About this vendor
āI believe all women are pretty without makeupābut with the right makeup they can be pretty powerful.ā ā Bobbi Brown
Growing up interested in art and dance, I have always found creative ways to showcase beauty. Many years of applying stage makeup and practicing my artwork left me with a passion for makeup and a skill set that comes naturally. Bringing my artistry to makeup was a seamless transition into a rewarding career as a professional Makeup Artist.
With over fifteen years in the makeup industry creating inspired looks for clients comes naturally and is extremely rewarding. I began my career after attending the Long Island Beauty School and have since worked with many high-end brands and artists that have helped me grow into the professional I am today. Joining the makeup team for MAC Cosmetics as my first job was an amazing opportunity. During 6 years with MAC, I was exposed to the glamorous side of makeup through my participation in many celebrity-sponsored events and NY Fashion Week. After years of gaining experience on the makeup team, I moved forward in my career as the manager of Armani Makeup and eventually the Regional Makeup Artist for Smashbox Cosmetics. While I traveled the northeast in my position with Smashbox, my bridal makeup business began to take off and with that, DM Makeup Artistry was born!
Having been on my own with DM Makeup for the past 10 years, I have been able to craft a team of 10 amazing ladies who help me achieve my dream of not only running a successful business, but creating glamorous, high quality makeup looks for an array of client types. I have been so fortunate to work with celebrity clients such as Katherine Narducci (Sopranoās, Netflix movie The Irishmen and Epixās The Godfather of Harlem), Mercedes Javid (Bravoās The Shahās of Sunset), Anne Winters (Netflixās 13 Reasons Why), Kimmie Shields (Netflixās Insatiable), Danielle Staub and Teresa
Giudice(Bravoās RHONJ), and Angelina Pivarnick (Jersey Shore). My work has also been featured in various fashion ad campaigns or events for designer Donna Degnan and Randi Rahm, Pinina Tornai as well as a number of music videos for recording artist, Lisa Pure. My skills brought me to work for celebrities attending high profile events like the Oscars, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild, MTA Music Awards, Hamptons Film Festival, Bravo Con while also giving me the opportunity to work with very talented people in the beauty business.

ay. I truly felt so beautiful and confident, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more.
She is also incredibly sweet, down to earth, and such a calming presence to be around. My mom, who never wears makeup, could not believe how amazing she looked. We love Darian so much and cannot wait to book her again for future events.
My bridesmaids were completely blown away by their makeup looks. The team truly worked magic on every single one of them, everyone looked flawless while still feeling like themselves. Every person on her team was absolutely amazing and clearly knows their stuff when it comes to makeup.
A special shoutout to Mia, who was the sweetest and came back to do touch-ups, she was incredible and so attentive. I am beyond grateful to this team and would recommend Darian without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional makeup artist.

rian was referred to me by my hairdresser and her work truly stood out to me. On my trial days and on my wedding day, Darian made me feel so beautiful and confident, like a true Princess. Also, my makeup lasted flawlessly all night, even through happy tears and hours of dancing. She truly listened to what I wanted, enhanced my natural features, and created a look that was both elegant and timeless. Beyond her incredible talent, she brought such a fun and positive vibes to the morning of my wedding. In fact, she even encouraged one of my bridesmaids to step outside her comfort zone and try some false lashes and it totally enhanced her look! I am so grateful to have had Darian as part of my special day!
I also want to highlight the amazing support I received from Luci throughout the booking process. She was always so quick to respond to my inquiries and questions, no matter how small, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism and attentiveness gave me peace of mind leading up to the big day, and I truly appreciated how organized and accommodating she was.
Darian Marie MUA is the absolute best ! She was recommended to me by a friend who had book her for her wedding. At first I was nervous for the makeup trial since I don't typically ...
wear makeup. That day Darian made me feel so at ease and made me look beautiful. The day of my wedding, she came on time and brought the best vibes. She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day and was so down to earth. The whole time she was jamming to my pre wedding playlist while she did my makeup and my two sisters. I did not feel rushed while sitting to get my makeup done and my makeup was flawless. I paid to have touch ups done, but the makeup held up perfectly the whole day. Her team of two other artists completed my bridesmaids makeup and similar to mine they were flawless. Her booking manager Luci ensures an excellent line of communication and is always following up. She made the process of booking and getting the contract together so seamless. If you are looking for someone who is down to earth and skilled in makeup- you need to book Darian! She can book up fast so scoop her up as fast as you can, you will not be sorry !

