MadLove, LLC

als who simply want to make your wedding day as perfect as possible. It felt like working with friends! It honestly was a perfect wedding day. I truly believe MadLove helped make our vision come to life. We love that they are also Cambodian and they had some Cambodian songs ready for recommendation when I asked. I also reached out two weeks before the wedding and asked if they had any projector/video displaying services since we had a surprise announcement video that we wanted to play during our speech. MadLove made it happen and even came to our rehearsal the day prior to make sure it all would work well. They utilized a DJ/music app that allowed us to select music and completely laid out the timeline from ceremony entrances, cocktail hour music, reception, grand entrances -- everything. I really couldn't have missed anything with how easy it was. We were able to easily comment when we wanted timestamps for songs to begin for entrances, and Mel even made us some custom mixes for us based on what we wanted. Mel knew based on our song choices exactly the vibe we were going for and everything sounded great. We got so many compliments from our guests on the music and how great the energy was the whole night. MadLove kept people on the dancefloor until the end of the night. I could go on and on about how perfect the whole day was but I'll keep it simple and sya: if you want the dancefloor bumping and people dancing, what are you waiting for??? Just pick MadLove! Thank you both!!! We will certainly be in touch for future events :)

it was open from the first song to the very end. I personally wasn't able to meet with them prior to the event, but my partner was convinced almost immediately because Madelene and Melinda were so comfortable and lovely to work with. They provide a safe, friendly environment for folks of all kinds, and they also go out of their way to understand their clients and what kind of vibe they need to bring to the event. I felt like they were old friends and not strangers I just met the day off. I highly recommend these folks! Thank you both for making our wedding day amazing!

. The music was wonderful- exactly the vibe we were going for! We could not imagine our day without these two!

ack as the evening progressed. My sister-in-law complained to me mid-event that she kept trying to leave the dance floor to use the bathroom, but every time she started, a new song she HAD to dance to would come on. The music had everyone from 8-year-olds to aunts and uncles on the dance floor the entire night!

the challenges of a cold and snowy winter wedding. Madelene is a joy to work with, she's professional, friendly and approachable. She thought of things we hadn’t even considered and made the entire experience fun and stress-free. The photos are absolutely stunning, perfectly capturing the spirit of our love and the magic of the day. Our families adored her too! Mel was fantastic as our DJ, the dance floor was buzzing all night, and we received lots of compliments on the music. Mel also supported Madelene during our ceremony, and it was amazing to see how well they work together as a team. They truly made our celebration unforgettable. If you’re considering booking them, do it!!

ust a client after they deliver. You become a family with them.

to work with and pleasant to talk to. Organizing the music for the evening was really easy with the app they utilize, and everything went exactly as we hoped, including the timing of all our songs. Timing and execution in a wedding turned out to be a lot more involved than I had thought, and that is where Madelene helped us out the most... if we did not have her there, we would have been stressing over every small detail, but come the day of, we did not have to worry about any of it. She even took care of our decorating, which was executed perfectly to our vision. With MadLove taking care of the logistics and timing, my wife and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding, and I highly recommend using them for both DJing and day-of coordination. Maddy and Mel naturally coordinate with each other seamlessly as you might expect of true partners, and I highly recommend hiring both of them. Though we did not hire them for photography or videography, I am sure they would do a an equally great job in those roles.

stand our music preferences. They adhered perfectly to the vibe we wanted and played all the songs we loved, including many Kpop and millennial songs. Our guests raved about the music and had an incredible time on the dance floor all night! If you're looking for a DJ who will make your wedding unforgettable, I highly recommend them!

