We cannot say enough amazing things about Gina Damato and Lucid Event Design. We hired Gina as our partial wedding planner, but from the very beginning, she went far beyond what we ever expected from a partial planning package. She was helping us well before she was technically supposed to begin, and throughout the entire process, it genuinely felt like she was always looking out for us.
One of the things we appreciated most about Gina was that she treated our wedding budget like it was her own. She constantly reviewed contracts, questioned unnecessary charges, found opportunities to save us money, and made sure vendors were being fair with us. There were multiple times when she identified things we simply did not need or costs that could be reduced. Having someone with her experience advocating for us gave us so much peace of mind during a process where it can be very easy to overspend or get taken advantage of.
Gina was also incredible at making sure the wedding we planned was actually the wedding we got. A perfect example happened on our wedding day. Rain was in the forecast, and our venue wanted to move our cocktail hour from the location we had planned. Gina advocated for us and pushed to keep everything exactly where we wanted it rather than unnecessarily changing our plans. It ended up not raining, and because of her, we got the cocktail hour we had envisioned.
She also handled everything behind the scenes on the wedding day. She contacted our vendors, reconfirmed the details, made sure everyone was on schedule, and kept the entire timeline moving so that we did not have to worry about any of it ourselves.
What really stood out, though, were the small personal things that were far beyond anything we expected from a planner. At one point, I realized I needed my pocket square and told Gina I had one back in my hotel room. Without hesitation, she dropped what she was doing, went all the way up to the room, found it, brought it back, and even positioned it perfectly in my jacket for me. It may sound like a small thing, but on a wedding day when a million things are happening at once, that moment perfectly summed up Gina. Whatever we needed, big or small, she was there.
She handled the details, communicated with vendors, advocated for us, solved problems before they ever reached us, and allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. We always felt like Gina was in our corner and genuinely cared about making us happy, not just checking boxes and completing a job.
If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, we could not recommend Gina enough. She is professional, experienced, extremely detail-oriented, cost-conscious, dependable, and most importantly, she truly cares about her couples. Hiring Gina and Lucid Event Design was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we would absolutely choose her again.

They advertise themselves as your wedding day bestie and they are exactly that. Gina was super responsive to our calls and texts leading up to the wedding and gave us great recommendations for our vendors as well. Everyone complimented us on being so calm the week of the wedding but it is really because we knew that Gina could solve any disaster that could come our way.
Day of our wedding, Gina and her assistant were there bright and early to help manage set up. She also took some really fun behind the scenes videos for us! At our church ceremony, my veil fell out of my head and Gina was right there with pins to help me discreetly reattach it. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Lucid Events. rs, she was there for every question, every step of the way and most importantly helped us put on the MOST INCREDIBLE WEDDING EVERRRRR! We worked with Gina for a little over a year in our planning process and she was consistently on her game and just a pleasure to have in our lives. Gina made sure we were staying on task getting things done so we never felt overwhelmed. She took the pressure off by helping to narrow down vendors, setting up appointments, giving recs and just cut down on the hundreds of hours of research this would've taken on our own to do. She was clearly known and trusted by other vendors in the community and they all raved about working with her.
When it came time for the wedding itself, Gina knocked it out of the park. She also brought Alexis as a day of coordinator to help who was fantastic to work with. Alexis made sure our rehearsal went off so smoothly and efficiently and was a reliable second set of hands on the wedding day. Throughout our time together, Gina made sure to get to know us as a couple, what made us comfortable, what our vibe was and that was so clear on our big day. Rain caused us to have a last minute change of our ceremony from outside to inside and she helped all the vendors to flip the space in record time. She decided what questions needed to come to me and which ones I didn't need to be bothered with because it would unnecessarily stress me out. As a bride, this was so important.
We told Gina we wanted our wedding to be a giant dance party start to finish and her creative ideas and timeline helped us deliver just that. Gina went above and beyond, helping one of my bridesmaid's fix her hair at the last minute, finding us the most unique props for our dance floor (hello robot dinosaurs!) and even helped us to quietly remove a guest from the party who had had too much.
Gina is THAT GIRL that every couple should have by their side at the wedding. She is so versatile, working with couples with a variety of tastes and styles and can fit in with any group. She got us upgrades with our hotel and truly had our best interest in mind throughout this entire process. I cannot imagine planning a wedding without her, she was such a huge help. I remember as I was arm and arm with my father, about to walk down the aisle I heard a baby start screaming (despite instructing guests that this was a child-free wedding). It was my turn to walk and I said, "Gina wait! there's a baby crying" and I'll never forget, she said "Don't worry, I put it in the elevator! You're good!" Let me give you a quick example why Gina is so dope and how much value you get for your money (beyond fair pricing if you ask me); Gina scheduled month out meetings with all of our vendors so we could fine tune everything with them. She went over all of our contracts with the vendors and insured that nothing was out of place (there were like 7 contracts to go over just to give you an idea).
She'll be your best friend for the day and ensure you've got everything you need, and she knows how to read a room/crowd perfectly. Getting you a drink when you need one, grabbing those random wedding items you need from your room. She make sure you stick to the timeline that she created for you months in advance.

Once we hired her I got the honor of seeing Gina work a wedding since I was in my family friends wedding party. Once I saw Gina work that wedding I knew she was the one for our wedding so we hired her right away. Throughout the whole time leading up to the wedding Gina was always just a phone call away. I do admit it was hard at first letting Gina make phone calls and schedule meetings since I am so used to being in control but once I have her 100% of the control she made it easier for me and my wife to plan the small details.
