About this vendor
Clients often ask me how long I’ve been doing makeup and the answer is since I can remember! I graduated from beauty school in 2008 and since then I have consumed everything I could about skin health, makeup, and color theory. After working with Chanel Beauty I knew I would always have a home in the beauty industry. I did finish my degree (you're welcome, Dad!) and have worked for multiple luxury makeup brands, medical spas, and bridal beauty teams before going out on my own with Liz Monroe Beauty in 2019.

Liz Monroe Beauty was recommended to me by a coworker, and she did not disappoint. Liz and her team exceeded all my expectations, and my entire bridal party was so pleased with the...
ir hair and makeup. The makeup looked fresh the whole day, even our venue owner was so impressed. The whole time is so skilled! Not to mention, Liz is just an all around amazing person to work with and I will be forever grateful to her for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. 20/10 RECOMMEND.
Liz was a great artist and wonderful to work with. She really listened to every person in our party and created a look that made them feel comfortable and beautiful. She put everyo...
ne at east AND was very conscientious about covid safety, which I extra appreciated since several bridal party members had underlying health conditions. Absolutely would recommend Liz to anyone-- bride or not!
Liz was amazing! My makeup was stunning and I felt so beautiful. She really listened to me as well and was very flexible and accommodating. She was great to work with to and made m...
y wedding day so much less stressful. I had originally considered doing the makeup myself but I am so glad I didn’t. Her service was so worth it. I have a big problem with under eye circles and also of course got a massive pimple the week we were getting married and neither were at all visible. Furthermore we got married in a very hot and humid climate and amazingly my makeup started put basically perfectly despite me dancing through the night. Her products were very high quality also. Liz was so great and I would recommend her to anyone
I am 30 years old and out of my 30 years of life I have never felt more beautiful as I did on the day of my wedding- thanks to Liz Monroe. She is an artist. She listened to what I ...
wanted and what I’m comfortable with and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I wish I could have her do my make up every day lol. On the altar, my fiancé whispered “you look beautiful” and I whispered back “I know.” Haha! Thank you so much Liz! You’re the best!
Liz made me feel gorgeous on my wedding day! I’m typically not a makeup wearer (read: a quick swipe of tinted chapstick or MAYBE lipstick, and some mascara on the run), so while I ...
wanted to look a little different made-up for my special day, I still wanted to look like myself, and I didn’t want to look overdone. Liz found the perfect balance! She worked with me to figure out what would make me comfortable in terms of make-up, chatted through possibilities, and then absolutely wow-ed me. She created the perfect minimalistic look for my tastes, but also highlighted all the right features well. I couldn’t have been happier! Liz also has the most wonderful personality; you will feel like you’ve known her your whole life! She brings such joy to any group she’s with, and she really makes an effort to learn about you and care for who you are as an individual. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!
Liz did the makeup for myself and my bridesmaids and I couldn’t recommend her more! She’s an incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful makeup artist who listens to her clients and pr...
ovides top notch pampering! Beyond her fanatastic skills, she is so much fun to work with. From the practice sessions to the day of my wedding, she was so friendly and we spent the whole time laughing and chatting. No matter the occasion, Liz provides the best of the best service!
Liz is an incredible make up artist and human! My husband and I had 11 people each in our wedding party and Liz showed up with her experience, kindness and make up ready to, quite ...
frankly, crush it, with everyone she worked with. All of our wedding party loved working with Liz - they felt heard and taken care of in Liz's chair. Liz also made sure my husband and I looked great on our wedding day by providing us touch ups with our foundation throughout the day.
I've always worked with Liz countless times after our wedding on commercial photoshoots that I do in Chicago. There is honestly no one I trust more than Liz when I work with big brands - she is on top of her game and can transform any man or woman who sit in her chair.
If you are looking for someone who you can trust fully to do an incredible job at not only make up, but being a helpful and kind professional, look no further - truly - Liz is a talent worth investing in.
Liz made me feel like a QUEEN. Not only is she an extremely talented makeup artist, but she’s just someone you need to get around—very easy going and you’ll feel like you’ve known ...
her forever. Her bubbly personality and passion for creating beauty will bring you joy. I felt the most beautiful I ever have on my wedding day thanks to Liz! Plus I felt super calm and excited with her nearby boosting my confidence!
I found myself in Liz's makeup chair while standing up in our friend's wedding - and she is now a close friend. She is kind, funny, easy to talk to, and she genuinely wants to know...
what you want from your look and your day! Aside from her wonderful personality, she also worked for Chanel for years, so she has an amazing knowledge of products and techniques to get you looking exactly how you pictured... and it will not sweat off on the dance floor!!! I would hire Liz in a second.
Liz did a fantastic job on my bridal makeup. She made me feel confident and beautiful. Wouldn’t have wanted any other makeup artist on my special day!! Liz is the way to go.
Liz did my wedding makeup and it was PERFECT! She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was so happy with how it turned out. I was going to do my own makeup but went with Liz bec...
ause she was the only one I trusted to do a better job than myself. I did not want the typical “natural” wedding makeup. Liz does that look wonderfully too, but I wanted something more. She really listened to what I wanted and gave me great advice on the best products and colors to use. She did most of my bridal party’s makeup as well and they all looked beautiful. They wanted pretty different looks and Liz did a great job with all of them. Liz even did some research in between my trial and the wedding to make sure she was giving me the best look possible. I would highly recommend her for any wedding look!
Liz is the best! She knows exactly what you need, even if you don’t. She did an excellent job giving me a natural look that I felt comfortable wearing, and took care of all the li...
ttle details. She very much put me at ease on my wedding day, when I was feeling very nervous. She has a way of making you feel like you’ve been friends your whole life! I highly recommend Liz for making you feel beautiful and confident for your special occasions.