did without their services and support. Maddie and Mel go above and beyond to make you feel heard and offer insight when you need it most. We’ve received so much praise from our family and guests about how wonderful MadLove was at their job, let alone how personable and lovely Maddie, Mel, and Sokny are. Mel (DJ) helped us crafted a killer setlist and the app service they use helped us build and customize all the big music moments and overall timeline throughout our day. Her DJ style is impeccable, knowing how to read the room and pump everyone up when it was time to party, while also MCing to keep everything on track and keep everyone aware of what was happening next. And most importantly, our dance floor was vibing from start to finish and we were able to have the dance party of our dreams!! Maddie (Day of Coordinator) was without a doubt the backbone for our wedding. We had a DIY wedding with so many moving parts and outside vendors and she took all the stress off our plates for the crucial parts of wedding planning. On the wedding day Maddie and Sokny worked their magic, like air traffic controllers, taking in vendor deliveries, making sure everything was running smoothly and on time - all while making themselves available to us, making sure we were feeling great (and eating) and enjoying every moment. We truly would give them 10 stars if we could - at the end of the day, hiring MadLove allowed us to enjoy the most magical day of our lives, stress free, and we cannot thank them enough for being there for us, and with us, on our big day!!

ovided DJ/Emcee services as well as uplighting for our venue. They were communicative, transparent, and asked thoughtful questions. Their approach is fun, but not intrusive, and they did a wonderful job of adhering to the requests and notes we sent. On top of that, they use a wonderful app to make the music selection process more collaborative and organized between their team and the clients. Overall we would highly recommend MadLove!

t bar. In terms of professionalism, DJ Mel kept our dance floor popping the whole night and expertly mixed guest song requests as well as our prepared wedding playlist. They also provided microphones, stands & music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, cake cutting, toasts, and basically every other thing we needed all night! To understand the additional 5 stars on top of the 5/5 DJ service, you also need to understand that: - They recommended us every other vendor we used, and also love (shout-outs to Wandering Hearts photography and Grace Flora Studio!) - They helped us coordinate guests and be our MCs all night - They're early adopters of all the latest "Wedding tech". They have a lovely professional website, a nifty app to view and edit Wedding playlists, and they even recommended us an app to help write our vows and toasts! - They expertly handled the custom music files we sent in for dances and serenades, even pitch-correcting a file upon request - They adjusted on the fly to last minute changes to the schedule - They came to our rehearsal dinner two days before to help us practice the ceremony with our music We adore Madelene and Melinda and would recommend them to any couple who wants a professional DJ team with a personal touch.

o easy to collaborate on the timeline of the event and the music choices, as well as having great energy during the reception. I think one group of my cousins was on the dance floor the entire night!

were prompt and super friendly when we first reached out to them, and continued to be until the end. They were professional and organized; they left no detail overlooked or question unanswered, and scheduled several virtual meetings during the planning period so we were all on the same page. They were extremely accomodating; making time to meet after work hours. Selecting music was a breeze with the app they had us use! And before our wedding day, they sent us custom mixes of our first and father/daughter dances! On the day of, things couldn't have gone smoother. The sound equipment for our ceremony was great. The music selection for cocktail hour and dinner was SPOT ON!!! Mel was an incredible Emcee and DJ, all announcements were made professionally and with excitement. Transitions between songs were so clean!!! And Mel brought the house down for the dancing portion!!! She played classic dance songs, honored requests, and was fun and engaging. I would recommend MadLove for any wedding or special event in a heartbeat! Thank you to Mel and Madelene for making this an unforgettable wedding!!

a perfect fit for us. These two radiate love, joy, and inclusivity, and we basically never wanted to hang up the phone whenever we'd chat with them. Wedding prep with them was a breeze - the Vibo app and their online portal helped us seamlessly prepare for our big day and remember all of the little timelines things that we may have forgotten. They answered every question I had and were so prompt and helpful. On the big day itself, their services were unmatched - from the ceremony music, to the killer cocktail hour tunes, to Mel's amazing skills on the mic, to the light sticks, to a 20 minute pop rock segment and more. The music on our wedding day was everything we could have ever wanted and then some. I am so hopeful that I can work with these two again in the future - be it using Mel's DJ skills or Mady's photography and event planning wizardry, MadLove, LLC is an excellent choice for all of your wedding needs. Big shoutout to this women-owned, Asian-owned, LGBTQIA2S+ owned business who are reinventing best-in-class wedding service. Love ya'll!

ully captured some special moments for us. You won’t regret this duo for your special day!!

e to create a soundtrack for our first dance and family dance, and it was perfect. Maddy gave us so much support and so many resources, including helping us select our string trio. All my family and friends fell in love with them, as did my husband and I! Maddy and Mel really love what they do, and it shone through in our wedding journey with them. I'm honored to BaLong to the MadLove family, thank you both for so much more than your work; thank you for your love and friendship!

