We had our wedding ceremony in the courtyard of the Malaga Inn and it was an absolute dream! The courtyard is gorgeous and Jordan, the owner, and Jennie, the event planner for the...
Malaga, both worked with us to make every last detail of our ceremony perfect, even asking us what our wedding colors were when they were ordering flowers for the courtyard.
All of our wedding guests stayed at the Malaga and everyone commented on how nice everything was and how beautiful the property is itself as well as the surrounding area in downtown Mobile. Our guests loved the location and loved the historical aspect of the hotel. We all enjoyed gathering in the courtyard when the sun was shining and with the heaters and fire pit when it got cold in the evening! After the wedding and reception, the bar at the Inn was open and our guests loved having the option to get together right there where we were all staying!
The staff at the hotel worked with us to make things go perfectly at every step. Jordan and Jennie were both great with communication and both went out of their way to work with us to make us and our guests happy. The courtyard is the perfect setting for a storybook wedding and ours could not have been more beautiful!
Although we did not use the other area of the hotel available as event space, I have attended a wedding there before and it is equally lovely! Thank you so much to everyone at the Malaga for the most perfect weekend and the most beautiful wedding ceremony!!!!
We had our wedding reception at the Malaga Inn and it was not only beautiful and exactly what we wanted, but an overall wonderful experience! From the first inquiry phone call, the...
staff made the entire process easy and pleasurable. Jenny, the events manager, was great to work with and so helpful. We were allowed to bring in our own caterer and the bar at the hotel, Mayme’s, took care of all of the alcohol. All of our out of town guests stayed at the Inn which made things easy logistically and was really convenient. The venue itself is gorgeous (the courtyard is seriously picturesque) and really the perfect spot for a wedding and reception.
We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and recommend it to anyone else looking for the perfect spot for their wedding!
We booked the Malaga Inn for our Wedding. And it was absolutely fantastic. All of our guest that traveled in from all over the country were super pleased with the friendly staff an...
d the beauty of the hotel. If you are looking for a unique and quaint spot for your special day or weekend, you should consider the Malaga Inn.
I wasn’t going to write a bad review because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but then I realized they are “featured” on here which I assume means they want wedding ...
business. I was very excited about this venue in terms of price and how pretty it is, I wanted to sign a contract with them this week. I sent them an email and got a response with rates and to set up and apt. I emailed back once, no response. So I called and setup a time to view the place, the hostess was nice however she didn’t know the answers to the majority of my questions it seemed like they never had a wedding there before. I emailed their email address twice with no response. I called and was told I would hear back from them with the answers to my questions, no response. I contacted them on Facebook and they did reply immediately, but still could offer me no specifics on setting up a rehearsal time. I was told that no weddings there ever had a rehearsal before. I wasted a week of my time trying to setup my wedding with them but as the other review mentioned they don’t seem to really care if people book with them. Multiple other venues responded to me multiple times in the time I was waiting to just get an answer to some basic questions from them.
