Liz is amazing. When you start the wedding planning process, the immediate thought most people have is "oh we can do this, how hard can it be?" You don't know what you don't know. ...
But a professional fills in the gaps that you're blind to and helps keep you in check along the way.
Just think about it - you're already spending tens of thousands on an event, whether it's one day or a whole weekend. Why would you want to stress yourself out during the event and not enjoy the hard work you've put into envisioning and planning? At the end of the day, people just want to have fun and celebrate, and what influences that the most?? THE MOOD AND ENERGY THAT YOU PROJECT. How are you going to be fully present with your loved ones during the event if you're worried about floral setup timing, figuring out where the card/gift table should go for optimal guest flow, cleanup, etc?
You need someone calm, responsible, authoritative yet easy to get along with, great with communication, an amazing problem solver - everything that Liz is and MORE. She's someone who takes care of all the details behind the scenes in the most flawless way. So many guests have even mentioned in conversation "wow your wedding planner was great, she was really on top of it all". And that's really all you need to know before you reach out to Liz, cus she is incredible and you will be so lucky to have her in your corner.
I don’t even know where to begin for this review because Liz is exceptional. From the first call we knew Liz was who we wanted to be there with us and assist in planning and coordi...
nating our wedding day. Liz is a natural, she is so calming, a great listener and brings your vision to life. When going through all our details, Liz knew exactly how to set it up and make it to be the best it could be. She truly knows it all. Not only that but she can handle any situation thrown her way. We had a pop up rain shower during ceremony time and she came up with multiple plans, checked in with us multiple times and helped make sure our vision for our day came true. Any issues or concerns, she handled with such grace, that many probably wouldn’t even of realized something happened. There is truly no one else I would rather of had there to make everything come together. Liz felt more like your best friend throughout the whole process, than just a planner. If we could do it a 100 more times, we’d pick Liz every time.
We LOVED our experience with Liz! She was able to meet our needs for our wedding weekend when things kept shifting around. She made the special day come to life even with a new ven...
ue and crazy weather. She is very professional and yet still very personal to my husband and I's vision of the ceremony and reception. We love Liz and HIGHLY recommend her to other couples
We hired Liz’s "Month-Of" package for our September 2024 wedding. From start to finish, Liz Lim was nothing short of phenomenal! Our wedding was perfect, thanks in no small part to...
her incredible expertise and attention to detail. If you are considering hiring anything from a full planner to day-of person, or are even on the fence, we cannot recommend Liz enough.
From the beginning, her vendor recommendations were outstanding. Each suggestion was spot-on, from the caterer to the photographer, making our planning process seamless and stress-free. Her extensive network and keen eye for quality ensured we had the best of the best for our special day, and her existing relationships made planning that much easier. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions, answering every little concern we had.
Liz excelled in managing the timing and intricate details of our wedding, and making sure that every one of our special requests were met and executed. Every element of her service, from the months planning ahead to the reception timeline, was incredibly helpful and perfectly orchestrated. Her expert advice and proactive planning meant that everything flowed smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without a hitch as she coordinated with vendors, dealt with our families, and handled any unforeseen issues.
One of the highlights of working with Liz was her thoughtfulness and personal touch on the wedding day. She went above and beyond by discreetly sneaking us out of the reception when we needed to make a quick exit, and ensuring we were fed and hydrated to continue celebrating. Her care extended to saving our escort cards for us without us even asking, as we realized the next day we had wished we grabbed them and were so happily surprised to see she packed them away for us!
In short, Liz provided us with a level of service and attention to detail that surpassed our expectations. We had several friends who didn’t think we needed a coordinator, but after our wedding they went out of their way to tell us how amazing Liz was and how essential she was to making our day special. If you’re looking for a wedding coordinator who combines expert knowledge with genuine care and thoughtfulness, look no further. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in making our wedding day truly unforgettable!
Liz Lim was the coordinator for our May 2024 wedding and it was the best decision we made! She helped us starting around 3 months out, but was more than happy to answer any questio...
ns we had before that time. She also provided a month-by-month checklist that kept us on track and made the planning process seamless and stress free! It was great having Liz handle all communication with the vendors leading up to the big day and not have to worry about all of those logistics. And then on the rehearsal and big day, she made sure everything ran on time and answered any questions someone had. We noted at the end of the day how seamless the entire weekend was and that if anything had gone off track, we didn't know about it because Liz handled it! It was amazing and we are so thankful for Liz! If you're getting married in the D.C. area, hiring Liz and her team is a must!

ention to detail, organization, transparency, and quick communication were outstanding. She was able to offer her expertise, guidance, and advice leading up to the wedding as well. On the wedding day, there was not a single detail missed. Liz was able to keep us on time and execute our vision while staying calm and maintaining a positive attitude. We were able to stay calm on a such a crazy day because of her! We had countless guests comment on how amazing she was. The day after our wedding we kept saying, "How does anyone even throw a wedding without Liz?!" She is our wedding MVP and we highly recommend her!

