About this vendor
Hello! I’m Lizzie, a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Telluride in the beautiful San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado.
I am as passionate about making images that authentically capture the moment as I am about the relationships I create with my clients. My aim is to facilitate a relaxed and joyous day. How does this happen? I work with clients and their coordinators to ensure we have a clear vision of how the day will unfold. With this in place, you’ll be able to focus on each other, on your guests and all of the wonderful things you’ve worked so hard to bring together for the unique celebration that is your wedding.
I want to hear all about your vision, and to join you when you scope out the location you’ve been dreaming of for your ceremony. I will take all of your thoughts into consideration. I will also lend direction based on my experience, so that you end up with photos you love.
My images…
are a blend of candids and posed portraits. I don’t shy away from color, I am inspired by the mountains, flowers, trees, the natural beauty of Colorado. I am inspired by my amazing clients!
I knew from a very early age that I wanted to live a life filled to the brim with art and creativity. I am a classically trained oil painter, I’ve been to Burning Man ten times, I live on a ranch with my husband and our two magical cats. Our cats are named Oats and Ivy, and we’re a little bit obsessed with them.
In addition to being my business, photography is my passion. Going out on a shoot feels like a treat, and I get excited when I know I’m going into my studio all day to edit photos. I’m endlessly grateful for this fun and inspiring work.
Now I want to hear your story!

I searched for the perfect wedding photographer as soon as we started planning the wedding. When I found Lizzie, I immediately reached hoping she would be available. Her photograph...
y was stunning and exactly what I was looking for. Her editing is so natural and beautiful. I booked her and showed everyone her work! She is so sweet and helped me so much before, during, and after my big day. I would recommend her just for that.
But the photos I received, brought me to tears. They are PERFECT. She took hundreds of photos and there isn’t a single one I don’t LOVE. My husband hates taking photos and when he saw the results he couldn’t believe it. He loves ALL of them too. I’m so happy and grateful I found Lizzie.
Lizzie photographed my daughter and son-in-laws microwedding in Telluride and let me share how phenomenal she is. First, I selected all vendors based on vibe, their online image a...
nd email communication. I planned this from afar and never met any vendor or saw the venue in person. Lizzie got what we wanted, we emailed a couple of times and had one phone call. When she arrived at our cabin and we talked a bit more she really saw thew vision and quickly made suggestions to really and fully bring it to life. She felt like family truthfully and delivered WAY beyond our expectations! She stayed later and later (every time we turned around we just wanted more photos). When we got the final photos we were just overwhelming thrilled with her work and so has everyone that has seen them. If I could bring Lizzie to our California and Nevada wedding clients I would!
Lizzie was our photographer during our elopement (thanks to covid) this May. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with her! Lizzie’s artistic style is gorgeous and we are...
absolutely thrilled with our photos! She helped us decide on the location and was so thoughtful and thorough with our email correspondences. During the session, she was relaxed, kind, and full of ideas. We felt totally at ease and enjoyed every moment. We started off by saying our vows and signing our marriage certificate. The photos she took completely capture our emotions and our family we said they felt like they were there because of her amazing work. Afterwards, we took a short drive to a different location down the road and Lizzie kept having us stop as she observed beautiful sunsets. This was great because we got to have different backdrops as the sky changed. She has such an eye for photography and was amazing to work with!
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful, amazing and incredible Lizzie was for our wedding day! She captured every single moment perfectly and I will be swooning over ...
these pictures for a lifetime. She was so easy to work with (even when my husband and I almost ruined our first look and it started raining moments before the ceremony). We had only talked over zoom before the wedding (thanks Covid) but once we met she felt like an old friend. She knew all the right shots to get and was never pushy. She was good at encouraging us when we got distracted and kept us on our timeline. I would choose Lizzie over and over again to capture our wedding day!
My fiance and I had such a fun time with Lizzie taking engagement photos! This was the first time we had ever taken professional photos, and she made us super relaxed and did an am...
azing job guiding us. We just got our photos back and they are INSANELY good. When we showed our friends and family our preview photos, their jaws literally dropped. She did such and amazing job and we just can't recommend her enough!
My husband and I loved having Lizzie with us on our wedding day! She was calm and flexible (just the kind of person you want with you on your wedding day) and made sure to get all ...
of the shots we wanted, even when we were asking on the spot. She has an eye for detail and even got down in the dirt to frame a shot with wildflowers. We told her that quality time with family and friends was our highest priority and she captured that sentiment in her photos. At the end of the wedding, we had several of our guests comment that Lizzie was the best wedding photographer they’ve seen and we agree!
Lizzie is an absolute treasure and I knew from first coming across her website that I wanted her perspective on our wedding day. I could not be more delighted that she took us on a...
s clients and I knew from our first correspondence that we would make a great fit. We booked an elopement ceremony with her, went over some ideas, and had great correspondence leading up to our wedding day. With everything going on in the world, a lot of the details of our day had to wait until the last minute to confirm not knowing what would be accessible or possible. Lizzie was flexible and understanding throughout and was open to anything we wanted or had to change. Our wedding day with Lizzie was full of smiles, laughter, and comfort. Neither myself not my husband have ever had professional photos taken of us before and were a little nervous going into the day not knowing exactly how to "look". Lizzie put us at ease and encouraged us to just be ourselves and relax. It was one of the most beautiful days I've ever experienced and her guiding hand made every aspect smooth and enjoyable. The gallery of images we received of our wedding blew us away and we will treasure having the beautiful images she captured for the rest of our lives. I cannot recommend Lizzie and her talents highly enough.
We are so thrilled with ALL of our pictures... She went above and beyond with them. She perfectly captured the joy & happiness we were feeling during our big event. Impressed with ...
her skills is just not a good enough description... Yes, she's talented, but she's also an artist. We were blessed to have her part of our big day. We will cherish our photos forever! THANK YOU LIZZIE!
Lizzie was an awesome photographer and was super helpful in helping us choose places for the photoshoot. We had a general idea of what we wanted and everything came out better than...
we could have ever hoped for. She was quick to respond to emails while we were still ironing out the details. She was on time to the shoot with no time wasting. She was very easy going and offered direction during the shoot when we needed it. She was very informative about whether or not our ideas would work. If we have other events in the area we'll surely use her again. I'd recommend her 10 times over.
Having Lizzie as our wedding photographer was one of the easiest and best decisions we made when planning our wedding. She made us feel super comfortable, was so easy and fun to wo...
rk with, and was communicative about timelines, etc. We love all of our photos (she also did our engagement photos), and highly recommend her! If you need a wedding photographer in the Telluride/Ouray area, Lizzie is the best!
Lizzie is your girl. Our Telluride engagement photos are absolutely breathtaking and it's all thanks to Lizzie - you'd never know how awkward we are in front of a camera, haha! She...
gives the perfect amount of direction, turns around fine art photography quickly, and feels like a friend you've known for years. Can't recommend her highly enough!
My husband didn’t want me to hire anyone, he’s hard to please, and doesn’t like crowds. What’s funny about that is, it was only me, him and Lizzie. He met Lizzie and instantly conn...
ected to her. During our vows, it felt like it was just us two, intimate, which is exactly what we wanted and Lizzie captured everything perfectly and our pictures are magical, a fairytale, a winter wonderland. Our winter Ouray wedding was the best day of our lives. Thank you Lizzie!!!
