We had an amazing experience working with Lucy Black Entertainment for our wedding! Beginning with helping us choose the right entertainment option and DJ through all the support a...
long the way, I would highly recommend them to any couple! We also had some last minute discussion to support a traditional Korean ceremony and I am grateful for their flexibility and responsiveness - it made the ceremony go smoothly!
We had a total blast with Lucy Black Entertainment at our wedding. DJ Tezrah was phenomenal and completely took the example vibe songs that we had provided and ran with them. The d...
ance floor was full all night. Highly highly recommend working with DJ Tezrah! Lucy Black Entertainment as a company was also extremely professional and helpful. They had really clear suggestions for how to execute our vision and were very responsive (even when we changed our mind all the time!). We would definitely recommend hiring them. They helped make a great ambiance and were a wonderful vendor team to work with.
If you’re searching for great wedding entertainment, this team is fantastic! Miguel, the DJ, played all our favorite songs and kept the vibe just right throughout the night. Brock,...
the saxophonist, was wonderful and really added something special to the evening. The setup was smooth and the whole process was so easy. We were really happy with how everything went. Highly recommend!
Wow, Lucy Black Entertainment from start to finish provided the best music and support. They provided our AV support for our ceremony without a hitch. The acoustic guitarist for ou...
r ceremony and cocktail hour was beyond talented. We had put a few songs on our list that were not on the Lucy Black list, but the guitarist had no problems learning them and did the most phenomenal job. We had Lucy Black Luxe, with the addition of a saxophone and wow wow wow, they brought their A game. We had the whole party dancing the entire night. Many of our guests said this was the best band they ever had. Rebecca and Lauren were also so involved throughout the process and making sure it was all smooth. They are the #1 entertainment group for a reason.
The Band was the most important detail for us as we booked vendors for our wedding day. After watching the demo video it was a no brainer that we needed to book a meeting & see if ...
they were available for our date. Thankfully they were because they were absolutely incredible.. seriously, all people could talk about after was how amazing they were, how much fun they had and the dance floor was never empty! The pre planning meetings made us feel confident before the event that everything would go smoothly and it did! Everyone at the wedding raved about how great the musicians were during the ceremony and cocktail hour and how incredible the band was. They felt like they were at a show and everyone had a blast. You're missing out if you don't book them for you event!!
The number one thing we heard after our wedding was about how amazing the band was. Lucy Black Luxe was the hit of the night - they do NOT disappoint. Three weeks out we are STILL ...
getting calls about how much people loved our band, and they were able to play all the music we wanted and kept the party going until the very end of the night.
If you are looking for the premier music artists, look no further than Lucy Black Entertainment (LBE). From the initial call with Lauren, a co-owner, to the end of the wedding nigh...
t, LBE truly delivered. Lauren was always available to hop on a call to iron out any questions we had or work through our vision in how the evening looked like. We had gone back and forth between the “Lucy Black Luxe” Band and other bands they offer but we (collectively as the couple and all the guests) were extremely happy with how the band performed their hearts out! The artists were absolutely amazing and a delight to watch. We also hired their DC String Machine for our ceremony music and their Jazz Ensemble for our cocktail hour, both equally so talented! If you haven’t seen the the Luxe Band’s promo video, go check it out. You will be just blown away with their artistic talent. We also loved how the singers engaged with the crowd, rather than just “doing their job (of singing)”. It was so personable and we loved it so much. LBE will offer a true bespoke experience for your entertainment needs!
If you are looking for an entertainment company that can do it all - look no further than Lucy Black!
Rebecca and Lauren have become such great friends of ours through the last ye...
ar of planning our son's wedding. They not only found us the best entertainment available, but they were there every step of the way, coordinating everything from the very start of the process to the end of the evening.
As musicians themselves, they truly "get it", and know exactly what formula is necessary for a successful event! We are so fortunate to have found them, and cannot say enough about their energy, enthusiasm, creativity, commitment, and friendship - they are truly awesome and definitely exceed a five-star recommendation!!
Say hello to your future favorite entertainment company. If you don’t know, now you know. Lauren & Rebecca made our wedding entertainment “life” so much easier & wayyyyy more organ...
ized than I ever thought possible. They were constantly in touch with us about wedding details, making awesome suggestions, and hooking us up with a kick-butt (keeping this PG) band AND violinist!! We spoke about our vision & feel for the night with motown (60s,70s,80s music) being our favorite and matching us perfectly with JWXperience—Jarreau Williams—as our live entertainment. To this day, everyone keeps talking to us about the music and how fantastic it was to let loose & boogie to the high energy of our band. I’m telling you right now...hands DOWN the BEST decision we made was to go live (if it’s within your budget) if not, well then, Lauren & Rebecca will without a doubt amaze you with a phenomenal DJ within your budget!!! Thank you for a memorable night & we look forward to all your future public events!!