ke everything absolutely perfect! She was so responsive and had the best eye for details. She made sure everything was planned to perfection prior to our wedding and everything ran so smoothly during the day. s in the lead up to the wedding and on the day of. She helped create a detailed timeline of our wedding day and coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure everyone knew where they needed to be and when. Come the day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch thanks to Liz and all of her hard work behind the scenes. We would highly recommend Liz & Co. Events for anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!
Hiring Liz was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding day. Liz not only stuck with us through 3 wedding dates (thanks Covid) and years of planning, but she made sure ...
we didn’t lose a dime or go over budget in the process! She thought of every little detail and didn’t miss a beat in the weeks leading up to our big day. We essentially had a destination wedding because we moved across country after postponing twice but at no point did we feel any added stress planning from such a long distance. Liz had detailed checklists for us in the weeks leading up to the wedding and kept us so prepared we actually had very little to do the week of the wedding. Her calm demeanor kept our anxiety at bay and the day went off without a hitch! We are so fortunate that Liz was a part of our planning process and can’t stop recommending her to our engaged friends and family members. Her years of experience in the wedding industry helped us select and negotiate with vendors as we all adapted to the post-pandemic marketplace. Her expertise planning weddings at our venue in particular allowed us a seamless day. She knew all the perfect spaces for photos, first look, ceremony, etc. and ensured the transition from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception flowed seamlessly. She put together a stunning wedding for us and coordinated all the vendors communication so we didn’t have to think about a thing. On top of that Liz is incredibly down to earth, detail oriented, and fun to work with! Almost a year later we’re still in awe of how wonderful our day was and we couldn’t have done it without Liz. We can’t rave about her enough and are so lucky to have gained such a wonderful friend in this wedding planning process. Don’t hesitate, Liz is your girl!

e leading up to and during our wedding weekend. We selected the month package so she was with us for all the final negotiations, timelines and plans, built a to-do list by month to keep me organized until then, and also helped suggest wedding vendors from shuttles to florals. On the day of, she was invaluable for keeping everything on track and I was so relieved to just be present and enjoy our wedding day. I would recommend Liz a million times over.

on, Liz was very helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was always very quick to answer any questions that we had, or to offer suggestions for various vendors. As the wedding approached, Liz created a detailed timeline of our wedding day and reached out to our vendors on multiple occasions to make sure that everything was finalized. We greatly appreciated how often she would check in with us to see if we needed anything or to remind us of any remaining tasks. Liz took all of the stress out of the wedding day and made sure that everything went according to plan. Our wedding day was perfect and we owe it to Liz and her team for all of their hard work behind the scenes. I highly recommend choosing Liz & Co Events!

the wedding, Liz immediately jumped on a call with us to see how we were feeling and offered her experience and advice. Multiple times we said that we didn’t know how we would have done things without her help. We had many unforeseen changes throughout the planning process and Liz helped us talk through each one and figure out the best course of action. On the day of the wedding, she made sure everything went smoothly and was a very calm person to have around! We already recommended her to our friends and would recommend her to any couple looking into wedding planning services!
Planning a wedding is like having a second job, there are so many pieces, people, and miscellaneous things to coordinate. We hired Liz as our day of coordinator, and it was one of ...
the best decisions we made. We met with Liz a few times prior to the wedding to discuss our vision. Anytime I needed suggestions or help she was always there. She provided a list of vendors that she had worked with and even found and booked our party bus for us. She was a welcome breath of fresh air about a month leading up to the wedding as she took over most and then all of the coordination with the numerous vendors we had booked. She would join on calls with photographers, videographers etc… The week leading up to the wedding was chaos, we had even missed a call with the videographer, but Liz carried on with the call and then let us know what we had missed. She seamlessly planned a timeline for our wedding, and I can honestly say without her I would have been completely and utterly lost. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding and coordinating all the vendors and Liz made sure not to miss anything!
We had our wedding at a hotel, which comes with a wedding coordinator. If you are debating on hiring a wedding planner I would implore you to hire Liz. She was always in our corner to make sure everything goes correct and also reminding me of things that need to be done. The linens for the tables that I had chosen for the reception were actually the wrong ones originally setup, and it was Liz who noticed and made sure that everything was corrected, I cannot tell you how thankful I am that Liz was part of our wedding.
There are things that as I reflect on our wedding I would like to have changed, but I can tell you without a doubt that Liz was one of the best decisions we made while we planned our wedding!

She was always available when I had questions or just wanted someone to bounce ideas off of. She has such an extensive list of venues and wedding people that she's worked with in the past!!
I think 2-3 months before our wedding day, we met with Liz to plan our wedding schedule. She has a very warm and calm approach to making sure our schedule worked, providing recommendations, and making sure everything happened flawlessly on my wedding day. She was so flexible with our time table and constraints! Needless to say, she absolutely made me feel at ease with everything that was happening behind the scenes on our wedding day. We couldn't imagine having our wedding day without her!!!