Her range is amazingāshe created flawless looks for everyone, from full glam to those who preferred a more natural style, and all of my girls absolutely loved their makeup. The best part? It lasted the entire day and night. My makeup looked just as flawless at 1 a.m. as it did when she first applied it at 10 a.m. She is a true artist!
I wish she could do my makeup for every event I ever have in my life. I cannot recommend Darian enoughāshe is the best of the best.

seamless, and Darian, along with her makeup team, brought the most beautiful looks to life. Adriana worked magic on hair, and together they made me feel more beautiful than I ever have in my entire life.
They were not only responsive but also so flexible! When I needed to add more people last minute, they handled it with ease. The entire team was professional, over-communicative (in the best way), down-to-earth, and so much fun to have around on such an important day.

hower was on a super hot day in July and my makeup did not move. For my two weddings, she did two different looks for me and I loved them both!! I did 2 trials with Darian, even though I didn't even need one, but it was part of the package I purchased and I couldn't believe how perfect it was. Fast forward to the day of my wedding, my glam was GLAMMING. It was absolutely unreal, I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. The makeup stayed flawless ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Darian, Shay and Shruti brought the best morning vibes, their energy was exactly what my girls and I needed the morning of. Shay is Darian's right hand for a reason, she is phenomenal. Not only is she super talented, her energy matches it and is contagious! Once you get the good tunes on, prepare for Shay to start boogying!
All jokes aside, if you're getting married or in need of glam, look no further! Darian, Shay, Luci & the team and nothing short of amazing and a true pleasure to work with.

ion I had at any time throughout the whole year of planning. Luci was always prompt in her responses. The day of my bridal trial I was greeted by Mariela and she is by far the sweetest and most beautiful person inside and out. We reviews some images and ideas I had as it was for my bridal shower. When I left there Mariela had made his new second time mom feel beautiful and alive again. I felt stunning and excited to show off my new look at the shower. Fast forward to the wedding day Oct 13, 2024. Mariela arrived on time and ready to get just glamming up me and my girls. Mariela brought Marielle with her as well who also did a remarkable job. She was so happy and personable and met all of the girls expectations and more. They each felt beautiful! Mariela knew I loved my trial but since changing my hair style that week and look of my dress we needed to do a full āGLAM Makeoverā. Mariela beyond glammed me up for the most important day of my life. I felt gorgeous and glamorous! She executed the look beyond my expectations! I loved working with all of them and look forward to the next event I can get āGlammed upā donāt hesitate book your appointment now! You wonāt regret it! šš

e met Darian, we knew that our bride and bridal party would connect with her. Darian brings a calming presence and human touch to what can often be an anxious and stressful day. She is genuinely down to earth and peaceful...yet so fun and funny, too. She is uber-professional, on-time, efficient, and so on-trend.
Darian has an awesome sense of style and a magical touch that brings out the most fabulous qualities in every woman to make them sparkle. She accepts inspo pics, makes suggestions and creates a fabulous face that will look natural and yet also photograph insanely great.
Darian is so easy to work with, and scheduling is a breeze thanks to her amazing assistant Luci, who is incredibly sweet and kind. Trials are great and with Darian and transition right up to the same look for the Big Day, or can be tweaked as needed. Darian has seen it all and does it all.
We recommend Darian without hesitation. We will surely use her again and again for future special events that we plan to attend.
Do not hire anyone else. Trust me when I say that Darian is THE best person to have by your side on your wedding day. She is the very BEST makeup professional that you will find anywhere.
Pick Darian!

