M photography

ight budget and wanted to make wise decisions with our money. It was also important to us that we would have great memories of our day for years. We found all of this with M photography. She captured our wedding day in ways we never thought were possible. She has a wonderful gift for not only taking beautiful, artistic, and creative photos, but as the ability to make a bride and groom feel relaxed and uninhibited in order to create and capture authentic moments. Em put me at ease throughout my time with her with her humor, attention to detail and ability to be in control of situations and groups. We had a big wedding party and even bigger family groups that we wanted pictures of and Em was able to quickly organize each group while having fun and getting everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. She was totally in control the entire time and was so much fun allowing all of us to relax. That meant so much to my husband and I along with our parents. So many friends and family told us how impressed they were with Em as a person.. Once they saw her pictures they were blown away and so were we. We said and continue to say how glad we were the we had Em as our photographer. She allowed us to see parts if our wedding we never even knew happened because we were busy doing something else, but she was everywhere! It is so hard to find top notch, talented professionals when so many people are now taking photos. Em was affordable, professional, and very helpful and attentive leading up to and the day of the wedding. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to invest in a lifetime of wonderful memories!

ies are beautiful and creative, and captured the essence of our daughter as well as the event. There are so many fabulous photographs it will be hard to choose which to print.

day, and Em did just that. We didn’t have a videographer and quite frankly didn’t need one because of the incredible pictures that Em captured. I’ve been in a ton of weddings and have never had a photographer give so much helpful direction. I could tell that she really wanted to ensure that all of the shots were incredible. Literally Em was the talk of the wedding party and my family after the pictures because she was so helpful, professional and fun. Em, thanks so much for capturing the best day of our lives!!

M was able to capture every special moment of the day! I am absolutely thrilled with my photos as is the rest of my family and friends. She was also quick to get the photos edited and sent back to me which was a huge plus! If you want to remember your special day with amazing photographs pick M Photography!

friendly and knows how to work a crowd

easant with us, even when keeping the family on schedule during pictures. She is also an advocate for you as a couple, and willing to connect you with other resources. These and many other reasons are why M Photography is ranked "The Best" year after year. There are a million decisions you need to make for your wedding - this one is easy, don't make it any harder. Go with M Photography.

years, before I moved away, as her second shooter. I told her, "When I get married, I am definitely hiring you as my photographer, hands down!" (Mind you I wasn't even engaged yet!) Some years later, I got engaged and that was the first thing we figured out in our wedding planning, to hire M Photography. There wasn't even a choice to look into other photographers :) Seeing the images she has gotten is incredible in itself, but her personality and how much fun she is with her clients is what made the experience for me awesome! My husband and I have incredible photos from our wedding that we can look back on and cherish for years to come, thanks to Em!

everyone and captured the joy of childhood with our kids and many special moments as a family. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

and had already done her homework finding beautiful spots around our wedding facility. She was so fun and caring to the point of total and utter satisfaction. She was an absolute rock star and the Photos turned out stellar as I knew they would.

deas and timeline! Highly recommend her for your wedding, you will be pleased!!!

moments without being too much a part of our moments and she did just that. Looking through the photos, I can see she was right there with us for the most important shots, but I never felt like she was intruding in our special times. She also really helped keep us happy throughout the day. We took family photos right after the ceremony and with our large families there were a lot of opinions and plenty of irritation. When it was time for the session with just the two of us, she helped us shake off the annoyance we were feeling from our large group shots, remain happy, and take in all the joy of the evening. We had a traditional Jewish wedding, and she was expert at anticipating and capturing all the traditional elements, so important to us. Em and Melanie are so fun, easygoing, and sweet to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone!

anged at the last minute. Her photos were fantastic -- beautiful, creative, and really captured precious moments. She was definitely worth it! We especially appreciated her putting together our wedding album -- it looks amazing.

as calm and patient with all my guests, and with me. Em was with us for most of the day, taking pictures before the ceremony, during, and after. She captured all the family and friend shots we needed, and we were left with plenty of time for creative, artistic, and romantic shots as well. I didn't realize how lovely they would be until I saw them, Em really has a great eye for a beautiful shot, and we will treasure the photos. I loved that the photos do not look staged, fake, or cliché - she created lovely images that capture the beauty of our location and the excitement and romance of the wedding day. Em was totally dedicated to getting great shots - even laying on the ground for a better angle! After the wedding day, she did a beautiful job editing the photos. Em’s patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye were all deeply appreciated. Everyone who has seen the wedding photos loves them. Her photography is highly recommended and I would certainly hire her again.

