About this vendor
Based in Traverse City, MI, Lyons Media Production is a VIDEOGRAPHY + PHOTOGRAPHY company that specializes in preserving wedding day love. The business was founded by storytelling experts Emily and Mary. The duo works seamlessly together, providing cinematography and photography services to capture the milestone occasion. The group is committed to its customers, striving to curate the unique vision you have for your fairytale.
Emily and Mary joined forces in 2018 to create Lyon Media Production. They built the company on the premise of telling great stories through a mutual passion for creating and capturing emotions. The duo steers clear from cookie-cutter wedding day films, using the couple as inspiration for every video they make. Whether you want to add old photos to your movie or base it on your favorite show, you can be sure that this team can create it.
Lyons Media Production has two video packages to choose from; highlight video and full story video. The highlight video includes a 6-8 minute film, professionally captured and edited by two cinematographers. The full story video features a long-form video and provides coverage of the venue, getting ready, the wedding party, the ceremony, and the reception. With this package, couples can look forward to their finished product after 30 days. The high-resolution film is available as digital downloads, USB flash drives, and USB hard drives to download and share with family and friends.

We hired Lyons Media for our 09/24/2022 wedding in Traverse City! At first, we weren’t going to have videography, but so many of our friends told us to do it. Im so glad we did! We...
just received a beautiful preview of our video and can’t wait for the whole thing. We also added on the unedited material so that we can show our ceremony/reception speeches to our family members that couldn’t be there. Mary and Emily were so great. They really listened to what we wanted and didn’t want as we had multiple phone conversations before hand. They were early to the wedding to get shots of my “getting ready” items. Emily even laid her coat down so I could sit on a wet log for a photo lol I was so surprised by her kindness. Overall would definitely encourage you to book Lyons media!

hired them for our wedding. Best. Decision. Ever! Emily and Mary were amazing to work with. We had a separate photography company and they worked flawlessly together, both getting the shots needed. I am not super great on camera but their directions were easy to follow and they made it feel so natural, all while cheering us on and celebrating in our wedding with us. I’ve only seen the preview clip or our wedding video so far and I can’t wait to see the full thing! 10/10 recommend.

CH great footage on our wedding day and created the perfect video for us. The day was a whirlwind and there are so many details I would have missed or forgotten if I hadn't rewatched them (1000 times at this point). If you are thinking about hiring them as a videographer, DO IT! It's the best decision we made for the wedding and I am so so thankful for them. They captured our day beautifully and it's a keepsake we'll treasure for years to come.
