From the perfect staircase to the wonderful referrals of vendors, the space felt deeply personal and curated rather than just a space. The love in the mansion was shown by how much they care for and love for the mansion. You can tell Loch Aerie has a family that values perfection, details, and love for mansion and weddings. Dana made sure that we had the best supports and recommended the best team for our special day. AJ helped up to ensure that everything was spotless for the big day. He even helped set up our mini golf! He was so flexible and helpful throughout the week! Loch Aerie was the perfect place for a rustic and classic look that guests are still raving about!

the very first time they visited Loch Aerie and we, as the parents, agreed completely. It has a capacity for 250 guests and has an outdoor space that is well manicured and inviting. We had outdoor games for cocktail hour and unfortunately the weather was not cooperating. The staff at Loch Aerie quickly made a change to bring the games inside so our guests could enjoy. As most of us, we have been to many weddings and many venues and this was exceedingly above the average venue space. Everyone raved about the venue on the day and even now with pictures. Dana, the owner, is informative and helpful. AJ is the caretaker and was amazing. He was always available for deliveries and helped to make sure that everything was as you planned for your special day.

She is so passionate about the mansion and dedicated to making sure every couple has their dream wedding. Every time I needed something, no matter how small, Dana would respond almost immediately. On the day of our wedding, everything was beautifully organized and completely stress-free, thanks to the wonderful staff at Loch Aerie. The caretaker and historian, AJ, was incredibly helpful during both our rehearsal and the wedding day itself. As someone who tends to stress easily and never thought she could plan a wedding, I can honestly say Loch Aerie went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. It’s been three weeks since our wedding, and I am still getting compliments about how it was the best wedding our guests have ever attended, and how the food was the best they’ve ever had. John Serock Catering, which provides the food for Loch Aerie, was phenomenal. Everyone is still talking about how they couldn’t stop eating! There truly aren’t enough good things to say about Loch Aerie Mansion. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding come true. The entire experience from the 1st meeting with Dana for our tour, to saying good by to AJ at the end of the wedding night has given us all such a special memory to treasure of our daughter's wedding. It still feels like a dream. The entire staff is so organized and work extremely well together. The food was excellent! They use John Serock Catering exclusively, and we received nothing but compliments on how good the food was, as well as the attentiveness of the serving staff. There wasn't a single wrinkle in the timing and flow of events. AJ is an amazing asset to the Venue, helping to make the day go smoothly in any way he could. He also knows a lot about the history of Loch Aerie Mansion. Violet was wonderful. As we got closer to the wedding day, questions came up and my daughter simply contacted Dana, Violet or AJ , and we would have the answer within 24 hours or less. The beauty of the Mansion and the grounds provided an atmosphere of gracious elegance. The wedding day was January 25, 2025. There was still snow covering the grounds from the week before the wedding. The outdoor photos of the bride and groom were stunning as the sun was setting in the back ground. The ballroom addition provides the perfect space for the ceremony and then later, after the cocktail hour, for dinner and dancing. There is plenty of room for dancing. The rooms on the first floor provide comfortable areas for visiting with guests as well as the perfect settings for formal family photographs. The bridal suite and groom's suite each have their own unique style, and offer everything needed for the couple while getting ready for the big event. I could go on and on about Loch Aerie Mansion - but to sum it up- it's more than a beautiful venue- it was a delightful experience because of the people involved who know how to help make your dream wedding become a reality. We couldn't imagine having such a special event anywhere else. Dana, AJ and Violet - thank you so much !

The day of Violet was the wedding coordinator, setting up all the decorations and making sure the day ran smoothly. I have had numerous people tell me that this was one of the best weddings they have been to in awhile. From the food, drinks, decorations, entertainment, everything went on without a hitch and that was all thanks to AJ and Violet! I would highly recommend this venue and team to anyone.