. They were accommodating and were able to pivot when things didn't go exactly to plan on our day, but they made it seamless for our guests. Thank you again for making our day so special!

and the final product was an amazingly coordinated night filled with awesome music and great introductions of the wedding party. 100% would recommend Maddie and Mel to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

ability to help us plan the day. These two love weddings and it’s so obvious from start to finish. I want to recommend them to everyone I know!!!

They were understanding and creative when working with us from start until finish. Mel understood our vision for a packed dance floor, and worked so well with following our timeline. Maddy wore countless hats on our actual wedding day, going above and beyond to not only capture our most cherished moments, but to also offer her help for anything needed. Our guests left the wedding weekend raving about both of them, which says it all!

ather music was easy (and fun!) to interact with. The day/night of our wedding was extraordinary, from start to finish. Mel was our DJ and our guest kept coming up and asking us how we found her. She balanced the extensive genres and found something for all of our guests. The other incredible thing about Maddie and Mel is how they work together to keep the energy and the flow of music in step with the vibes in the room. Our wedding day was a whirlwind but when we woke up the next morning we had so much gratitude for what MadLove brought to our day. Maddie was also our photographer. She brought so much joy to the moments she was staging. She was playful, calming and went above and beyond to capture all of the moments from the start of the ceremony to the end of the receptions. If you can hire them together - do it!

they need to make your wedding day vision come to life, while also not putting any pressure on us and improvising as needed. Totally trusted them the whole process. And the end result was a 4 hour dance party that I’ll remember for the rest of of my life!!

t at times. After our very first meeting with Maddie and Mel, they answered all of our questions and even informed us of stuff we hadn’t even thought of yet. Super thorough and informative. We knew we had picked the right ones for wedding. We initially only wanted DJ services but after speaking with them, we more than gladly took their other services they offered ( day-of-coordinator aka life-saver lol). The day of the wedding went as smooth as we could have hoped for, the music was great and the day of coordinator was a godsend. They both made it so that we could enjoy our very special day without unnecessary stress’s and help make it a day that we will always remember. They even provided us with some bonus video clips and those blew us away! Maddie and Mel are the best at what they do and we would highly recommend them to anyone that has a special occasion planned and want the best!!!

Honestly, I can't find words to truly describe how grateful I feel for everything they've done for us! Our wedding was a planning *nightmare*, our venue had us waiting in limbo until we were 4 weeks out! Despite the odds, everything turned out PERFECTLY, and I attribute a huge portion of this perfection to these two amazing women. From their calm, collected demeanor, to their insightful advice and industry knowledge; I knew I was in good hands from our first video meet! My wedding day was a dream come true; everything went smoothly, the setup and transitions were seem less, the music was excellent, there were no surprises or gaps in planning. The only thing we were left wanting was just a chance to do it all again.

eat at squaring away any suggestions or questions we had. The dance floor at the wedding was popping all night long, and we and all our guests definitely had a blast. We're also really excited to see how our videos turned out. Would wholeheartedly recommend them both!

eginning (not from them of course ), so they did whatever they can to help us feel more relaxed. We appreciated everything they did to make us not worry so much , and next you know, we were stress free. In addition, the music was 🔥 and everyone was dancing their butt off. I highly recommend MadLove for your next event. You won’t disappoint. We look forward to booking with you guys again for our future events.

he room and make sure the dance floor was poppin. Maddy is so organized and sweet. She definitely is very hands on and wants your day to be perfect. My second wedding celebration wasn’t quite as picturesque as my first wedding but the girls were willing to help any way they could. Since they have expanded, I asked them to do photography and videography for my third celebration since we weren’t going to have a large party requiring DJ services. They helped us translate and we’re open to anything we needed. I am so happy to have worked with them and continue to support in their thriving business.
