I was so bummed after leaving Lovely. A friend of mine raved about this store and unfortunately I will not be going back :( After calling me to move my appointment up an hour and a...
half, I felt super rushed, couldn't look at any dresses, and felt like i was only allowed to try on similar dresses to the dress I liked at another store. Unfortunately I felt like the girls at the front were in a rush to go home early and I didn't feel like what I wanted was being heard.
I had a sub-par wedding dress shopping experience the day before I went to Lovely and was feeling unsure about the entire process - Nicole at Lovely Charleston changed everything!...
From accommodating us when we arrived 30 minutes early on accident, to truly listening to what I was looking for and bringing out dresses that felt like me - I could not have had a better wedding dress shopping experience. My mom, sisters and I are still talking about how much fun we had! I could have left with any dress she brought me and have been happy - she truly took time to understand my style and it showed.
We'll be back when my sisters are engaged to find their dresses :) Thank you Nicole and Lovely for an amazing experience!
There was dust in the corners and not very friendly.
Wonderful experience!!! Nicole was great at finding me the perfect dress for me!! She was super flexbile with appointment setting and my Mom and I really enjoyed trying on dresses ...
with her. Lovely Bride of Charleston had my favorite selection of dresses! We visited 6 stores and this was our #1 favorite
I just got my dress from Lovely and the whole experience was perfect! Emily was knowledgeable about each dress and did a great job helping me choose the perfect dress for my style...
and my body. She was fun and encouraging and made the process so enjoyable. I will certainly recommend Lovely to anyone else shopping for a wedding dress!
Amazing bridal boutique!! Was super easy to make my appointment online. At my appointment they were super helpful and encouraging! Easy to work with and so fun yet professional. It...
also worked out perfect that I was an out of state guest and buying my dress there was so easy. There is also a location here in Cincinnati where I live which is super convenient! I’ll be telling everyone to go to these boutiques and specifically this one in Charleston!!!
This was my very first wedding dress shopping experience and I am sad to say it was not a good one in terms of customer service. The consultant was a bit pushy towards me and my tw...
o bridesmaids who accompanied me. She didn't introduce herself and began our welcome by saying she was going to be bossy and that decisions were going to be made today. This may have been her way of saying "we will find you a dress" but it came off rude. Additionally, she failed to mention up front what the mask policy was and then made me feel embarrassed when I moved it out of the way for a photo and told me she "would pass the fine right along to me". I was extremely apologetic but embarrassed- both of which could have been avoided if the policy was laid out at the start of the appointment. The last thing that made the experience a bad one is that the dress she pulled that I fell in love with was $600 over my maximum budget, $1000 over my desired budget I laid out at the start of the appointment. I will say the shop is adorable, I was able to see a wide variety of dresses and I did find a dress I loved- however I did not get it as it was over budget. :(
I would honestly avoid Lovely Bride when looking for a dress. They have a beautiful selection but they seem to follow trends. Not many pieces were timeless and classic. My appointm...
ent was booked for an hour and half, which was the option on the website when booking, and I felt extremely rushed. I also find it odd they require a $25 appointment fee to try on dresses?? I wasn't allowed to go look at the inventory they had, the consultant only went off of what I had pinned to my pinterest board. Which is great to get an idea of what I have liked online but some of those didn't look as good on. Needless to say, this is not where I will be purchasing my dress.
Everything was amazing! The customer service was wonderful, her insights were on point and helpful. Highly recommend!!
A truly "lovely" experience. Jaye was so wonderful. From the moment we walked in, she made us feel welcomed and comfortable, offering us drinks (champagne!!) and had us seated in t...
heir cute front lounge area. She listened and understood exactly what I was looking for and picked out the best dresses for the style I was wanting. She was relaxed but still extremely knowledgable and fun to work with. She did a wonderful job of pinning the dresses (offering a look of both the front AND back) and was extremely patient with all my requests. Adorable atmosphere (it smelled SO good!) and great dress offerings. High recommend!
Lovely Bride was the first place I went to look at dresses. Though the prices are truly awesome and affordable, their styles are fairly singular and seem to follow what is "in" as ...
opposed to what is timeless, which is what I was looking for. Despite asking to see dresses that were modest and not too showy or sexy, that seemed to be all the consultant could come up with. When I asked to walk through the dress collection myself, I was denied and told that my only option was to try to explain to the consultant what I wanted and to have her pull dresses on my behalf, which seemed odd.
I purchased the Pippin by Wtoo through the site PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com from this shop. They were so amazingly attentive and helpful via email (I live in Colorado) that I had to...

at I thought was what I wanted and found no satisfaction and feeling of "THIS IS MY DRESS" the attendant asked if she could recommend a different style. I said yes, she brought a few dresses out, and I found the dress of my dreams! I couldn't of picked a better bridal store to purchase my dress!
My mom was who accompanied me and they were super sweet with her too! They gave us complimentary wine while we waited!

utiques I visited came close in terms of service, helpfulness, and genuine joy that Lovely provided. I worked with Jaye in Charleston and she was THE BEST.
I found my dress on the designer's website and the closest boutique that sold it was the Charleston, SC location. My family and I planned a girl's trip to try it on (and many other...
s) one weekend. We had such an amazing time at Lovely Bride - we had the entire salon to ourselves and plenty of time to try on any dress I liked. My stylist was super helpful and accommodating. After trying on multiple dresses, I ended up with Rue de Seine's Avril (the dress I originally came for). I found my dream dress that was not only unique but comfortable. Thank you to Lovely Bride for making my dress dreams come true!

Truly, a selection like no other. My mother, mother-in-law, Aunt and friends all came to enjoy the experience of finding a dress with me. Over a long weekend we had multiple appoin...
tments. Lovely Bride was one of the last and I am so grateful it was. After finding a few "these could work" options at other shops, I found myself not really feeling excited about any of the dresses so far.
Enter Lovely CHS and the amazing Emily! I put on a few dresses and everyone in our group immediately laughed that we had even considered the "ok" options before. Her selection is something special and makes you feel special in them. I'm not an emotional person but I finally had my "ah ha" moment when I found the right dress in her shop.
Her team did not give you that sales feeling where they say everything looks good on you. Instead they were honest and very open to feedback about the dresses. I felt as if I was shopping with a girlfriend instead of a shop owner. I wish I could find another reason to wear a white(ish) dress again just so I can try on her collections again ha!
Loved everything about my experience at Lovely Bride! The dress selection was the perfect size and style for me. Not an overwhelming amount of dresses, but enough to give me lots ...