Not only was it completed, the renovations in the basement as well as the exterior blew us away!! The mansion itself is gorgeous and has tremendous historical value. There are several beautiful and spacious areas to have your ceremony, which was important to us given the unpredictability of weather. What stood out to us most about Loch Aerie is their team. AJ, the groundskeeper is one of the nicest people we’ve ever met! He made sure our day ran so smoothly and was always there to step in no matter what was needed throughout set up and the day of. He even helped out with our 1 year old ring bearer who needed to be carried to the aisle. John Serock and his team were also phenomenal to work with. We had the pleasure of working with Violet to coordinate the meals, drinks, as well as set-up/seating chart. She was in constant communication throughout the planning process and was also extremely helpful on the day of - she even helped hold up the train of my dress before walking down the aisle. Serock’s team is experienced and went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had full drinks and appetizers in between professional photos and truly tended to our every need. This was such an important detail that you may not even consider because as the bride and groom you will be very busy talking to guests and you don’t always get the opportunity to grab something to eat or another drink during the cocktail hour. Not to mention the food was INCREDIBLE! We received so many compliments on all of the meals throughout the evening. Lastly, we’d like to comment on our wonderful decorator and florist, Elizabeth McGarrie, who owns Vintage Betty. Throughout the past two years we had several meetings, and on the day of she truly delivered my vision. As a type-A bride it was very hard to trust that all the little details would be taken care of. Not only did Elizabeth put together our dream wedding, she went ABOVE and BEYOND to take care of us. For example, she embellished additional parts of the mansion with left over flowers as a very generous surprise to us, she added greenery and live flowers to our cake to ensure it fit the grandeur/elegance we were looking for, and in addition to all this, she created table setting cards with our guests’ names the day before our wedding free of charge because I accidentally forgot to make them! Elizabeth is so talented, and I just can’t say enough good things about her work. One of our favorite parts of the wedding was the cigar bar she designed for us. It was the perfect mix of elegance and masculinity, which really appealed to my husband and I. Overall, Loch Aerie Mansion is an incredible venue with a fabulous team that will ensure you have the most memorable, stress-free day. I highly recommend having your wedding here!!

time we visited over the course of our 18-month engagement, each event that was held there had its own identity meaning that Loch Aerie can be the perfect venue to have your dream come alive. Dana and AJ as well as Violet and the team with John Serock Catering helped us every step of the way and were personable and so caring when it came to the little details, especially the day of. What was really awesome was how they would be able to transform the ballroom into a ceremony space in case of inclement weather. For an outdoor ceremony, there are several options to choose from as well.

totally new to the wedding planning world, Dana made the process so easy. Loch Aerie hass built strategic partnerships with local vendors and accommodations which made our life SOOO much easier. John Serock Catering is their exclusive caterer, and this is a partnership made in heaven :) We LOVED working with Violet (the John Serock event specialist who currently works exclusively with Loch Aerie). She answered so many of our questions, and we were shocked with how much John Serock's catering team does the day of the wedding. They are more than just caterers, they do it all and think of everything. My sister is autistic and needs a pureed diet, and they made all separate dishes for her and kept checking in with my family to see if they needed anything. So wonderful! Loch Aerie is a beautiful place with such history sprinkled throughout. Our guests have given us so many compliments about the location, and it is so conveniently located across from a hotel (Great Valley Sheraton) which partners with them frequently! I HIGHLY recommending using them. They even provide free shuttle rides to guests at the scheduled times you give them! A few of my highlights from Loch Aerie: being able to set up some of the decor the day before the wedding (keep in mind, I gave boxes to them in advance with clear instructions, and they executed those things wonderfully), having time to get ready on site and take pictures prior to the ceremony the morning of the wedding (GAME CHANGER), having a private server checking in on the wedding party/bride and groom during cocktail hour, being able to get pictures up in the tower, being able to have a sparkler sendoff, and having them pack up my car without my family having to lift a finger :) Thank you, Loch Aerie for a beautiful day!

There is so much space inside and outside this venue so guests have so much room to walk around and you can move between spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The bridal suite and groom's room were TOP NOTCH! Loch Aerie is the most beautiful backdrop for all of the photos you dream of from your wedding. I can't say enough good things about Loch Aerie Mansion and I would choose them over and over again!

appened, my daughter was getting married and we were looking for a place. The moment we saw it, we knew it was the one. Absolutely fantastic. It has been beautifully re-done, restored to the original look, and Dana and her husband were a joy to work with. They were very accommodating; and the caterer, John Seroch, was wonderful. We also opted to work with Elizabeth for the decorating (an optional service). The multiple rooms give guests the opportunity to mill around easily, the ballroom is brand new and huge. Outside has been landscaped. It is a showpiece inside and out, and my daughter and her husband were thrilled. I can't say enough about the place and the people. Beautifully romantic. On the logistic side, having hotels right across the street was very convenient as was the overall location. When I say it was magical, I'm not exaggerating.