looking. We wanted our photos to reflect those moments you remember when you think back on that "special day." The moments that turn into cherished memories that you just know will be with you forever. The ones that give you that humble feeling and make you bow in awe the wonder of how are you are surrounded by such beautiful souls. We know that those kinds of photos don't just happen. It was a job for a professional. That's what M Photography did for us. Thank you M!

it beautifully. She also had great ideas, and was enthusiastic for a waterskiing photoshoot the next day. She worked with us every step of the way, I would recommend her to any bride wholeheartedly.

g a photographer since I know several. But it was easy for me. I had seen Em's work and how she creates her work at other weddings. I knew I wanted someone who was organized, detailed but laid back at the same time. Our engagement session was awesome so I couldn't wait to see the shots from our wedding. She picked out great locations and I felt relaxed because I knew my photos were in good hands. When I got the link to our pictures I was clapping and had happy tears. I am obsessed with our beautiful pictures and I am so happy that she was a part of our day! It is worth the investment.

nitely use her again for other big events and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a creative and dynamic pro!

hich captured the amazing beauty of the landscape and the love that surrounds marriage.

has a fun and laid-back personality and her creativity is very special and unique. I knew after meeting her I would want her to photograph my wedding someday. Luckily, the stars aligned and I was able to have her as our photographer for our wedding. My husband and I both adore her. She's a wonderful person and when we worked with her, we knew we would have nothing to worry about. She literally thinks of everything- she has seen it all. She is extremely flexible and knows just how to make your day special and capture the essense of it all. I am so grateful we had her as our photographer. They say the day goes by so quickly (and it does), but because of Em we have beautiful images that remind us of our day. She just photographed my sister's senior pictures this summer and now our brother and sister-in-laws wedding. She's part of our family. Thanks Em for all you do!

very organized so that we could get on to the fun. Also, I loved the creativity of the wedding party's "around-the-city" shots.

money we spent that day. After seeing Em's work (which is consistent with market prices), my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. Em has a true gift. She captured the emotion, intimacy and excitement of our wedding day (and engagement photo shoot) perfectly. She has a creative eye for making natural occurrences (a puddle, a fallen flower or leaf, the shapes of the clouds above the church, a tree she passed on the way to our church) seem as though they were put there just for our special day. The hardest part for us was narrowing down all of the photos for our album. Equally as important, Em is a gem to work with. She is easy going, yet gets the job done without adding stress to your day. Her energy, passion and love for her work add to the excitement of the day. Thanks Em- looking forward to seeing what you can create for my brother and his soon to be wife!

kindness. She also had many unique and fun poses for us to do that were different from other photographers. She was very flexible when I came up with some more photos I would like. All in all she is a fantastic photographer that worked her hardest to get us what we wanted even when she was pregnant! Thank you Em again you made our day even better!

xperience working with Em a number of times and each time is exactly the same ... Wonderful. Her professional, yet calming and fun attitude make the wedding a joy for the whole party. You never have to wonder if you're getting all the shots you requested, nor will you have to lift a finger to direct the work, it's all taken care of.. All you have to do is enjoy the day! I would recommend Em to anyone looking for a fabulous photographer for any occassion, especially a wedding day. She's the real deal!

iversary cards, post them on Facebook, etc. & people are always blown away with M Photography's creative eye with the camera! I do a lot of photography myself and at times, I think I'm fairly decent but she far surpasses me & the word I would describe her work is what I named this review, AMAZING! She captured my daughter & her husband perfectly and I cherish the photos she took! At the time, I absolutely loved the pictures she took of my husband! They were incredible and last year, he passed away of cancer. I love looking at them now because they were taken at a time when he was disease free & happy. I used her photos for all of the things I needed to have for his celebration of life and I cannot thank her enough for them. This may seem like a "bogus" review, but believe me, it is not. I'm just a mother of a bride from 6 years ago that is over the top crazy about M Photography's work and Emily, herself. She made taking photos painless and caught many magnificent moments throughout the day & night that we didn't even know she was taking. I will be forever grateful for her talent preserving memories that will last forever. Thank you, M Photography! p.s. I don't write many reviews but had to do this because those pictures mean so much to me...worth every penny!

