We had the best experience with Lotus for our wedding on 8/15/26! They were willing to answer all of our questions each step of the wedding planning process. We felt very confident going into the big day. Our photographers Zelin and Anthony and our Videographer Phil made the big day so easy and comfortable! They were so professional, fun, easygoing, and kept the day running smoothly so we were able to truly enjoy ourselves. Our photos captured not only us and our loved ones, but how our day felt. We will cherish these photos for years to come!

The owner, Justin, came out himself to take our photos, and he was absolutely incredible. We had some family members running late, and Justin didn’t make it a problem at all. He was patient, professional, and made everyone feel comfortable. He walked us to different locations, suggested different poses, and most importantly, he actually listened to what we wanted.
We explained the vision we had, and Justin was able to bring it all to life. The photos came out AMAZING! I’ve honestly had some bad experiences with photographers in the past, but Justin completely changed my expectations and standards. He went above and beyond and exceeded everything we were hoping for.

Justin and his team were absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. And yes, obviously, the photos and video are incredible. Like “wait… THAT’S US?!” incredible. They somehow managed to make us look like we actually knew what we were doing.
But honestly, the best part was Justin himself. This man spent 10 HOURS with my husband and me and somehow didn't ask to be transferred to another wedding. He was cracking jokes, keeping us laughing, making us feel completely comfortable, and basically turning what could have been a very long day of “okay, now look here… now turn… now smile…” into one giant party.
And the best part? The laughs, the happiness and the smile weren't fake. Justin had us laughing so much that half the time we forgot we were even taking pictures. Which is why the pictures turned out so amazing.
Instead of getting a thousand photos where we're standing there looking like we're being held hostage, we got photos that actually captured US, the chaos, the happiness, the ridiculousness, the emotions, and all the moments in between.
And let's talk about the 10-hour day for a second. TEN. HOURS. That's longer than some relationships.
By the end of the day, Justin and his team weren't even our photographers anymore. They were basically members of the wedding party, therapists, comedians, hype people, professional dress-fixers, and occasionally our personal paparazzi.
Amanda, Justin, and the entire Lotus team were incredible. They were talented, funny, supportive, patient, and genuinely such great people. They somehow managed to keep everything fun while still being completely professional. And when you're already dealing with wedding-day nerves, emotions, timelines, family chaos, and approximately 47 people asking you where they're supposed to stand… having a team like this makes ALL the difference.
The photos and video came out better than we could have dreamed. Every time we look through them, we're right back in those moments—laughing, crying, being ridiculous, and having the absolute best day.
So, if you're debating whether to book Lotus, DO IT. Unless, of course, you don't want your photographer to become your best friend by the end of the day. In that case, probably look elsewhere.
But if you want INSANE talent, beautiful photos, amazing video, a team that genuinely cares, and a photographer who can roast you while somehow making you look good doing it…

They were so dedicated, when they saw a special moment happening on the dance floor they put their dinners down to come over and capture it! The result is a beautiful, endless gallery of photos from all stages of the day. We could not recommend them enough! From the very beginning, they made us feel completely comfortable and taken care of. Their responsiveness blew us away. After booking, we had some follow-up questions and ended up reaching out on New Year’s Eve, never expecting a response same day. To our surprise, Justin not only responded right away, but even hopped on a call with us and spent an hour going over everything. That level of care and dedication told us immediately that we had made the right choice. Throughout the whole process we felt as if we were treated like family.
On the wedding day itself, Justin and Phil went above and beyond in every possible way. They were professional, patient, and incredibly accommodating. They guided us through poses with so much expertise while keeping the atmosphere light, fun, and stress-free. We were especially impressed by how well Justin and Phil worked together, constantly bouncing ideas off each other. It was so clear that there is a healthy culture between them, which made the experience even more enjoyable. On top of that, they were meticulously organized, so setting up each shot was efficient and fast, allowing us to maximize our time while still capturing everything we wanted. My husband and I felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Beyond that, they worked seamlessly with our venue staff, which made the day flow perfectly.
We were getting compliments throughout the night from guests about how amazing our photographer and videographer were. That just confirmed what we already knew, Lotus is the best of the best.

y helpful with any questions or concerns we had. They went through the itinerary for the day of the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. They were also very patient with us when we had so many questions and concerns and answered all of our questions and concerns without a problem.
The photographer and videographer we had (Zelin & Phil) were incredible and were both very comfortable to work with. They made sure to give us instructions on how we should pose and walk for the camera (considering my husband and I don't really know what to do on our own). They were very kind and joked around often when taking pictures and videos of us to help us get more comfortable with taking pictures and to just gets us to smile a lot more. We had some last minute plans during our reception that they helped us plan with the DJ when we wanted to get a picture with every table. They were just all around the best team to work with during the wedding because we were not stressed one bit during the photo/video taking.
We also had a photobooth from lotus and my guests loved the photobooth. We received an album full of copies of every photo that was took at the photobooth which was an awesome keepsake.
Our wedding photos took exactly 8 weeks to be finished and we received all of our photos digitally. We are currently waiting for our videography to be finished, but that will still need a bit more time. We are excited to receive our videography because we bet it will look incredible just like all of our wedding photos. The photographer captured so many things that we didn't think would look so great on camera, but it did! In fact, the photos look 10x better than we have ever imagined. So, we are very happy with the results of the photography.

