Louie Abellera

thetic. He (along with his assistant Maggie) was such a calming presence for our wedding day and so helpful for us as people who do not consider ourselves to be at all photogenic or typically comfortable in front of a camera. We love our photos and know we’ll love looking at them for years to come. Thank you, Louie!

rst met him, he told us his goal was to capture the day as we remembered it and he did absolutely that. From the start he was a calming presence and was able to put the the two of us (who are introverts at heart and not use to being the center of attention) at ease. We love his style and think it is really special that he also captures things on film. Like many others have said, we cannot stop looking at the photos. They are truly amazing.

s: natural, timeless, and honest. Louie has always been my favorite photographer, so having him shoot our wedding was a dream come true. He puts so much care and hard work into his photos and it shows. We are obsessed with our engagement and wedding photos. I've plastered them all over our home, I'm using them as my screensaver, and I've shared them with anyone who will ask (neighbors, friends, the cashier at Trader Joe’s). We cannot thank you enough, Louie! We love you!

e was really patient and had some great ideas. I loved that when I got the photo package at the end of it all I had a huge variety of posed, candid, and classic images! Nothing felt strained or stressful, it was quick and easy. I really feel like he captured our day beautifully! Definitely recommend working with him!

ughout the day. He was knowledgable about places and times to take photos (both for our engagement session and the day of), and has a knack for finding the best lighting, indoor or out. He's great at posing and shooting movement, and naturally knew which moments to capture, big or small. Plus we loved that he shoots digital and film! His photos encapsulated the emotions and setting of the whole day. Everyone who sees the photo gallery can't stop raving about how perfect it is, and we completely agree. Quick shoutout to Kyle, our second shooter, who worked so well with Louie and cracked us up all day. We are the happiest we could possibly be with our photos and plan on recommending Louie to anyone and everyone we can. LOUIE WE LOVE YOU, THANK YOU!!

ry professional. We had to reschedule last minute and he was very reasonable and we appreciated his flexibility working with us. We are a shy couple and initially were a bit nervous about pictures. Louie coached us through poses while choosing great backdrops for our pictures. He was very efficient and we quickly felt comfortable with him. We also got our pictures back within a week which exceeded expectations. An added fun bonus, he took some film pictures which we are excited to see in a few weeks. I really feel like he captured the essence of our relationship and love how our pictures have a classic and artful look to them. He truly does an outstanding job and you’ll have the welcome problem of struggling to choose which pictures you like the most. Louie is easy to work with and we cannot thank or recommend him enough!

the camera and Louie was so patient and helpful in making us feel natural. Looking through the photos is truly looking back at our wedding day as it it really happened – nothing was ever overly posed and everything is more beautiful than we even remember it. His talent for finding the right lighting, the small moments, and the emotions of the room is incredible. He is an extremely talented photographer and a genuinely good person who we are lucky to have met.

the vendor list because there's sure to be something fun to capture! Also really appreciate his mixture of digital and film photography on the day-of. His work tells complete stories, not just captures moments.

estions on how to make the couple's engagement session perfect and wedding day spectacular. On the wedding day, Louie arrived early and prepared. He was extremely calm, attentive, and personable. He adjusted his schedule to what would meet the needs of the couple. Any additional requests he accommodated and stayed past his scheduled time. His photos don't just capture people, they tell stories. I highly recommend Louie for any of your photography needs.

eral, a delight to work with. He even wrangled a back-up photog last minute when our second photographer was sick the day of our wedding. And his photos speak for themselves!!!

nd I couldn’t have been happier with the final product which he also gave us much faster than expected!

worked with Lou for both our engagement and wedding pictures and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. He is the best out there

he start, that he really felt like one of the gang :) He was never obtrusive yet somehow got such personal shots! He delivered the photos right on time, and we are SO happy with them! Would definitely recommend him for any wedding/engagement/lifestyle shoots!

efore our engagement pictures and the wedding day itself, he answered all of my questions about timing and where to shoot. He always kept us on schedule and put us at ease right way. From our portrait shots to group photos, Lou has the most incredible eye for finding the best angle, lighting, and positioning. He directed our bridal party and family pictures in the most kind and easy-going manner. He was flexible and open to whatever we had wanted to do, and our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without him! Most importantly, the final pictures that he creates are absolutely beautiful. The colors and lighting are stunning, and he truly captures couples and their friends and families in such a loving way. We cannot thank him enough for all of our photos, and we’ll always have them to remember the best day of our lives! Lou is just the best at what he does, and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer!

tunning and he was so wonderful to be around on our wedding day. Even during some crazy moments of the day, Louie was calm and collected. As we were going through our photo gallery I literally found myself favoriting every single photo. I wouldn't change a thing if we were to do it all over again. 10/10 would recommend!

s were so great! I just can't say enough. I literally told Louie to just take the lead and do whatever he wanted to do, and I'm so thankful I did because he captured everything! My husband also wanted to mention that he was a lot of fun to work with too! :)

the easiest to work with and captured such beautiful moments throughout our day. Our family and friends have had only the nicest things to say about Louie's stunning work!

and elsewhere, and couldn't be happier that we decided to work with him. Lou was incredible in that he was professional but also really personable and fun to be around on the day of our wedding. Two things made him stand out - first, the quality of his photos, and second, his easy going personality - he was a huge help leading up to the wedding, but on the day he was laid back, and that made things so much more enjoyable. He had scouted out the surroundings and took us to a few place for pictures that I never would have thought of. His assistant was also fantastic! Lou, can't thank you enough for giving us such beautiful memories of the day. The photos are just incredible, all of our friends and family can't stop talking about them (and I can't stop looking at them). Thank you so much, and we would happily recommend you above all others!!

we made. Lou was so understanding throughout the whole process and answered every single question we had without hesitation. The day of the wedding, he truly helped make the day so perfect. Friendly, easy going, creative and patient are just some of a few words that best describe him and how he handles his work. He had the BEST ideas of where to take pictures and managed to capture not only the moments that were posed but moments throughout the ceremony/reception of everyone at our wedding having a blast and looking amazing. Having Lou as our photographer was truly a gift and I cannot recommend him enough.

tographer. Lou knows the look he is trying to achieve and is able to get the job done in an efficient amount of time. My husband and I had a lot of fun getting to know Lou during our engagement session, which made our wedding that much more fun. Check out Lou's website -- he knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him!
