of the coolest venues to experience as a guest for the first time - driving through the mountains, dropping into the valley, and then watching the vastness of Manzanita Hollow open up in front of you. Once you see the open-air timber pavilion, you just know it's going to be a good time. It's an incredible place for both photos and video. There are endless photo opportunities all over the property. The owners and staff are some of the friendliest, kindest, and most fun people you’ll ever meet. They work hard to make sure that everyone has an incredible experience - the couple, their guests, the wedding party, and vendors. I can't say enough positive things!

ve our Catholic ceremony at our church and used Manzanita Hollow solely for our reception, yet we still paid full venue and package pricing. One of the reasons we chose this venue was because of the beautiful property, scenic views, and the Event Coordination and Day-of Coordination represented throughout the planning process. Their own materials identified Kristin Dodson as the Event Coordinator and Timeline Coordinator, and our wedding planner confirmed with the venue multiple times that someone from the venue would be present to cue events and help manage the flow of the evening. Despite repeated assurances, our planner and vendors were left trying to manage much of the evening themselves. Due to the lack of coordination, several key moments were missed or not executed as planned, which significantly impacted the flow of our reception. Had we known this level of coordination would not be provided, we would have hired our own coordinator or chosen a different venue. We relied on repeated assurances that coordination would be provided. None of us expected perfection. However, after signing a written contract nearly a year in advance and making decisions based upon the services represented to us throughout the planning process, we expected professionalism, follow-through, and the level of support that had been promised. The property itself is beautiful, but beautiful scenery alone cannot compensate for a lack of execution and support. Looking back, if I had known our experience would unfold this way, I would have chosen a different venue. If day-of coordination is important to you, I recommend getting very specific answers about what the venue will and will not be responsible for before booking.
