marco was a pleasure to work with. He was very detailed oriented, and have some good ideas around arrangement and centerpieces. You can let him know your vision and be specific on ...
what you want, and he will work around what you want, it helps to provide illustration and inspiration pictures to him. I sent him some inspiration of my color theme (muted tones of purple), and he made it happen. I was honestly quite surprised when i saw my bouquet, i didn't require them to look exactly the same, but they were very very similar to the inspiration pics i showed him! He was also a pleasure to talk to, even though he's super busy you can tell he try to make time to talk to you and go over things in details. I talked to 3 other florists prior to hiring Marco, and his price was by far the most reasonable. Be sure to shop around - any thing with a "bridal" or "wedding" price tag on it is bound to have inflated prices, i have gotten quotes twice the price of what we paid for i would think the same amount of flowers.
I couldn’t have asked for a better florist! The flowers were beautiful and exactly how I envisioned it. I sent some pictures and had a couple conversations and then they made my vi...

If you are having a wedding within his service area, I would highly recommend considering Marco for your floral and design needs.

process. His creativity and understanding allowed him to capture and visualize all of our ideas just as we imagined them. Marco was respectful of our budget and we were blown away with his work! The bouquets were gorgeous and the suspended floral arrangement that was used for our ceremony and reception was STUNNING! Marco also gave us a great idea of using wooden flowers which ended up being our favorite part of the bouquets. We highly recommend Marco and his team!
We found Marco through Instagram, and after falling in love with his work, we knew we had to have him for our wedding.

so easy to work with, making sure we got the exact experience we wanted. Even with a postponement, Marco's goal was to make sure we were happy. We embraced his artistic expression, and it absolutely paid off. Everything from the bouquets to the smaller touches around the venue were great. With gum, snapdragons, succulents, dahlias, and more, the floral complemented our venue and look so well.
We would absolutely recommend Marco Alexzondra Floral & Event Design to anyone in the area. You won't be disappointed.
Marco was wonderful to work with. I had a vision of what I was dreaming and he made it even better!

timeline. I thought he was amazing, I would absolutely use him again, but I was not a picky bride who wanted control over the minutest of detail. Once you get on his schedule, you're on it and don't worry when you haven't heard from him for a while. Once his focus is on you, it's all on you! But it may be closer to your wedding day than your initial consultation with him. His vision is unique and so will your flowers be! I gave him a budget, colors, and what I didn't want and left the rest up to him. I wouldn't change a thing!

make my vision for my florals reality but he exceeded my expectations. I will forever remember the beautiful bouquets he created for my special day. I saved A LOT of the flowers to press at home or do other fun crafts with as they were too beautiful to just toss.
To those in search of a florist in the area, I HIGHLY recommend Marco. You won’t be disappointed.
Exceeded my expectations. He took my "unique" vision and went to town on it. Love every single bit of detail he meticulously added. Truly an amazing artist.
Marco created beautiful designs, within our budget & worked with us to provide the most amazing day. He was upfront with costs, how we can add and subtract to create the vision we ...
wanted and gave us honest input to make sure our florals were stunning. Professional, timely, and a master of his craft. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a florist on their special day.

made a large swag for above the barn door that was so amazing and the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and the wedding head table. He was so easy to work with. I would say just give him a little direction and let him work his magic in his floral creations!!!!
