Honestly, zero stars if I could. Worst customer service experience I've ever had.
Before ordering, I emailed asking which size to get: my waist/hips measured a 4, my bust was abou...
t half an inch under an 8. Their only advice was to order to the largest measurement and get the larger size and get it tailored — with no mention that the dress ran big or had extra built-in ease. When it arrived (after nearly 3 months), it was massive, especially at the bust, where it barely stayed on. I measured it directly against their own size chart and found it ran a full inch and a half larger than the numbers on their size chart.
I emailed customer service with photos and exact measurements proving this. Their reply was a copy-paste claiming the dress matched the size chart — it clearly didn't, and it didn't seem like they'd read my email. I followed up with the same evidence and got the identical canned response.
I then asked for a phone number to speak with someone. That was 3 follow-ups ago. Still no reply.
Because of their sizing advice, the dress now needs to be entirely remade to fit — even though by their own chart it should've been only a half inch bigger than my (professionally measured) bust. At minimum, I'd expect a real response, accountability, and a discount if an exchange isn't possible.
I would not recommend LulaKate to any friend getting married , and I won't be using them again.
Customer service is 0/10… sent multiple emails and never heard back from them. Then pay $15 for shipping for a very expensive dress for it to come in a BAG. There was a hole in the...
bag where I could see through to the dress. Thank goodness it wasn’t ripped or messed up, but that doesn’t make a lot of sense. No protection for something so expensive - should’ve been packaged in a box. If there was an issue with the delivery I don’t have faith that I’d be able to get in touch with the company.
Dress is pretty, but had extra fabric, super long and the zipper is difficult to use. Very disappointed in this company.
I had the best experience with Lula Kate. Llewellyn was so helpful in finding the exact colors i needed for my bridesmaids dresses. She took into account the lighting of my wedding...
and what my colors would look like indoors and outdoors. She was always prompt on responding as well. My bridesmaids dresses turned out so beautiful and exactly how I always imagined them. I want to borrow one of them from my friends to wear myself!
I have worn a LulaKate dresses for 2 weddings, so when it came time for me to be the bride, I knew right where to go. Each of my bridesmaids were different sizes and I loved that ...
they custom make the top styles & skirts to compliment every body type! They made the whole wedding experience very smooth and easy, which as a bride I appreciated it! Would recommend them to anyone!
Wedding dress shopping turned out not to be the fun, emotional, joyous occasion I once hoped for. After a FULL day of appointments, average dresses, and sales people trying to conv...
ince me that every dress I put on was "the one", I headed to LulaKate for my final appointment. As soon as I walked in I was at ease and loved the free reign they gave me to grab whatever dress I wanted off the rack. I pulled a dress that was totally different than any others I had tried on and the sales girl noticing my resistance suggested I try it on. Well it was my dress! It was simple, elegant, sporty, sexy, and different all in one dress. The thing I love about LulaKate is that you can mix and match any top, bottom, and fabric you like. I added an A-line bottom to the dress and it looked lovely! Thank you LulaKate!
I had a small bridal party with only 3 girls. LulaKate, while fairly expensive, has the best selection of dresses for a range of sizes and styles. I picked the same skirt for eac...
h girl and they selected their top--definitely recommend going this route!
Chic, southern elegance. That pretty much sums up the Lula Kate gowns and dresses.
I purchased two dresses from Lula Kate. The Zoe wedding gown and the Rose dress for my reception...
.
I took them to the cleaners to be steamed. Worst mistake ever. The dry cleaners ruined them both by getting ink pen and dirt on the dresses. With three weeks till the wedding Lula Kate at no charge rush ordered me a new Zoe wedding alternative gown as well as my Rose reception dress in just a week and a half. The owner and staff are absolute dolls. I am super pleased and will no doubt have to purchase the Floral Organza Overlay of the Little White Dress collection for my honeymoon!
Great store! Great service! Don't do alterations.
My bridesmaids looked beautiful in their LulaKate dresses! I chose LulaKate because I wanted my bridesmaids to have different-but-same-color dresses. I chose a color and then each ...
girl picked their dress (top and skirt styles) to fit their likes. It was perfect. The girls at LulaKate were great to work with and made sure my order was placed during the fall sale. We received the dresses exactly when predicted and they were very easy to then have altered for the girls that needed alterations. Thank you LulaKate!
She was so helpful with my dress and it turned out amazing. She also designed the bridesmaid dresses which looked awesome!