ert-Torhorst of M Photogoraphy did just that. She takes the time to listen to her clients and to photograph their special day in the most professional and caring way as possible. Her experience, knowledge and love of her job makes her the photographer to go to.

to shoot. She anticipates all your needs and wishes....more so she LISTENS to you the client. Do yourself a favor and hire the best Mike Casey

e fuzzier and fuzzier. If someone has told you that your wedding photographer is probably the most important vendor/partner you find for your wedding day, it's TRUE. I'm thankful that we found M Photography. Em captured the most important moments in our wedding, and one's that I didn't even know were happening. To be honest, I didn't even know she was around. A slick little thing, she finds a way to capture love and light in the best possible way. When I look at her pictures, to this day I still get butterflies in my stomach and a it still brings a big smile to my face. A wedding is one of the few days in our life (except maybe your funeral!) when everyone that you hold dear in your heart is one place. Please don't leave your wedding photographer to chance. I'm so happy we had Em that day, and hope you get the opportunity to work with her, too.

e both said that when she got married M Photography had to do her wedding. A few years later when our daughter was engaged, Em took amazing engagement pictures. She captured the love that Allison and Matt share. Em was their wedding photographer in June 2013. We loved the wedding blog and all of the unique pictures documenting this wonderful day. Our youngest daughter just had Em take her senior pictures this summer (2014)! It was a very memorable photo shoot. We just love Em's eye for capturing details, the ease of working with her and the wonderful photos to last a lifetime! She actually takes so many perfect pictures that it is nearly impossible to narrow your selection down to a few favorites. I'm not sure when the next event will be in our family that will require a photographer, but we will definitely use M Photography again!"

our photos turned out great. She worked with a large group, and handled all of the different personalities great! Her photos are not staged and boring, they are amazingly fun! She is a pleasure to work with. We continue to use her for our baby photos and family photos every year, she is worth every penny - most important piece of advice on a wedding - don't skimp and find a cheap photographer, you will be sorry if you do! Choose a great one, have wonderful memories and pictures!

ographer and would love to work with her again in the future! Thank you M photography!

e took pictures in the fall to try to get that rustic ambiance. Em not only succeeded but surpassed our expectations! I wish we would have used her for our wedding!

doing.

tures and can turn any spot into a beautiful picture. She is just plain brilliant, energetic, and the nicest person I know. She takes wonderful photos that will last me and my husband a lifetime. I love every single one of them and will definitely be asking her for some up coming shoots in the future. Would highly recommend Em photography!

tunities to capture our unique ideas. Em also added a lot of creativity when taking our photos, even a stranger off the street approached her during the shoot and asked for her business card! Our wedding photography was inventive and original and the results were very satisfying. I would recommend M Photo to everyone!

e date and make it happen fast. Em was so understanding and accommodating for us she did a wonderful job. After my husband came back from his deployment we wanted to renew out vows and have the church wedding that we had wanted from the beginning and there was no doubt that we wanted Em to capture the day for us again. And again she blew us both away with such a wonderful job. I highly recommend Em she is such a nice, kind, and understanding person and one awesome photographer. It was definitely money well spent.

d I would recommend her to everyone!

the most important day of your life!

antly, easy to work with. She is truly one of the nicest people I know. The photos we recieved were outstanding. We will forever have wonderful photos thanks to Em.

so much else to think about. Our photographer 'M Photgraphy' made that happen for us, she knew exactly what we wanted did so in an exceptionally profesisonal manner. There were times when you did not even know she was there, it was simply perfect. When we received our photo's they were simply magical, each and every picture taken captured the moment, we could not be any happier! What made it that extra bit special was the fact that M Photography was not like the other photographers we have seen at previous weddings, she just slipped in and out without us even knowing. Just beautiful..

t. Em was so fun and easy to work with, she was a joy to have as part of the day. My other daughter will be married this fall and one of the first calls we made in picking in date was to Em to see if she was available. We had to have her and can't wait for her to capture this special day. Thanks Em! To all Knot ladies looking for a photographer, pick Em- she is amazing. -Mother of the Bride
