I'm gonna help you out here: Stop researching planners and BOOK WITH JUSTINE! Her services are hands down the best money we spent on our wedding.
Like most people, I went into pl...
anning my wedding (from abroad) with absolutely no clue what I was doing. I had no idea where to even begin, let alone all the things I would never even have considered considering! Justine's local knowledge, great instincts, and thorough experience make her a truly invaluable resource.
Throughout the planning process, Justine was so professional, timely, and incredibly helpful. She had well-informed recommendations for each vendor and each decision to be made. She was great at helping us decide where to splurge and where to save money. There was no question I could bring to her that she couldn't answer.
We had a large and loud wedding party, and Justine masterfully helped corral us all into the right places/roles/etc. at the right times. Trying to imagine having our wedding without her contribution makes me sweat with anxiety.
To reiterate: stop looking, get booking! (And book Justine!)
We ABSOLUTELY LOVED working with Justine! Her intimate knowledge of local vendors proved invaluable, saving us countless hours of research and costly mistakes. What truly set her a...
part was her genuine interest in getting to know us as a couple; she took the time to understand our vision, budget, preferences, and what would make our day special. Her patience was remarkable - she thoughtfully (and honestly) addressed every question we had, no matter how minor it seemed, and always made us feel supported throughout the planning process.
On the day of, her impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail ensured every moment unfolded exactly as planned. We couldn't imagine achieving such a perfect celebration without her expertise and dedication. For any couple considering a destination wedding, Justine is easily one of the best decisions you can make.
Our wedding was the best and most magical day and it was all thanks to Justine. We gave her a very rough idea of our vision at the beginning of our planning process and she brought...
it all to life and then some. We went with almost all her recommendations for vendors and we were blown away by all of them. She helped us think of all the little details and gave us great suggestions to make our day perfect. Not only was Justine super helpful with planning, she made the actual wedding day one we could really enjoy. She took away any stress we had and handled everything flawlessly.
If we could have multiple Hawaii weddings, we would without hesitation use Luana Events over and over again to plan and coordinate our wedding!

00 miles away without ever meeting and evaluating vendors takes a considerable amount of trust, and Justine and her team made what would have been an entirely stressful and costly exercise in vendor selection and planning, effortless.
From our first meeting, we immediately felt at ease. We had our wedding at the coveted Kualoa Ranch and Justine knew all the ins and outs. We wrapped that meeting with clear action items and a list of recommended vendors and deadlines - I have never loved being told what to do more than with Justine!
The vendors that she recommended are exceptional - from the food, drinks, equipment - many of our guests were (and still are) raving to us how memorable our wedding was.
Justine is an excellent sounding board, and helped guide our decision making based on her experience from big ticket items like entertainment and dessert, down to the details of color schemes. She is extremely responsive, organized, and thoughtful - and should we mention patient - as we may have flip-flopped on certain decisions throughout the planning process. She gave her honest opinions and was mindful of our budget concerns while helping us pull off the party of a lifetime.
When the day finally came, Justine and her team were also our day-of-coordinators and they ensured that we were always on schedule and that everything was executed flawlessly. We had a smaller wedding back home and worked with another day-of-coordinator who dropped the ball multiple times resulting in us coordinating during our wedding. However, working with Justine and team allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding day with confidence.
Justine is an amazing person to work with, and we were so blessed to have the opportunity to work with her and her team at Luana Events. We highly recommend Justine and her team!

g planner for our most important day! She is organized, has ALL of the resources and vendors you need (and she gets good deals from them), and she can help you with the step in between the dreams you have in your head, and making them come true in real life. Not only was she organized, kind, available, helpful, and overall wonderful, we could not have experienced our wedding to the utmost capacity if it wasn't for her direction. On the wedding day she made sure everyone was where they needed to be, and that we were able to focus on enjoying the moments with friends and family while getting the most out of the entire experience. BOOK HER NOW, I promise you will not regret it!
Justine is an absolute pleasure to work with and a real pro. The vendors we worked with were excellent and I was so grateful to have her on our team. She coordinates everything day...
of so you can enjoy your day with no stress or admin. I can’t imagine putting on the event without her and highly recommend her services.

ficult time making any decisions. I decided I needed a coordinator. From the start Justine has always been available and so terrific at guiding me and my family through the process. She recommended terrific vendors and helped me make the wedding of my dreams. She’s so good at communicating, giving advice, and really knowing which options would suit your style the best. I never knew just how much goes into wedding planning, it’s overwhelming! So I am so thankful having Justine there to take care of all that for us !