I wanted to shout out Will specifically, as he also worked with us for our engagement shoot, and we absolutely loved him! He made us feel sooo comfortable and by the time we were done, I felt like we had been friends for years. He was sooo funny and kept us laughing and smiling throughout our entire engagement shoot and wedding day.
The entire Lotus team was a pleasure to work with and kept in touch with us all throughout the wedding planning process. They answered any questions we had and were so kind to us. We got all our photos back at almost exactly 8 weeks and we love them all so much. We can’t wait to see our wedding video as well! I can’t rave about the Lotus team enough! Thank you for everything ❤

Their professionalism and patience with my very large family made everything move so smoothly during family photos and even during the wedding itself. ith leading up to our wedding. They were so responsive and did so much prep/coordination leading up to our wedding. We opted for two photographers and a videographer which was the best decision. Z and Jonathan immediately made me feel so comfortable. They were helpful in carrying my train so it wouldn’t get dirty and even showing me some tricks on how to carry it best! They were so creative with our scenery and also so thoughtful when it came to having us in the shade or giving us a break from photos inside (it was a hot one). Anthony was mostly with the guys but my husband said how great he was. He fit right in with the groomsmen and made everyone feel at ease. All three of them stayed the whole night and captured so many moments during our reception. I can’t wait to see all the photos and videos!!! Highly recommend for any wedding event!!

nd I had a long list. He answered my questions thoroughly, and went over all of the options and services offered by Lotus Photography. I never felt pressured to choosing one package or option over another. Speaking with Justin was more of a conversation. We had our meeting by Zoom to accommodate my schedule. After our meeting ended, I felt that choosing Lotus Photography was the right choice for my engagement and wedding photos.
Communication is very important to me and Amanda at Lotus Photography is very responsive. She provides detailed responses to all of my questions in a prompt manner. She made choosing a photographer a seamless process. Amanda provided me with a list of photographers an available with their photo gallery, giving me the opportunity to view the different styles of photos for each photographer to help me choose a photographer that matched my style. Additionally, she was flexible with scheduling my engagement photos.
I had my engagement photos taken by Wil at the Islip Grange. Wil is patient, kind, and easy to work with. He was so patient with our dog! Wil showed us how to pose, and gave us directions that were easy to follow. We did not feel awkward.
Zelin was the wedding photographer for our wedding 8/17/2024, and he was amazing! I met Zelin for the first time at the wedding, and he automatically made me, and the wedding party feel comfortable.
Zelin was with us for 10 hours and he was patient, attentive, and accommodating. He took the photos we included on our photo list and took additional creative ones. Zelin never made us feel like the whole wedding was about just taking photos. He made us laugh and if we needed a break, he went and took candid photos until we were ready. My guests commented how he just blended into the ceremony and reception and still took photos! Zelin took pictures of everything and I look forward to seeing the photos.
I would highly recommend Zelin as the photographer. The team at Lotus Wedding Photography (Justin, Amanda, Will, Zelin) are very professional and amazing to work with.

heir photographers/videographers are talented, experienced and professional. I also appreciate them re-editing the style of some photos for us after the wedding. We experienced some issues when it came to planning and logistics, this is where they can definitely improve. We discussed many details before the wedding day with Will, such as the style of photos we liked and shot lists of groups of people we wanted photos with. Will ended up being substituted for a different photographer day of. This would not have been an issue, but it seems that he did not pass along all of the important information we discussed. The team of photographers were ignoring the shot lists provided and I (the bride) had to prompt them multiple times to make sure I was getting all of the family shots I wanted. I even had to start gathering people together myself to ensure I captured all the shots I wanted. This stress was very unnecessary. Additionally, we shared examples of light and airy style photos that we like. For some reason, lighting was set up day of to take many photos that were shadowy, dark and dramatic. Luckily, most shots had variation in style, but all of my bride solo shots and all of the photos with my bridesmaids looked like this. We also had some trouble planning the schedule of the day in our early consultations. Our day was more complicated with a church wedding and a first look etc., but Justin was not helpful in brainstorming ideas about how to schedule and fit everything into the day. We ended up brainstorming a schedule on our own and then bringing it back to the team. Overall, I am happy with the photos and videos we received, but I wish the team could have been more helpful to reduce stress instead of adding to it.