ne of the first people you speak with when booking and she truly is a great first impression. The first trial I had with Darian, I knew I was going to book my wedding with her. She is the most kind, caring, and sweetheart of a woman. Sheās professional yet fun and I felt totally comfortable with her and she truly has become a friend! I booked one of Darians makeup packages and in my opinion it was absolutely worth it . She did my engagement pictures, bridal shower, and wedding makeup. She also, did my sisterās and motherās makeup and they could not stop raving. She asked me what I wanted for every single application and did not disappoint at all. My makeup was stunning for every occasion ad my guests couldnāt stop complimenting me. I donāt have the most ideal skin, and even when my skin was breaking out, she made me look flawless. I am definitely booking with Darian for any future events I have and I have already recommended her to all of my family and friends! If youāre thinking of booking a trail with Darian, I would jump the gun because she is that good.
Darian was absolutely amazing, not only for my wedding but I had also booked 2 trials with her as it was included in the package I picked (1 for my bridal shower and 1 for my rehea...
rsal dinner). The amount of compliments I received was insane and I am so grateful for Darian making me look and feel amazing. I would recommend her to everyone I know. Also, my bridesmaids loved the girls on her team. The process of booking Darian was super easy and Luci was so helpful, especially with getting in trial dates pretty last minute being my fault. Thank you Darian & Luci! <3
SHE IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

sisters makeup where I was the MOH. Once I sat in that chair I told her Iād be booking her for my wedding one day. Fast forward to my own engagement and Darian was the first call I made. It was truly a blessing that she had availability for me (she books up very fast and literally does celebrity level makeup). Darian and her team are down to earth, sweet and amazing people with personalities that add BIG TIME to your wedding morning experience. She keeps the wedding morning moving with ease, good vibes and a lot of laughs to make everything and everyone comfortable. As soon as Darian walks in the room you donāt want her to leave because it feels like you are with a long time friend. Not only that but her team is top level professionals that had my entire bridal party beaming with how happy they were about their makeup. She also has an incredibly organized support team that helps you with the booking, schedule for your morning, and making sure you are comfortable with the contract/payment plan. I cannot recommend Darian enough and I will be using her and her team for any other major life events I have. She is truly one of the sweetest souls. Your face is literally the most important part of your photos, and thatās coming from someone who does not typically do a lot of makeup or glam. I cannot emphasize enough the amount of compliments I got on my wedding day makeup. Literally had family members telling me I looked like Carrie Underwood like what?!?!? Darian is a dream MUA. BOOK DARIAN ASAPPPPPP.

ery one of the team there was truly amazing, caring and eager to help. They made sure I had EVERY beauty recommendation ( facials, tanning, extensions) prior to my wedding and then Luci the amazing scheduler sat with me and handled my very large bridal parties day of schedule. Mariela my makeup artist was phenomenal - she really listened to my needs and my makeup stayed throughout several emotional moments throughout the day. Ashley my hair stylist did 3 trials with me and we finally got it right. She was truly an angel - she made sure we got the look right and night of she stayed with me to do touch ups. Each and every artist is a gem Claudia, Shay, Jamie and the amazing Angela of course made all my family and friends feel beautiful which is all I could ask for on my special day. This team is truly amazing and I could not recommend them enough.
I love Darian and I will use her and recommend her to anyone years to come. Mine and my motherās makeup never looked so good and people continue to say how beautiful we both looked...
on my wedding day. I canāt thank her enough.

t awful stress and pressure, and when I reached out to Darian, everything fell into place! The scheduling process was seamless with Luci, her booking manager, who was an absolute delight! She did everything in her power to accommodate my needs, and soon connected me with Darian!
Due to my crunched timeline, I decided to skip having a trial. One of my main concerns is that my skin, though it is in great condition, is still not 20 year old skin. At 36, I do my makeup quite differently than I did when I was younger and barely wear any. I voiced this, and she reassured me that she knew exactly what to do. I will say this....her work and reputation speaks for themselves; I had complete faith that I would look exactly the way I wanted to for my wedding day, after I hung up with her.
AND I DID!! Darian READS your face when she works with you, knows your colors, and and takes her time, all while using a wonderfully light hand. That morning flowed seamlessly, and I felt like I was hanging out with a friend that I've known for years. Her naturally hilarious and genuine personality added the greatest energy to the start of my special day, and her work did NOT BUDGE ALL NIGHT! Through all the hugs, kisses, sweating from dancing, my happy tears..it stood ON with absolutely no touch ups. In all my 36 years of life, this was the only day that I didn't need to reapply any makeup, with the exception of lipstick due to eating yummy food all night lol.
She is the only MUA that I want to work with from now, on! An undeniable talent and absolute treasure of a human!
Thank you Darian and the DM Team for making me feel like a queen on my special day!!
Shay and Mia were amazing! An absolute pleasure to work with!

