I worked with Mable for my wedding hair and makeup + for my bridal party, and we all had a great experience! Mable is professional, accomodating, and easy to work with. I did two t...
rials leading up to the wedding, and Mable was flexible in making small adjustments for the wedding day. I also have allergies to certain ingredients commonly found in makeup/skincare products and she took that into account for the products she used, which I really appreciated. Would recommend!
I did a lot of research on makeup artists that specialize in Asian makeup for my wedding. Mable was the perfect person to work with. She listened to all my requests and the final l...
ook turned out exactly how I pictured. It also lasted all day (10+ hours). A mix of looking natural but also glam. Would recommend her to anyone! She also brought a great team to do HMU for the rest of my crew (9 ppl).
As someone who has done makeup (somewhat) professionally myself, I knew I needed to find someone special to feel confident putting myself in someone else's hands. That was Mable! ...
Mable was, in a word, amazing, in both hair and makeup. Her talent exceeded my expectations, and her professionalism and kindness was the icing on the cake. Mable worked with me to figure out my hair/makeup vision, rolled with some last minute changes (which included recommending another trial, which I appreciated--Mable is someone who takes great pride in her work and wants to make sure you are happy on the big day) and made the day of as stress-free and as calm as possible. I already knew that Mable would do a wonderful job on me because of the trials, but what was even more impressive was her expertise with my bridal party. Her natural talent truly shone as she did highly personalized looks for each of them, listening to their preferences and making them look (and feel) their best. She even added my mom's hair at the last minute, which was so kind. Mable is not a cookie-cutter wedding makeup hair/artist, she will work with you to achieve the look you want, and her talent and versatility are clear. Her communication was excellent, her professionalism was unmatched by any other vendors, she was incredibly organized, and her calmness was a relief in the chaos of the day. Her assistants (we had a larger bridal party) Stephanie and Olivia were also extremely lovely people and did great jobs. Hiring her was one of the best decisions I made--if you want to rest as easy as possible in the stress of wedding planning, go with Mable. I vouch for her a million percent!
Mable and her assistant Aina executed my wedding party's and my makeup and hair looks perfectly, and are highly professional and a delight to be around. From our trial, Mable liste...
ned to and understood my vision for a fun and bold look, that still emphasized my skin and natural features. I had had other makeup trials where I felt feeling like I was in costume, but Mable created a look that was very me! I was also thankful and impressed that Mable and Aina did a beautiful job on my family and friends of all different skin tones, and made a few last minute pivots to accommodate a few edits to our schedule and looks. Thank you so much for a perfect experience!

istener, extremely punctual and professional, and I highly recommend her!
Mable is beyond awesome! When I first started to look for a HMU artist for my wedding, I struggled to find an artist who was willing to work with my allergies and my sensitive skin...
. I'm allergic to glycols and that is literally in everything. During my search, I somehow decided to reach out to Mable to see if she was willing to work with me and that was one of the best decisions I made during this wedding process! She was so understanding of my skin situation and I finally felt like I have someone who was willing to take care of me on my wedding day. Mable was the first HMU artist that put together an excel file of all ingredients used in her makeup kit and asked me to double check the ingredients. What was amazing was that I didn't even request her to do that for me, but she wanted me to make sure all the ingredients are safe to use on me! I had my HMU trial with her a few months ago and I must say that she's very talented in what she does! I love that she made me look and feel so beautiful and yet very natural at the same time. I look forward to having Mable and her team help me and my bridal party get ready for the wedding soon! I can't wait to write another amazing review for Mable soon!
Mable and her team were very professional and expert in hair and makeup for my group of 7 people total. They were prompt and timely with our group and made us feel comfortable. The...
trial for hair and makeup also went well: I was out in an open field all day in hot weather and everything stayed, into two days actually, as I didn't get around to washing out the hair product until a few evenings later. Mable was patient in answering all my questions. She was flexible with unexpected changes to the people count and with some shifts in our time frame. The false lashes worked out well, as did airbrushing done over my back. The overall look on everyone was very enhanced natural beauty, which was what I wanted. I also liked that she could work with Asian makeup.
Mable's hair and makeup skills are top-notch, and I recommend her without hesitation. She (along with her hair stylist associate Erin) did hair & makeup for some of my bridal party...
, including mother of the bride, sister of the bride, and my (the bride's) hair. One of Mable's best qualities is her flexibility -- I was not the best planner when it came to my wedding, and she handled it all with ease and grace! On the day of my wedding, my planned haku lei (flower crown) didn't arrive, so she also had to improvise the exact style of my updo, which turned out great! Mable is a really calming presence on what can be a very hectic day. If you are looking for a glowing, natural makeup look, Mable may be the right makeup artist for you!

ve monolids and also wear very little makeup, so after a trial with Mable, I decided to do my own makeup for my wedding day. I did hire Mable for my hair though, and she was wonderful. She created a very soft, romantic updo for me with curled pieces around my face. It stayed up all day—from first look photos outside in the August sun through the outdoor ceremony, the evening night and all the way into the afterparty! My bridesmaids all got updos also! They showed pictures of what they wanted, and they were all very pleased with their looks. Mable did a stunning job. Thanks, Mable!