esponsive to emails. Also, she was quick to make small changes to the schedule when the bus of guests arrived a little late. Everything was just as I had envisioned. Thank you, Justine!
Look no further for a wedding planner. My husband and I are from Toronto and dreamt of our wedding in Hawaii after numerous visits to this island. We knew where and what we wanted ...
our wedding day to look like but didn't know how to make it come to life. That's where Justine came in to the rescue and honestly made everything we dreamt of come to reality. From vendor recommendations to getting things set up for us - she was on the ball. For a perfectionist like me, I really felt so at ease with the way she planned and made sure we were on the right track. We started planning October 2019 and made plans for a May 2021 wedding and a visit in between to ensure that everything we wanted will come out to play on our wedding but due to Covid our plans did not go the way we wanted it to. But Justine was able to help us move our date to September 2021 and have everything the way we wanted it to for the day, without having to be there to psychically plan ourselves - which did give me anxiety since I really wanted to be there to see everything. Justine was responsive, detailed and sympathized with everything we were feeling leading to our wedding - and that is exactly what you want in a wedding planner. As we approached our wedding date, covid restrictions prevented us from having the big wedding we envisioned but Justine was able to quickly adjust and ensure us that our wedding will still come out the way we imagined - and she was right. The wedding day was perfect - I didn't have to worry at all because I knew I was in good hands. The entire morning we felt so at ease and knew she would carry out what we envisioned and for that I have forever grateful.
Thank you Justine + team to helping us out. It was a crazy journey to get to our wedding date but we did it and it was everything and more!!
I couldn’t have had such a PERFECT wedding without Justine. She is absolutely amazing at her job and is the most pleasant person to work with. Justine worked with me through multip...
le postponements due to COVID. Announcements were made a day before my wedding regarding changes that could effect my wedding day but Justine stepped in and submitted all documents we needed to the appropriate people. She is super calming and trustworthy in any stressful situation. She handled any issues on the day of the wedding and fixed them accordingly — holding out until later to tell me so I wouldn’t stress! She is essential to any beautiful destination wedding! Her ideas and vendors were all amazing along the way. Everything was beautifully executed under Justine’s coordination! I honestly don’t think she charges enough for her expertise.
Justine Miller at Luana Events was/is literally the biggest blessing and my saving grace! I was an out-of-state bride and planned a wedding mid-pandemic and could not have done it ...
without her. She has TONS of connections with vendors of all types in Oahu. She is organized, knowledgeable, passionate and everything you could ever wish for in a planner. She is decisive and helped me make decisions. She knows how to take ideas and turn them into a whole wedding vision. She was on top of every single detail and won't let you miss anything. She is perfect for out-of-state brides. Overall, I could not have had a better experience with Justine. My wedding was far better than I could have ever imagined, it was a DREAM, and it could not have been possible without Justine.
Luana Events has been absolutely amazing to work with. My fiance and I started working with Justine in 2019 to plan our destination wedding in Hawaii in 2020. We live in Canada so ...
it was helpful to have someone in Hawaii to help us. Justine was incredible! She is an expert on the wedding industry in Hawaii and is so knowledgeable of all the vendors, venues, and wedding traditions. Sadly we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times because of covid and were still waiting to be able to celebrate. Justine has been with us every step of the way and helped us rebook with each vendor and kept us up to date with all the restrictions in Hawaii. She is so kind, organized, and easy to work with. We can't recommend Luana Events enough!
We had a last-minute micro-wedding and our venue recommended Justine of Luana Events. Justine was so helpful, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with! I would highly recommend...
Justine and Luana Events. She put our minds at ease during a stressful time. Even though we gave her such short notice, Justine was extremely professional and meticulous and got everything right. We're so thankful for Justine and Luana Events!

o us by our good friends who had also used the company. After my first phone call with Justine, I knew we needed her to spearhead the planning of our special day. Justine and I spoke a few times on the phone and via FaceTime and she helped us to really mould the ideas we had into a cohesive, beautifully planned and executed day. Justine always had ideas and suggestions but was also totally open to incorporating vendors we found into the day. Justine is professional, kind, passionate about her work, highly organised, easy to communicate with and a strong high quality wedding planner. When we finally met in person on the rehearsal day, I felt like we had been friends for years. She gave clear and direct instruction to the entire wedding party about how the ceremony would run and timeline for the day including guidance on what drinks to (or to not) have in the getting ready spaces. On the day of our wedding, her energy was calm, her plan clear and efficient and her guidance through the day was absolutely incredible. Chris and I are eternally grateful for Luana Events, we will remember Justine and how she carried our day without a hitch forever. Thank you!
Working with Justine was heaven sent! My husband and I truly appreciate her involvement in our wedding. We could not recommend her more.
Justine was always kind and helpful - she ...
often would remind us of details or advise on alternative options. For example, she recommended an amazing spot to have our ceremony within our wedding venue which helped us maximize our space as well as creating a genius separation between ceremony and reception activities.
Justine was also always organized and on top of every detail. She knows all of the vendors personally and masterfully arranged set up and tear down times. Additionally she had the day of timeline down so well I honestly didn’t even have to think about what came next during each point of the day.
Sending all the aloha to Justine!!! Can’t thank her enough!
Justine Miller of Luana Events exceeded expectations with her responsiveness, professional judgment informed by experience and meticulous attention to detail. The time she put into...
communicating with us and our vendors was exceptional and gave us peace of mind throughout the process. These attributes assured us of her ability to deliver an organized and unforgettable affair.
Our wedding was difficult to plan because it was a destination wedding and because we chose a venue that did not “do weddings.” Consequently, we hired separate contractors for everything. While we were exhaustive in our research and discerning, Justine was able to add additional value with her input, organization, and negotiation skills.
Understanding there is only one shot to pull off an exceptional wedding, we realized that regardless of our experience orchestrating and hosting myriad events both large and small, casual and formal we would be no match for such an important occasion; we felt hiring Justine would ensure our wedding would turn out how we imagined, and we were right! While any wedding on any budget will be a significant expense, we surmised her fee would be negated by the mistakes we wouldn't make because of her assistance, in her helping us to determine what we “really needed” and her negotiating fair contracts with our vendors. Ultimately, we wanted to enjoy the wedding and not be “working” it the entire time. With Justine, we could relax, take it all in and enjoy making memories with family and friends.
We highly recommend Justine Miller of Luana Events without reservation.

enue and any question we threw at her regarding the wedding. Anytime we felt stressed, or needed anything, we were able to text, call, or email her and she responded right away. It was definitely the best decision we made to have Justine as our wedding coordinator. I can't express how much of a relief it was to have her there running our rehearsal, and making sure everything happened smoothly on the big day. Thanks to Justine I was not as stressed out as I could have been. Everything was beautiful and went smoothly thanks to her! I highly recommend Justine if you want to enjoy your special day stress-free!
Justine is AMAZING! When the person helping us fell through my husband and I were desperate to find someone to help us with Day of Coordination. We were so lucky we found Justine...
