MaBelle’s Garden is a wedding floral studio rooted in the Connecticut River Valley, where founder Eileen Cavanaugh first planted lush gardens beneath a beloved grandmother sugar maple she named “MaBelle.” Trained at Floret Flower Farm and under floral designers Philippa Craddock and Willow Crossley in England, Eileen grew flowers on her own micro farm in California’s Ojai Valley for five years. Her designs are always free of toxic floral foam, and she sources local, seasonal blooms whenever she can. Now based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Eileen is delighted to bring her love of flowers to the couples of this new community and to help make their celebrations beautiful.

Hello I am Eileen! As long as I can remember Flowers have played an important role in my life. I believe flowers are Magic and hold within them a powerful energy that brings healing and joy to all. I am a gardener at heart and I love the concept from "garden to table", growing seasonally. Your wedding is a sacred ceremony that deserves the highest vibrational flowers possible. I grow a lot of the flowers from seed that I use in my arrangements and always try to source out locally grown blooms whenever I can. They are fresher and its environmentally friendly. What more could you want?

ky—but Eileen did!! She created such beautiful floral arrangements—ALL of the floral arrangements! (Brides bouquets, bridesmaids, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and an arch). Everything was just gorgeous and all my guests agreed. The flowers were fresh and definitely elevated our venue. Eileen thought of everything that added that “oomph” such as adding a small arrangement in the bathrooms. Not only did Eileen created such beautiful pieces, but she was able to get it all done with about a month’s notice—for a NYE wedding—in New England! She showed professional and patience with me throughout the process. I highly recommend MaBelle’s Gardens for your floral needs. My only regret is not writing this review sooner! Eileen, I can not express how thankful I am for all you did for our wedding. You are truly a floral artist and I appreciate all the hard work you did to make our day even more special.

pletely. We gave her some ideas of the general feel we wanted and a few colors that we like, but other than that she had free rein to create her own artistic vision and we were blown away! We built a birch arch and she decorated it beautifully with flowing linens, wildflowers, and grasses. All of the florals celebrated simplicity and wildness, and everyone commented on how stunning and unique they were. We would highly recommend her!

There should be a movement called “farm to vase” that she alone epitomizes, as the freshness of her blooms and the love that goes into her creations are unlike anything I have found elsewhere. She is also lovely to work with, and a generous, soulful and beautiful soul. Could not recommend more highly!

Eileen shared with us some of the special meanings of certain flowers which added to the uniqueness of the arrangements-poppies for remembrance, daisies for purity and innocence.