so many compliments! Darian took her time and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted. Not only was my makeup perfect, but my mom and matron of honor who Darian did also looked perfect! The assistants that Darian brought to do my bridesmaids were amazing also! Every single girl looked amazing and felt amazing about their makeup! But most importantly, not only did Darian and her team make sure everyone looked amazing, but they all had the best energy, attitudes, and vibes the whole morning. Making sure everyone was having fun and feeling good. Darian also went above and beyond when my matron of honor really needed it and I can never thank her enough for that. Hands down Darian was the best decision I made and her and her team made my wedding morning!!!

or all 3 days she did everyone on her own. Everyday she showed up ready to work and absolutely kill it!! She knows exactly how to read someone face and just gets to work. She makes you feel so COMFORTABLE, takes time to understand your vision and then does her own homework and based on what you want she also shows you option of gorgeous looks that she know your face type and structure will carry well. She does it with you step by step so nothing is a surprise at the end and makes sure youāre ok with how its coming along the way.
Not only does Darian have a gift and a Half when it comes to makeup, but she is also the most beautiful soul inside and out!!! Darian stayed with me the entire day making sure i constantly looked unreal and perfect. Not only did she do that, but she only took on other hats and help me with outfit changes and personal things a hectic Bride needs assistance with.
My sister in laws both said āI have been in a lot of weddings and this is the most i have ever liked my makeup beforeā. She made everyone look flawless and just felt like the best versions of themselves.
Forget my actual wedding party, my wedding guest list fell in love with Darian as well. There is not enough amazing things i could say about this gorgeous human. She is a dream to work with made my life as a bride and everyone elseās so easy, and she is also so accommodating and worked so well with out hair stylist as well. Bride tip: USE DARIAN !!!! I promise you will not regret it.
THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME LOOK LIKE A TRUE QUEEN EVERYDAY OF MY WEDDING WEEK! I love you!!

nd every time it was flawless. The team she brings with her for the day of is also amazing. I cannot recommend her enough.
I booked a package with her that included two trials, my makeup and one other person the day of the wedding and she stayed for touchups until the ceremony. She was kind enough to touch up all of the bridesmaids and the moms throughout the day (even touched up my husbands bald head to decrease she shine lol). And on top of it all, she took a ton of pictures and videos for me during the day and during our photos, so I had an entire album of content the day after my wedding! She is literally the best.
The best decision I've made (...aside from marrying my hubby, of course!) was to hire Darian to do my wedding makeup!! First and foremost, she is the absolute sweetest person and ...
will always make you feel top priority and super comfortable. Her communication throughout the entire process is amazing and she will listen to exactly what you want, while giving you ideas that you never knew you needed! She did two trials for me and my wedding day makeup this past weekend. The only reason we did a second trial was because I needed another hair trial and wanted to see the new hairstyle with full makeup - so why not try a second makeup look as well to give myself more options for the big day? We tried a warm color tone look, and then a cool color tone look, and I swear every time Darian did my makeup it was FLAWLESS and made me feel so beautiful! It also lasted all day and then some every single time. No need for touch ups or anything! Even my bridesmaids were amazed and said they were super impressed by her attention to detail. Both my mom and my hubby's mom were also loving the assistants that did their makeup. The assistants who did their makeup were very patient, listened to what they wanted, and made them feel super comfortable. If Darian Marie and her team are available for your wedding date, don't hesitate, just book them! You'll be amazed at what they can do! :D
Shay was absolutely AMAZING! I would 100% recommend her to be your head artist for your wedding! She listens to your ideas and gives you her feedback if youāre not exactly sure of ...
